Spout threads too short for 1" thick or more top
Purchased two of these great looking faucets. Then found out the threads on the spout are too short for a 1" thick or more counter top. After calling Delta learned you have to purchase two extension kits @$29.40 each, RP10612, to make them mount properly. Poor design, adding just a 1/4" to the length of the spout threads would eliminate this issue and having to pay a plumber to come back and correct this. Can't recommend the product.

Thrilled because faucet handles turn in correct directions with cross handles!!!
l love the look of this faucet and it was easy to install, but the best thing about this faucet is that with the cross handles it is possible to configure it so that the handles both open counterclockwise and close clockwise. The faucets that are pre-built backwards on the cold side and not configurable drive me bananas....

Poor design and cheap materials
The design has major flaws. The tubing that connects the hot and cold valve to the centrally located spout is made from very low quality materials. This connection tubing is clear plastic tubing with next to no reinforcing. The connections for the plastic tubing to the spout are cheap plastic snap-on connectors. The connection for the snap-on connectors to the plastic tubing is poorly done and of low workmanship. I would only recommend this if you have a very good homeowners insurance policy with zero deductible because this lavatory faucet is going to fail faster than you realize and will end up causing major water damage. The very poor quality of this product led me to remove it shortly after installing it as I had just remodeled my house, and knew this product was a disaster waiting to happen. I would give it zero stars if possible.

Very pleased
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a house flipper I've purchased numerous variations of this faucet in both polished nickel and chrome. Very nice look and feel. I've used both cross handles and also the French curve handles and I have been very happy. Polished nickel has a nice finish and looks very expensive . I've done complete baths with the Cassidy line and it is very well received.

Classic design and solid build!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this faucet for our powder room renovation after installing a Cassidy faucet in our kitchen earlier this year. The design and polished nickel finish is a classic look that would work well with a variety of decors. It looks great with our white countertop.
Installation was quick with easy to follow instructions. The build quality is excellent. The faucet feels solid and there is a nice weight to the handles. I am very happy with my purchase... highly recommend!

Beautiful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our master bath was just finished and we went with the Cassidy collection in champagne bronze. Could not be happier with the color and style as I was going for a modern vintage feel. Looks amazing against marble! Water flows very nicely (never noticed that about a faucet before but can definitely tell a difference from the old one).

Q&A
Does the 3597LF-MPU come with the lever handles included. I see other part numbers that come less handles. So then you would have to order handels separately.. This model number doesn't say included or excluded.
Hi, Brnet!
Thank you for your question. The Delta 3597LF-MPU Faucet does include the H297 Handles.
Best Regards,
Rosanna

How are the valves installed so that they are closed with the levers pointing away from the spout and open with the levers pointing into the tub?
Hello RetiredPete,
Thank you for your inquiry! Here are the step by step walk thru on how to install each stem unit and 1/4 turn stops, so the handle turn correctly. I hope the information is helpful.
Hot side ~ The stem unit will go into the valve with the raised white portion of the stem toward the spout. When you install the stem into the valve, you should notice 2 notches in the brass valve body. The stem unit will have a piece in each side that will fit into the notches. These notches should be facing the 3 and 9 o'clock position, if you imagine a clock face. With the stem installed in the valve, you will need to insert the 1/4 turn stop into the slot in the front of the stem unit. Now you will want to tighten down the bonnet nut that screws onto the valve body. Once the nut is hand tight, you might need to reposition the brass arm that is straight up and down on the stem unit. The flat part of this arm should be facing away from the spout. So it should be in the 9 o'clock position. You can rotate this arm by grabbing a hold of it and just twisting it. Once you have it in the 9 o'clock position, you should be able to reinstall the handle and tighten the setscrew. Now when you turn the handle, it should turn toward you.
Cold side ~ The stem unit will go into the valve with the raised white part away from the spout. So if you image a clock, the white piece of the stem will be facing the 3 o'clock position. Again, the stem should fit into the two notches at the 3 and 9 o'clock position. The 1/4 turn stop will actually be installed the the back side of the stem. Once that is installed, you can tighten the bonnet nut over the valve and screw it down just hand tight. Grab a hold of the brass arm and twist it until the flat part is facing away from the spout. Again, it will be in the 3 o'clock position just like the white part of the stem. Once that is facing the correct direction, you should be able to install the handle and turn it toward you.
Best regards,
Tanya

Is the minimum distance from the backsplash (2.5”) measured from the center of the hole?
Hi, DonP!
Thank you for your question. The Delta 3597LF-MPU Faucet does have a minimum clearance to back splash of 2.5". This measurement starts at the center of the hole for the spout and handles.
Best Regards, Rosanna

Can the handles that come with the 3597LF-MPU faucet be replaced with the H298 faucet handles?
Thank you for your question, LoraineS! The H297, H298 as well as the H295 handle assemblies are all interchangeable options.

Are there “Hot and Cold” indicators available for the faucet handles?
Hi, Nanny!
Thank you for your question. The Delta 3597LF-MPU Faucet does not include hot and cold temperature indicators. The handle buttons to hide the set screws are designed to match the finish of the faucet.
Best Regards,
Rosanna
