Is the spout stainless steel, or does it just look like stainless steel ?

My faucet drips drips. Do I need a new faucet or repair kit? Single Handle Kitchen Faucet Model # 100-SS-DST

Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is the information needed to resolve your issue for you. Leaking is typically caused by debris. If only one side is affected, there is debris in the supply line. We would recommend flushing the unit. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut-off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the middle position, fully open, then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and turn on both supplies. Check for leaks from the faucet. I have a single lever kitchen faucet with no sprayer. The faucet is leaking from the diverter housing. I have replaced the diverter plug, but is still leaking. Can the housing be replaced? Can I remove the tube clip?

Faucet has constant drip how do I replace inner parts?

Hello Bobg, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The issue of your Delta Faucet 100-DST dripping is most likely the result of debris in your supply lines or faucet. Over time, common water debris will settle in the house supply lines. Anytime the water is shut off to a portion of the home, this debris can become dislodged and will move through the pipes to be caught by a faucet. Local construction or the changing of the seasons can also cause this. Flushing the supply lines through the unit should remedy this situation. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge, and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. If the issue remains, the cartridge RP50587 may need to be replaced. Please reach out directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Best regards, Bryan
