Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta faucets continue to impress. Delta Faucet Cassidy 2-Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet Champagne Bronze I love look of this faucet its traditional looking and slightly higher than a standard faucet looks and feels really high end. The faucet feels solid and there is a nice weight to the handles, everything moves smoothly including the metal pop-up. The directions provided were great, and installation went as simply as possible. Water flows very smooth. It's also a WaterSense labeled faucet uses at least 20% less water than the industry standard without compromising performance. They are a nice, heavy quality, these will last forever. We also love the lifetime warranty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and functional! Love this faucet! I’m obsessed with the gold color and changed everything in our bathroom to match. It was easy to go online and find the matching items. Well made and feels sturdy. Operates smoothly and was an easy install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet set I could not be more pleased with this faucet set. The champagne bronze color coordinated very well with the typhoon Bordeaux granite and hammered copper sinks. It is very heavy which usually means well made. I have Delta brand fixtures throughout my home because they are reliable and available in many styles with coordinating accessories like towel rings etc. I am a construction superintendent, this faucet was installed by me in my own home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install I love how easy it is to install, the directions are very clear and easy to understand . but you might want to make sure it will work with your sink. I had to go out and buy a few extra pieces to make it fit. I love how sturdy the sink is . Faucet is solid and well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish! It took a weekend to get this installed. We are already working on a remodel in our bathroom so this was just a finishing piece that we carefully put together. We had a new sink, so we didn't have to replace or take out the old one. Installation was easy for my husband because he does this for a living, but it works well, the water comes out fast and smooth. It's elegant and stylish for our bathroom. I definitely recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet This faucet is absolutely beautiful and I never thought I would say that about a faucet. It is a great fit in my bathroom. I love the height of the faucet. It sits high enough over the sink that I don't have to worry about my hands hitting the bottom of the sink while washing. It was easy to install by myself. The water pressure is perfect. It has a vintage look to it which I really like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta -Cassidy 2 Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet I am so excited about my Cassidy 2 Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet made by Delta. It is brushed brass looking color. I love that it isn't just your regular blah silver color. I also love that it isn't like most bathroom faucet because instead of tiny knobs it has 2 long handles. Also instead of just a small spicket this one is longer. It looks so incredible and no more hitting my knuckles or hand sliding off. I definitely recommend this product to everyone. It is so easy to install and my bathroom sink looks amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Addition to the Bathroom We had a leaky faucet in our bathroom that needing fixing for many years. I kept putting it off for some reason or another. Now I know why. I got a chance to replace the entire set in the downstairs bathroom where the leak was with this lovely Delta Cassidy Two Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet! I am so glad I picked this one out. I was scared I didn't have the right one. But I hired a contractor who is also my cousin to do the sink over where possible just so I could have this put in. It turned out really nice. I like how the leakage has stopped most of all and we're not wasting anymore water. Sometimes you just have to wait to get something you need. In this case it makes my bathroom look so much more nicer now also. The color is perfect. If there was any problem installing nobody told me but it works great after having this done for a few weeks now.

Going to try and see if there is a way to adjust but No. I’m super disappointed in the quality. I wouldn’t by it again. Had to go to Lowe's buy a other brand faucet for my bathroom. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faucet Perfection! Excellent quality & great style. Also purchase the cross handles which are a perfect compliment to the faucet. Would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful addition to bathroom I bought this to go in my newly remodeled bathroom. I wanted something traditional looking and slightly higher than a standard faucet. This fit the bill perfectly and looks wonderful. The directions provided were good, so installation went as simply as possible. The only hitch was the faucet shanks were too short for my countertop, which is 1 1/4" thick. I ordered an extension kit and that did the trick. The snap-on connectors worked perfectly, but require a bit of force to connect, though I think that is probably good. I put cross handles on rather than levers, so the cold water turns on when you turn the handle clockwise, which is how it would turn on with lever handles. It could be changed by changing the cartridge, but it doesn't bother me that much. All-in-all, I recommend this to anyone who wants a gently elegant traditional faucet for their bathroom.

Q&A

Does the 3597LF-MPU come with the lever handles included. I see other part numbers that come less handles. So then you would have to order handels separately.. This model number doesn't say included or excluded.

Asked by: Brnet
Hi, Brnet! Thank you for your question. The Delta 3597LF-MPU Faucet does include the H297 Handles. Best Regards, Rosanna

How are the valves installed so that they are closed with the levers pointing away from the spout and open with the levers pointing into the tub?

Asked by: RetiredPete
Hello RetiredPete, Thank you for your inquiry! Here are the step by step walk thru on how to install each stem unit and 1/4 turn stops, so the handle turn correctly. I hope the information is helpful. Hot side ~ The stem unit will go into the valve with the raised white portion of the stem toward the spout. When you install the stem into the valve, you should notice 2 notches in the brass valve body. The stem unit will have a piece in each side that will fit into the notches. These notches should be facing the 3 and 9 o'clock position, if you imagine a clock face. With the stem installed in the valve, you will need to insert the 1/4 turn stop into the slot in the front of the stem unit. Now you will want to tighten down the bonnet nut that screws onto the valve body. Once the nut is hand tight, you might need to reposition the brass arm that is straight up and down on the stem unit. The flat part of this arm should be facing away from the spout. So it should be in the 9 o'clock position. You can rotate this arm by grabbing a hold of it and just twisting it. Once you have it in the 9 o'clock position, you should be able to reinstall the handle and tighten the setscrew. Now when you turn the handle, it should turn toward you. Cold side ~ The stem unit will go into the valve with the raised white part away from the spout. So if you image a clock, the white piece of the stem will be facing the 3 o'clock position. Again, the stem should fit into the two notches at the 3 and 9 o'clock position. The 1/4 turn stop will actually be installed the the back side of the stem. Once that is installed, you can tighten the bonnet nut over the valve and screw it down just hand tight. Grab a hold of the brass arm and twist it until the flat part is facing away from the spout. Again, it will be in the 3 o'clock position just like the white part of the stem. Once that is facing the correct direction, you should be able to install the handle and turn it toward you. Best regards, Tanya
