Rated 4 out of 5 by from First pull down faucet This replaces an older faucet that the spray hose would not stay functional. The diverter was replaced 3 times. Like it so far. (3 hours) I would like the hose counterweight to be larger/heavier so it would tend to pull the faucet back up. The shield spray seems to be a gimmick. I will play with it some more.

You don’t have to put a big pot in the sink to fill it with water, just put it on the counter or your stove, if it’s within reach. We are pleased with the purchase price and we got a good faucet that makes things easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice indeed. We purchased this yesterday to replace a faucet that became difficult to swivel which would not be disassembled for cleaning and lubrication. The only issue I had with the installation was the two tabs the 3-hole base plate, intended to center the faucet, were rather fragile, and were not backed up by metal tabs on the cover as with the single hole base. One of them snapped off easily, but this did not hamper the overall installation. Other than that, I am quite satisfied with this purchase. Everything one would need for it's normal installation was included in the box. Though the item is larger than one I would typically want, it was on reduced sale, and most importantly, it came with a three-hole base plate with threaded hole locaters, Of all the similar faucets from other manufacturers, this was the only one I found with this feature, which the prior faucet lacked, allowing the base to rotate a bit under pressure after the swiveling became stiff. The only real difficulty during installation was the very limited space there was to work with between the back of the kitchen sink and exterior wall, not any fault of the product. Otherwise the installation was simple and straightforward, well within the ability of the average handy homeowner.

I didn’t have help so it was a real challenge working under the sink while trying to keep the facet in place up top. The extended wrench fought me, refusing to seat the hex nut. Over an hour... the finally it went over the nut. I truly began to wonder if it was the right wrench. The whole installation should be as easy as attaching the escutcheon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy! Doesn't work Faucet was professionally installed and worked great for about 20 days, and then it became difficult to turn off properly. Unless there was a very precise clockwise swirl while moving the handle to the off position, it continues to drip. Delta sent me a new cartridge, which I paid a plumber to replace, and it worked well.... for a week before it started having the same problem. Delta was absolutely no help- they won't do anything except send another new cartridge, however I can't afford nor do I want to replace the cartridge every month!! Now I have to purchase a new faucet and pay a plumber to install it-- by the time I'm done with this it will be the most expensive faucet ever. My previous Moen lasted 15 years, and this Delta won't make it to 3 months.

The quality is super impressive, and it looks modern and stylish in my kitchen. My favorite feature is the magnet. No more droopy faucet head! I love this faucet!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Loud valve design, difficult to turn off I bought the Delta Leland pull-down faucet and installed it in our kitchen. The faucet had an extremely loud whooshing sound coming from the valve area. It resonated throughout the house, although it was not water hammer. I flushed the lines, checked pressure, made sure the lines were not kinked. Removed and reinstalled the cartridge and aerator screen. Couldn't quiet it down. Additionally, the handle has a range of operation in a V shape that's difficult to turn off precisely. After an unhelpful, slow interaction with Delta customer service, I returned the faucet and bought a Moen. I'm very happy with the Moen.

I recently bought and installed this kitchen faucet and found it easy to install and I like that its mainly metal we replaced one that was plastic and cheap metal that wore hard and looked bad. The new one looks great my one issue with the new one is I find the rubber weight ring that is suppose to retract the spray head back to its lock position seems to not be heavy enough to make it fully retract and I find most times I’m manually pushing the spray head back into position. That being said we are very happy with it as a nice kitchen faucet that will last us a long time. If it were not for the weight issue I would have given it 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better features compared to the old one. The old one is heavy n looks sturdy. I hope this new one will last las long as the old one. I observed that turning on and turning off the faucet off puts some water to pool at the base of the faucet which goes to the back of the sink. There must be an absorbent cloth or napkin behind the faucet to prevent this from happening. Otherwise, it’s a better faucet based on function and features. I bought it more than two weeks ago.

I searched different reviews and liked this best. fits my three hole sink perfect and the install was easy and quick. I pray this last as long as others say it will.

I also love the style as the handle is higher than a lot of other styles which is just what I wanted. My only critique would be that the spray buttons are black on a stainless steel fixture, BUT I can put the spout so the buttons are facing away and you don’t see them so it doesn’t bother me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Pleased With This Top Quality Faucet! We bought our apartment about two years ago, and it was a total gut renovation, so everything was brand new. They installed a Glacier Bay faucet in the kitchen sink. We liked it. However, a few weeks ago, we noticed that it started leaking water into the cabinet space below our sink. Very frustrating since it was only two years old. We called a repairman to see if it could be fixed. He took one look at it and said that Glacier Bay makes the cheapest, lowest-quality products and that it would be more cost-efficient to just buy a new faucet. We did an online search and found a poll that ranked Delta the "Highest Rated Overall Brand" on mrkichenfaucets.com. So we went to Home Depot and bought this particular model. Installation was a breeze. Incidentally, it was the first faucet I've ever installed, so now I'm a real man. Haha. It's got a beautiful look, and the three water release options are great. We really like the ShieldSpray Technology. There's no dried food on a plate that it can't get off. So we're loving the faucet so far, and we're happy knowing that we now have a high quality product that will last a long time versus the cheap one we had previously. Don't hesitate to buy this faucet!

I was at Home Depot to look at the Leland19978Z-RB-DST in Venetian Bronze but they only had a different model showing the bronze color. Does the bronze color look the same regardless of the model name or does the color vary between models?

How do you remove the handle for faucet model 19978Z-rb-dst? handle number RP 63195?  Thanks.

I found this faucet at Home Depot. #19978Z-RB-DST The color says Leland Bronze. The one shown above says Venetian Bronze. Is there a difference. Also the cost is different $221 and about $425 at a high end store. Quality difference??
