The only issue we have is that we occasionally have silt release in our pipes (city water) and that silt clogs the faucet head filter which greatly reduces flow. Fortunately, it's about a 5 minute, easy job to clean (after you do it once or twice).

I splurged and went with the electric touch option. Sooo useful! It takes a few days to master. The water temperature light is also a nice convenience. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars because I don't like the plate sprayer/maybe produce washer.

The only problem when it was installed was the little light did not work and they are replacing that. Enjoy the fact that I can touch it on the neck or the handle have it shut on and off instantly.

With a little care and finesse my old faucet hardware came right off and this Delta was a great replacement! Very happy with the look, arctic stainless finish that matches my stainless appliances, and touch and temp sensor.

Word of caution, be sure the sensor wire is free of contact to anything but where it is supposed to be connected. The plumber accidentally left it wrapped around one of the water supply lines and it kept turning on and off by itself. Once it was corrected, it works beautifully!

I completely repiped my home and used different delta faucets. Very happy with them all. But this kitchen faucet makes me smile every time I tap it and it starts and stops with just a touch. The sprayer does clog up quickly with mineral hard water but the tool for cleaning out the final aerator is included and is simple to clean and reassemble. Love this faucet, you will be pleased.

We bought the faucet for our new counter top and under mounted sink. We like to one touch feature. The instructions say it is not supposed to come on when the faucet is grabbed to move it, but it does come on.

Like anything else, it requires a little maintenance such as replacing the batteries (for the touch) maybe once per year and replacing the magnet (on the pull out sprayer which Delta will send you for free and is easy to replace) twice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Parts are rusting and walling into my water I spent nearly $200 on this product and about 6 months into it, my son notifies me that the connection between the sprayer and goose neck pipe is rusting out to the point that rust is falling into our water. I didn't expect this, but things happen. So, I emailed Delta through their website about my problems (included images of the issue) and I ever got a response back. I would have hoped they would have at least told me that this was a known defect in their product. Now, I was sent this feedback form and I wanted everyone to know that there are design flaws in this product. Know about them before you have the product installed.

Will the faucet still work if the owner goes out?? We have ours hard-wired and don&rsquo;t use the battery pack.&nbsp;

Hello Jill, Thank you for your question. The Delta Leland Touch2O Kitchen 9178T-SP-DST faucet is designed to only activate when touched. We recommend to turn the handle to the off position if leaving on vacation or for an extended period of time, but you can leave it on/open for day-to-day use. Best regards, Tanya

The touch on works with battery but it won't work with A.C. power supply. Why?

Hello Spectrum, Thank you for your question. We actually recommend you leave the batteries in the battery box while using the AC power adapter. It is recommended to keep it plug up due to the fact, if there is not enough power it will not work. Best regards, Tanya

We recently installed this faucet in a condominium. When the neighbors use their cold faucets, hot water crosses through our clients 9178T-SP-DST and hot water comes out the neighbors faucets.

How do I dis-assemble the spray head?

Hi, Tom1! Thank you for your question. The Delta 9178T-SP-DST Faucet sprayer assembly can be dis assembled by first unscrewing the sprayer from the hose assembly at the connection. The aerator assembly at the face of the sprayer can be unscrewed with the RP50815 Aerator Wrench. I have re-installed batteries for the faucet. The red/blue lights still do not work Is there something I need to reset? I did switch from AA to C batteries.

I have 15 1/4&quot; from my counter to a a shelf above my sink. Is there a pipe attached to the faucet making it impossible to fit the faucet in the counter opening?

The 9178T-SP-DST faucet does have a spout shank and PEX lines that do have to be installed above the sink so the lines and spout shank can fit through the hole of the sink.
