The place where and allen nut should be is a solid metal plug?? So no idea of how to replace the cartridge- what ever the lifetime warranttee means this one's life time was two yrs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sprayer doesn’t last. Causes water damage The sprayer crapped out after 5 years. The handle leaks water and we found a ton of water under our sink puddled. Who knows how long it’s been leaking. We noticed the water puddle/damage and figured out it leaks every time we depress the handle to spray water.

Where is the spec for deck thickness?

I don't see the deck thickness that this and other Delta faucets are for. Is that information provided somewhere? I've noticed that many faucets with escutcheons are limited to one inch or thereabouts of countertop thickness.

smaller handle for side sprayer

the handle for the side sprayer is too large and uncomfortable for my wife. is there a different side sprayer that would coordinate with faucet with a smaller handle?

Hello, we specified this faucet in a daycare (caregiver and toddler sinks) and wonder if there's an option at the toddler sink to prevent the spout from pivoting. Keeping it in a fixed position so it can't be turned onto the counter.

I need to disconnect the spray hose. it is some kind of quick connect with two tabs

I think this a cassidy but I am not sure. The only info I can find is the number 413763 imprinted on the back of the faucet. Thank you.

How do I attach a Brita or PUR water filter to a model 2497LF faucet?

Neither the Brita or PUR water filters will fit this faucet (model 2497LF). I've tried all their adapters and I've gone to 2 hardware stores. It seems the 55/64-27 internal connection is unusual to connect to for a water filter. Is there a part I can purchase to accomplish this. Even a short piece of pipe looks like it should work.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 2497LF does have an aerator with a 55/64-27 thread size. We do not manufacture an adapter for a water filter. We recommend checking with the Pur or Brita company to see if they have any adapters they can suggest.

I would like to use a swivel aerator with this faucet.

The threads (female) in this faucet are smaller than the usual 15/16 size. They appear to be 13/15 and are recessed deep in the faucet. Do you have one that will fit?

My Cold water fow is a lot less than hot. Why? All feed valves are full on.

Hi Gene Porter, Thank you for your question. You may also need to flush out the valve body. To flush out the valve body, first turn off the water supply to the faucet. Remove the handles, stem units and seats and springs. Place a pitcher or bucket upside down over the open valve and turn the water back on full strength for 5 to 10 seconds. Do this on both the hot and cold sides. After the allotted time, turn the water off and reinstall the components. Also, make sure that they do not have any dirt or debris on them. Best regards, Tanya

We have a Delta kitchen faucet which needs the screen cleaned out (water flow is slow due to some type of residue build-up). Our plumber came out to help, but his tools couldn't fix it. He thought he had the proper Delta tool. Do you have any suggestions?

The cashe aerator wrench used for this model used to be RP46858 but has since changed to part number RP52217.
