Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rim of soap dispenser turning green!! I had this Zalia faucet installed in May of 2021. In general, I love the style and function of this product. A downside is that the aerator gets clogged and I have NO idea how to clean it. Another post said something about a wrench provided to remove and clean it but I have no such wrench..and no instructions on how to use it if I did! Also, the rim of the soap dispenser is turning green! I’m afraid to scrub it clean because I suspect the dispenser is NOT solid stainless but just metal coated plastic which would only make it worse! The FINISH on this product is supposed to be warrantied for life, but this didn’t last a year! Not sure I can recommend this product! I intend to ask for a replacement soap dispenser AND the wrench and instructions for removing and cleaning aerator!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than a faucet I just purchased this new Delta faucet because my old Delta of 20+ years is outdated and recently had a small leak on the hose that pulls out. I love the new updated features that they provided on this faucet. The part that quickly cleans off the dirty dish while not letting the water splatter is a great addition! I purchased Delta again because they really stand behind their products. That older faucet had it's handle cartridge replaced twice under their warranty. It was amazing customer service that all businesses should take note of.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks good but didn't last 2 years I bought another one to replace one I bought just 18 months ago. Customer service wanted to send me O rings when all I needed was a faucet that lives up to the advertisement on the box of "guaranteed for life".

I’ve noticed that the shield spray on our Zalia SPSD is not as large as it was. Is the shield size adjustable? If so how. And the yellow wrench that came with the faucet does what? Plumber said it was for cleaning the shield spray.

Asked by: Alan
Hello Alan, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The Delta 19781Z-SPSD-DST faucet includes a wrench to remove the aerator from the spray head. If your spray pattern has changed over time, it is likely due to mineral deposits that have built up. We recommend soaking the aerator or spray head in 50/50 white vinegar and water. Rinse the finished surface after. The size of the ShieldSpray will also be affected by changes in water pressure. Best regards, Bryan

19781Z-SPSD-DST - My faucet is leaking. I am unable to open the handle with the standard Hex Keys I have. can u pl. help me with what hex key I should use and how can I arrest the drip?

Asked by: Ganesh
Hello Valued Customer, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! The ZALIA® Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet MODEL#: 19781Z-SPSD-DST uses a 1/8" Allen wrench to remove the set screw. It is possible that a flush could resolve this issue. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold-water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut-off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the fully open middle position, and then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and repeat with the second line. If this does not help, please let us know. Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Kelley Digital Communications Specialist

I have model 19781-Z SPSD-DST and it has a leak coming from inside the body of the faucet where the PEX supply lines are. How do you gain access to the supply lines inside the faucet body to see the leak is?

Asked by: Weekley

I just bought the Zaila kitchen faucet. I installed it and flushed the lines but the cold water is much slower than the hot water. The previous faucet was not that way. I checked the pressure at the shut off valve under the sink and it is perfect there.

My Zalia faucet was installed October 2020. The flow from it has dropped off. I have tried pushing the button (at the hose/nozzle connection) but the head won't come off. Any suggestions???

Asked by: Lee711
Hello Lee711, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 19781Z-SPSD-DST ZALIA™ Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Soap Dispenser And ShieldSpray. I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. We are happy to help! The spray head hose can also be disconnected below the sink to troubleshoot whether the issue is with the spray head or with another part of the faucet. I recommend using a bucket to disconnect the hose connection below the sink and check the flow rate into the bucket without the spray head. If there is good flow with the spray head removed. Soak the spray head in 50/50 white vinegar and water, then rinse. This will dissolve mineral deposits that may be reducing the flow through the spray head. Please reach out directly at customerservice@deltafaucet.com or 1-800-345-DELTA if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. when turned towards full hot, the faucet does not flow at all. I've removed spray head and confirmed that water flows thru little tube well on cold. While I removed head, I cleaned with CLR.

Asked by: Katharine
Hello Katharine, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you! I have included below the steps on flushing our Delta Faucet ZALIA™ Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Soap Dispenser And ShieldSpray MODEL#: 19781Z-SPSD-DST, To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Let this run for 2-3 min, and then do this same process with the hot-water supply. Thank you for being a loyal Delta customer. Please contact us back for any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole
