strange smell
The new faucet works well in term of function; however after using for about a month, water coming of it starts having some strange smell. Water coming from an old faucet about 5-yard away remains odorless which has me believe something wrong with the faucet itself. Anyone has similar experience? Please help.

Easy to use
Pretty to look at, easy to use and reliable. The faucet that we had before did not swivel and we have two sinks. We always had to use the hose. Wonderful addition to our kitchen.

I choose to purchase this faucet to replace one that was cheap and would not stop spinning. I have chosen an excellent product. I feel a bit spoiled. It is so easy to use, and looks great.

I do love this faucet!
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I was initially surprised by the spray feature, which was split into two separate streams. It works well and the shield stream feature is great! Only had it for a week, but hoping it lasts a long time. My Kohler was a failure. Even after the company sent parts to fix it!

Love the height of it
Our old one broke but with the life time warranty the store gave us a store credit and we were able to get a much better one. I love the height of it and the soft spray. Three different soft sprays not like my old one that splattered everywhere and everything. I love it.

Doesn't meet the specifications
Video shows a grey hose. Part list shows an RP62057 which is a grey hose. Product comes with a black hose which is a stark contrast for something that is silver. Grey per the original design works well. Black as supplied does not.
Will be returning.

Q&A
I was at Home Depot to look at the Leland19978Z-RB-DST in Venetian Bronze but they only had a different model showing the bronze color. Does the bronze color look the same regardless of the model name or does the color vary between models?
Hi, Mary637!
Thank you for your question. Our finishes on our Delta faucets may vary in color but only slightly. There should not be a big significance and should match when placed side by side.
Best Regards,
Rosanna

How do you remove the handle for faucet model 19978Z-rb-dst? handle number RP 63195? Thanks.
Thank you for your question, Wayne! The handle is held in place with a set screw located on the side. This set screw will take a standard 1/8" hex key in order to remove the handle.
Best regards, Edward

I found this faucet at Home Depot. #19978Z-RB-DST The color says Leland Bronze. The one shown above says Venetian Bronze. Is there a difference. Also the cost is different $221 and about $425 at a high end store. Quality difference??
Hi, Debbie!
Thank you for your question. Leland is the name of the Delta 19978Z-RB-DST. The faucet finish is Venetian Bronze. This may have been labeled incorrectly. We do apologize for the confusion.
The list price for the faucet maybe different from place to place as we let the stores that sell our Delta products set their pricing.
All Delta faucets feature the same quality parts, materials, and workmanship, no matter what kind of dealer sells them.
Best Regards,
Rosanna
