Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple but well made I got this faucet to replace my existing one in the kitchen after I could no longer fix the leaks. I didn’t want anything super fancy since it wouldn’t go with the rest of the kitchen - this one is simple and more classic looking. But it but appears to be well made and was extremely easy to install. It came complete with all connections, washers and a wrench. Been using for a couple of months and it performs great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Faucet! We love our Delta 400-SS-DST-A-R Faucet! It's easier on our water use and has the modern farmhouse look we were going for in our kitchen. It comes with the sprayer that can be mounted on either side of your sink and it's backed by a 10 year warranty which is a bonus itself. In our line of work building/remodeling homes we use only Delta faucets and fixtures because they last a long time and are made by a company we've come to know and trust and that right there means alot! If you are looking to upgrade your kitchen or bathroom faucets I highly recommend giving Delta a try and you too will be glad you did and your wife will be spending more time than before in the kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid faucet!! This as nice solid faucet!!! It has a really nice brush style finish to it. It’s smooth turning on and off and when you bring the sprayer out it don’t bunch Up it goes back fairly quickly which I like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Faucet! If you are like us and want to spruce up your kitchen without going into a complete remodel I've got the perfect idea... Give your old faucet an update with Delta's 400-SS-DST-A-R, trust me you'll thank me later! It's made by a company we've all known and have used for many years, reduces leak points because of it's design, comes with a matching sprayer that can be put on the right or left side which makes spraying dishes, fruit and/or veggies a breeze. With it being backed by a 10 year warranty why would you want any other faucet other than a Delta? In our line of work building and remodeling homes Delta is the only brand we put in them! Your wife will spend more time in the kitchen that's for sure.

Installation was pretty easy and the faucet itself works well. There are not really any special features though, which is why I only give this product 4 stars.

Turn off your water 1st and and then take off your old faucet and then is pretty simple to put on the new one. you need just a few tool's.It also come's with a sprayer to, which makes it easy to rinse off your dishes and to spray the soap out of your sink.

I like the lift handle to control the temperature of the water instead of having two different knobs to turn. It makes using the sink be a faster process in regards to lifting the lever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Faucet My Husband Just Install My Delta Faucet it is Recertified. It doesn’t look like it’s been used before it is tested by delta to make sure it’s up to high standards. I truly felt that it was good as a new one. It didn’t take him that long to install it but you do need to have some kind of a knowledge to be able to do some handy work. This Single Handle Kitchen Faucet with the Spray nozzle is in Stainless steel. It is very nice, very simple in design but it does give my sink a much better look. It is amazing how something new can give your kitchen a whole different look. If looks very nice.. I do have delta faucets in my bathrooms sinks, it is a company I can trust and I do love their products that’s is why we keep going back to them.

After the necessary tools, protective gear, and silicone were acquired and gathered, the whole process took less than an hour to install (plus drying time). The sprayer is an optional install, and makes a great addition to my setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality I was so impressed with this kitchen Sink faucet. It had very good touch and feel. It was well built and was so easy to install. I now see why my dad always said Delta was the best. I can only compare this to one other Sink faucet that I installed. The hookups we’re so easy and just the way they were made it so much easier to have install. On the topside the faucet and the sprayer were robust and I can see and feel the quality in the handle. The ability to Swivel the Fossett was clean and had no play in the faucet.

While it is vintage, it still functions on one of the very old sinks here that has been dripping forever. The whole room has vintage stuff still in it so when I got this faucet I was excited to see how it would fit in. I made a very good choice for what we have it on. The sink stopped dripping now and we were able to install it easily with no problems. There is something about a functioning sink that really makes your day! Delta is a brand you can trust. The sprayer is handy for washing dishes as well, I use it all the time and would be lost without it.

I bought this faucet a couple years ago. the Side sprayer hose is cracked. the standard replacements do not have the same connection. what side sprayer is the right replacement?

can this faucet be mounted without the base plate?

Can you tell me what the difference is between the 400-SS-DST-A-R faucet and the 400-SS-DST-R faucet? Also what is the length of the plate on each of them?

These models are identical but only differ in that model 400-SS-DST-A-R shows the original version of this faucet in the instruction manual while the other show that a mounting shank was added to the center of the faucet. What is the length of the base plate? Someone wrote 8 1/2" when asked this question, and I think that is incorrect.

I tried to remove the spout on a Delta 400-SS-DST-A faucet and cannot reinstall it due to a washer on the inside that will not realign so that I can push the spout all the way down to its original position so that the bonnet will engage with the treads.
