Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy install! Bought from a nationwide hardware store. Install was nice and straight forward with included handy tools to simplify things. Works fine. Spray pattern is kinda 2 semi-circles instead of a full circular flow. The non-splatter spray has a stream in the middle so if the flow isn't held close to the rinsed/watered item it does splatter a bit, but not horribly so. Main faucet stream seems narrower than some so I choked the main supply valve down some so as to have a less powerful stream. Good thing I suppose to conserve the water. Not dissatisfied in the least; only mention these items if it matter to others. In research prior everything seemed to indicate it needed a 2.5" opening to mount. I think it meant to be a 2.5" space from center of opening to any nearby backsplash etc. This one mounted in the old unit (Moen) cutout of about 1" and I had less than 2.5" but there is plenty of clearance to operate the handle as it doesn't have the much of an arc to activate. We really like the magnetic feature to keep the nozzle in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect When needing to replace our kitchen faucet, I spent time researching. A Delta faucet was a given. After reading reviews, the Leland faucet had the features I wanted. Now that it is installed, I couldn’t be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Interesting features Aside from it being a basic well built noting fancy faucet, it comes with a feature that I thought was just a gimmick. Shield Spray technology is now something I can’t ,onger live without in a kitchen faucet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully designed, love it! My husband and I made the mistake of buying a cheap version of this faucet and regret doing so. There is no substitute for quality and that is exactly what this faucet is. It's beautifully designed and works very well. It was incredibly easy to install, the choice of 3 choices of spray are nice and the end fits your hand perfectly. Highly recommend this faucet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Some good, some mediocre, some bad features. The good: Magnetic pull down retention works great and I expect it to last much longer than the "snap in" type retainers that I have seen fail frequently in other faucets. The mediocre: First, admittedly this is subjective, but most lever faucets you lift the lever to turn on and push down to turn off. This operates opposite and takes some getting used to. Second, as another reviewer mentioned the main nozzle is a bit narrow, this causes more splattering than a wider pattern. The bad: First, plastic lines on a $200 faucet is unacceptable, shame on you Delta. Second, on a stainless steel sink the nut pushes the plastic lines against the edge of the sink as it is tightened, cutting into the plastic supply line. Third, because of the close fit of the nut and supply lines the included wrench will not fit on the nut, you need to use a basin wrench. These problems could have been avoided if Delta used the extended nut (second picture) they include on some of their other faucets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The spray shield is an excellent feature! The faucet is beautiful and offers great features. It overhangs the middle of the sink and spins 360 degrees. The spray is powerful and offers a shielding feature that works great, the magnetic retracting spray head seats without drooping and remains snug until needed. This is a great buy that is functional and beautiful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well - Looks great We've had it for about one week. Our plumber had it installed within one half hour. Since our granite is black with grace and rust highlights the bronze finish looks like it was installed by the developer. The handle is easy to work with and has a sweet spot when you shut it down to make sure it's off. The sprays are okay but the special spray is not that efficient. I'd rather had regular stream and higher power old fashions spray. At this point in time my husband is very happy with it and I am as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than I thought it would be. Wasn’t sure the new jet feature would be useful but it works great. Even when cleaning off a spoon, I don’t get splashed with water. High pressure enough to clean off dried foods.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it - Works Great This was install a few weeks ago and we love everything about it. Looks great, high neck makes it easy to use and the controls on the faucet for type of water flow are easy to use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adequate I bought this thinking it would have copper hot and cold water lines They are plastic. I expected more for $180.00. The way the clip that hold the spray nozzle lines together can be easily knocked off if I put something in the cabinet under the sink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice faucet, easy to install Have this faucet for a couple of weeks and it is very nice for the money. Extremely easy to install spray features are good . Minor complaint but not a big issue once you get used to it is the hot/cold water. When you turn the water on the handle only moves about1 1/2 to 2 inches to adjust the water temperature. Once you get used to it it is not a big deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet! We have been very pleased with this faucet. Delta brand is a cut above the competition, the water pressure is excellent, love the cascading flow to clean stuck on food. I wasn't sure if I'd like that feature but turns out that I use it all the time, highly recommend Delta, you won't be disappointed.

Q&A

I was at Home Depot to look at the Leland19978Z-RB-DST in Venetian Bronze but they only had a different model showing the bronze color. Does the bronze color look the same regardless of the model name or does the color vary between models?

Asked by: mary637
Hi, Mary637! Thank you for your question. Our finishes on our Delta faucets may vary in color but only slightly. There should not be a big significance and should match when placed side by side. Best Regards, Rosanna

I found this faucet at Home Depot. #19978Z-RB-DST The color says Leland Bronze. The one shown above says Venetian Bronze. Is there a difference. Also the cost is different $221 and about $425 at a high end store. Quality difference??

Asked by: Debbie
Hi, Debbie! Thank you for your question. Leland is the name of the Delta 19978Z-RB-DST. The faucet finish is Venetian Bronze. This may have been labeled incorrectly. We do apologize for the confusion. The list price for the faucet maybe different from place to place as we let the stores that sell our Delta products set their pricing. All Delta faucets feature the same quality parts, materials, and workmanship, no matter what kind of dealer sells them. Best Regards, Rosanna
