Hi, I am looking into updating the shower/bath trim in my bathroom> I currently have a delta system installed and I am looking to update with a black trim system. Is there a way to avoid updating valves? Thx
Thank you for your question. As long as the screw holes on your current Delta 13/1400 series large round escutcheon plate are at the 1 and 7 o'clock positions and you do not have a push button shower diverter directly below the off and on handle, then The Delta Trinsic Tub and Shower T14459-BL trim kit and any of our other trim kits that start with a T13 or a T14 will interchange for you, without having to replace the rough-in valve body in the wall. The cartridges that come with the new trim kits may not fit your valve body, so you may need to reuse your existing cartridge.

I would like to know which of the shower head and spigot components are non-metallic and what they are made of.
Thank you for your question. The handle, escutcheon plate, and shower arm of the Delta Trinsic Tub and Shower T14459-CZ faucet model are metal. The shower head and tub spout have non-metallic components.

I'd like to purchase the Trinsic shower fixtures and the Trinsic wall mounted sink faucet. I'd like to know if the entire product is made of metal. I don't want to purchase an item that has plastic parts inside. Thanks!
Thank you for your question. The handle, escutcheon plate, and shower arm are metal. The shower head and tub spout have non-metallic components.
Best regards, Jon

My T14459-BLLHD tub and shower trim kit came with the slip on adapter. I have a 1/2" brass nipple coming out of the wall. The instructions show varying spouts, so I am not sure if the install approach is universal for Delta spouts. Advice?
Thank you for your question, Trim Less Showerhead!
You have a slip on tub spout if your kit included the slip on adapter, part number RP33794, which will only work on smooth 1/2" copper pipe.

Slip on installation for the tub spout
The details on the slip on installation for the tub spout is very minimal. What is the length of the pipe from the wall? Also, does any caulk need to be used? also, it says to tighten the set screen, but the white plastic middle is in the way and does not have a whole? Is the adapter supposed to be inside the white plastic piece in the middle?
Very poor instructions!!
Thank you for your question, Kevin. The tub spout will include a brass slip-on adapter (RP33794) that you can remove from the tub spout. The 1/2" copper pipe should extend 2" to 4" from the finished wall. Install the adapter so that there is a 1/4" to 1/2" between the adapter and the finished wall. Tighten the set screw, then thread the tub spout onto the adapter.

Want to install wall mount hand shower 57923-CZ... will it work with this system and what are all the components/parts requirement to install?
Will a 3-Way Shower Arm Diverter for Hand Shower U4929-cz-pk work? Will we need to get any other parts?
Hi R-hung, Thank you for your question. The U4929-CZ-PK will attach to your current shower arm and allow you to then connect your current showerhead and the 57923-CZ wall mount hand shower to the diverter. The diverter will allow you to use each showerhead individually or both at the same time. You will not need any other parts.

My valve was made before 2006, what do I need to buy together?
Which cartridge does this trim package come with by default? Do I need to buy a different cartridge for my old valve? If so which model I need to buy (RP19804??)?
Hi Ryan, Thank you for your question. The RP46074 is the cartridge that will ship with the T14459-SS trim. Your existing 1300/1400 series faucet which was made prior to 2006 should use the RP19804 cartridge.
