Rated 1 out of 5 by from dripping faucet I have had my faucet for one week now and the faucet drips unless you find the sweet spot and adjust it there. It's a process to turn it off and to remember to wait and set it where needed so it doesn't drip. The other issue I'm having with this faucet is when you pull the sprayer out, the inside of that part is dripping and spurting out water as if it's not tight enough, but that's how it came. Thinking about returning it, but what a hassle to take it apart and install another one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality construction The Delta 9178-SP-DST has been a jfine addition to our kitchen. The control lever and spout swivel smoothly. The steady stream, and spray work nicely as well as the shield spray which creates a strong spray to remove stuck on foods without making a mess.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed in the quality We bought this a little over a month ago. Had it installed by a plumber. Like the style and features. But it is very sensitive when turning it off. If you are not careful to move it to an exact spot, it drips. Have never had this problem with a faucet before. Should be able to just push it up and it turns off. But istead you have to push it up and then a little forward to get it off. Would never put this faucet in a house with children. Afraid it would be dripping a lot. For the price $$$$, I expected better. Very disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as previous Delta faucet Faucet works fine but I don't like the handle back by the base. Previous faucet handle projected towards me and it was an easy reach. Reaching back to the base hurts my back. I also wash my small dog in the sink and I have to fight and repeatedly pull the nozzle all during the shampoo session. There is not enough weight in the nozzle. I try to turn sideways to turn it on but don't have the habit at this time. Very disappointed, I know now not to get a faucet with handle straight up back by the base. Expensive learning purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Issue Resolved We were initially very happy with this faucet, however, once installed the faucet dripped constantly. We contacted Delta directly and a replacement valve cartridge was promptly shipped to us. The new valve cartridge solved the issue. The prompt service from Delta was much appreciated. If we had received a faucet without a faulty valve cartridge we would have given it 5 stars as we are very happy with it otherwise.

Does the aerator wrench RP50815 come with Faucet 9178?

We had the faucet professional installed and I cannot find any such wrench, but the aerator needs cleaned. Do I have to purchase this separately? Thank you.
Asked by: CMPAZ81
Hi CMPAZ81, Thank you for your question. The faucet does come with the aerator wrench. Please check under the sink, as the aerator wrench is designed to clip onto the PEX supply lines. Best regards, Jon

Hello Is the faucet hose made out of braided metal and rubber? I have a latex/rubber allergy and wanted to see if this would work or not. Thanks.

Asked by: Julio
Hello Julio, Thank you for your inquiry! The hose assembly of the Delta Leland Pull-Down Kitchen 9178-RB-DST faucet is rubber with a nylon braided covering. Best regards, Tanya

Does the faucet spray wand return to the dock when you let it go or do you need to push it back into the dock?

Asked by: Barbara
Thank you for your question, Barbara! The wand should be manually returned to the spout when you are finished as it will not retract automatically. The hose weight and MagnaTite docking will ensure that the wand stays secure and in the right position every time. Best regards, Jon

Venetian Bronze Color

Does the Venetian Bronze faucet coordinate with oil rubbed bronze cabinet hardware?
Asked by: Sophie
Hello Sophie, Thanks for your question! It's always a good idea to take the cabinet hardware and other accessories to a Delta Faucet showroom to see if your chosen hardware will match the faucet and vice versa. The color of the hardware will ultimately depend on the manufacturer, so we couldn't say if it would definitely match. However, Venetian Bronze would probably match an oil rubbed bronze finish, but whether or not it looks good together is ultimately up to you. I hope this helps!

Is the pull-down hose long enough for farm sink?

What is the length of the pull-down hose? Is the pull-down hose long enough to reach the bottom and all corners of a farm sink (Kohler Undermount Farm Sink, 9.625" D, 21.625" W, 32.6875" L)?
Asked by: didibaby
Hi didibaby, Thank you for your question. The hose is 54" in length and will provide approximately 22" of reach from the end of the spout. Best regards, Jon

I am concerned with flow rate on this faucet. I have found conflicting info on the flow rate. Some sites say 1.8 GPM while others say 2.2 GPM. I want

I want a faucet with at least 2.2GPM or higher.
Asked by: Carly
Hi Carly, Thank you for your question. The model 9178-RB-DST comes with an aerator with a flow rate of 1.8 gpm. You can order RP53998 which is a 2.2 gpm aerator to raise the flow rate for this particular model. None of our pull down faucets come with a flow rate of 2.2 gpm. Thanks, Dave

Can you reverse the faucet installation so that the on/off lever is on the left side?

Asked by: Michael
Thank you for your inquiry, Michael! We recommend installing the Delta Linden Pull-Down Kitchen 9178-RB-DST faucet with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You can compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button will no longer indicate the correct temperature. Best regards, Tanya
