I want to increase the water pressure in my shower. I've determined that the Delta Lahara Monitor 14 Series single handle shower is not allowing the proper water pressure to come into the shower head. Is there an adjustment I can make inside the valve?

The shower flow rate would be determined by the model of showerhead used. There is not an adjustment to increase the valve flow rate, it should provide more than the showerhead's maximum flow rate. To troubleshoot an issue, we recommend checking the flow rate with the showerhead removed. Clean any trapped debris in the showerhead connection. I have the lahara monitor 14 in rubbed bronze. I just ordered the shower handle to replace due to corrosion. The set screw l need measures metric M5x0.8x12mm. What is the part number for this set screw?

What valve do I need for this trim? I would like it to have Pex fitting for plumbing.

Hello JoeyP! Thank you for your question! I will be happy to assist. You are able to use any of the R10000 valves we manufacture with T14038-SS. As you are wanting to use PEX, please verify the type of PEX connection you are using. We have R10000-PX(WS) which is PEX crimp, or pex crimp with stops. We also have R10000-MF(WS) which is PEX Cold Expansion or PEX Cold Expansion with stops. The cold water side rotates to 3:00 o'clock, but the hot water side only goes to about 11:00 o'clock. Is this normal? If not, how can I adjust it? A plumber said I needed to change the cartridge, and he quoted me a price of $700.

Will this work to replace my monitor 1400 series with Valve BP19804 thanks

Hi Lonnie, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14038. Yes, this 14 series trim kit can be used to update a pre-MultiChoice 1400 series faucet with an RP19804 cartridge. I have a T14038-SS shower water controller and a T11800-SS diverter installed in my shower. Does the Escutcheon plate for either of these units need to have a bead of caulk around them? It was never done. So, can this introduce water into the tile wall?

I have a shower only T14038 Lahara that was installed the house we bought 13 years ago. I need to replace the cartridge (RP46074) but I have been unable to find any set screws on the handle. Do I need to remove the faceplate to access it?

What material is this valve trim cover made out of?

Specs say the handle only controls temperature. Does that mean the volume (pressure) is full on as soon as you move the handle clockwise? Or is there less volume when it is set for warm as opposed to the hot water position?
