We replaced the batteries, did a reset, now it barely comes on - there is no pressure, We checked all the things it could be to no avail so we had to put it back into manual mode. I read this on other reviews prior to purchasing but thought we’d get lucky. I should have known better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from LELAND 9178-SS-DST Thank goodness for the lifetime warranty. I have had mine for about 10 years. After about 5 years the cartridge had to be replaced. A couple of years after that I started having problems with the nozzle button. It finally reached a point where it required massive effort to switch between spray and stream. That is when I called and asked for a replacement nozzle.

It started to leak about 2 months ago and is getting progressively worse. For a kitchen faucet to be leaking in so short a time is totally unacceptable. P.S. I'm a retired retired mechanical engineer, so I know what I'm talking about.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Design & Ease of Use & Quality I bought this approx. 9+ years ago and it has serviced us well. It's so easy to use. The only issue we've had was about a yr. ago, water was dripping. We didn't know it had a cartridge. After speaking with St. Tammany Supply where we purchased, we were told it probably needed a replacement cartridge. The recommended a plumber and the same day, he came out and replaced for us. Probably could do it ourselves when needed. The first one lasted about 8+ yrs. - Found out on other bathroom faucets there's a key to remove strainer for cleaning. Today, checking with St.Tammany Supply, they had a key for the bathroom faucets. Wow worked like a jewel. No more toothbrushes to try to clean upside down. Hopefully, there's a key for this one, if not, will have to check assembly. Hats off to Delta. Ours looks as good as the day they were installed with the Nickle finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta 9178 review Pleased with the faucet. Online order efficient. Easy install for our plumber. Some negative reviews noted problems with the dock. Our plumber noted that the dock weight can easily be moved up and secured in a tight fitting under counter space like ours to make the docking efficient and crisp. We have had the faucet only couple of weeks but like it. Much better than the not too old similar, and expensive, Moen we replaced which had chronic leak and loose handle issues and very challenging to work on due to design of access to the handle mechanism.

Definitely recommend for anyone looking to upgrade or replace their faucet with a more luxurious one, this is the one.

The "sleeve assembly" for the handle includes an incredibly cheap/weak plastic piece that breaks easily and results in non-ability to properly secure the assembly to the countertop. Check reviews for RP51481 and see for yourself. 2. Plan on going through multiple cartridges. Again, check on reviews of RP50587.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed…seeking another faucet Loyal Delta customer here with a new kitchen and baths, all with Delta fixtures and the Leland faucet is not only disappointing, but beyond frustrating to use. Just installed by a licensed plumber a month ago, no big deal there, but I cringe when approaching the sink. I share all of the negative experiences as other users, same problem issues. Poor water shut off feature, very low water pressure, poor sprays resulting in a drenched countertop, flimsy hose, leaking, a disaster. I’ve tried all troubleshooting suggestions and I am just perplexed by the good reviews. Hoping to exchange it for something else. I’ve never had issues with Delta customer service, keeping fingers crossed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet, good spray pressure. Highly recommend. Beautiful faucet. I was concerned it would be too tall, but it is perfect. It is the first faucet I've used with a magnetic dock for the spray. I am very impressed. I was worried because some of the reviews on these types of faucets were somewhat disconcerting. We have not had it very long, so time will tell if the hose will always retract properly, but at this point my husband and I are very pleased with this purchase. We chose Delta because that is what the plumber recommended. Since my sink had a hole for a separate sprayer I opted to purchase the coordinating soap dispenser. So happy I did.

Now, the head of the faucet is having issues and the water flow is not coming out as strongly as it should be. It is also difficult to get the water temperature correct. I would have returned it if it wasn't so difficult to install.

I see where you have answered the question about the difference between Model 9178 and 9678. What is the difference between those and Model 19978?

Hello Kathy 61, Thank you for your question. The Delta Leland Pull-Down 19978-SS-DST faucet is a Home Depot exclusive model and it is similar to the Leland 9178-AR-DST faucet. What is the tubing for the pull-out spray made of? I am concerned about the materials as the drinking water is now being consumed from this spray.

Does arctic stainless water spot?

Is there a method to keep the Leland faucet centered on the plate provided to cover the extra sink holes? Mine keeps sliding all over the place leaving a gaping grin were it fits onto the cover plate.

We recommend to tighten the mounting nut for the faucet, under the sink to secure. You may also use a bit of silicon sealant around the plate at the sink base to secure the plate.
