Your agent asked for the date on the solenoid (2017) and said Amazon has older stock. Delta sent replacement parts for free. This is an expensive faucet. What I want is one that keeps working, not one that I have to repair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Faucet I love the look of the new faucet, and the touch on/off feature is life changing. I LOVE it! The only two drawbacks are that the faucet has really strong pressure, so water is always being sprayed everywhere onto the counter. We can adjust the flow by moving the handle, but I don't like how small the stream gets when I do that. The other thing is the shield feature. I thought it was not supposed to spray too hard and splash, but it still does. It's nothing I can't handle, though.

We have Touch faucets in the kitchen and bathrooms and temperature controlled faucets in the baths. We love them all and have no issues. When we have questions we call Delta and their staff is very friendly and responsive.

So glad we did! While I expected the touch option to be unnecessary, we love it and use it consistently. We will continue to be loyal Delta users!

We decided to buy up to a quality product from a manufacturer with a good reputation, and it is becoming clear that this was the right choice. The spot free stainless finish looks great and really works. The control handle operates smoothly and with ease. The sprayer is another highlight. At times we have low water pressure. The previous faucet never could deal with this, but the delta provides a clean and surprisingly good spray force. The low splash spray pattern is really interesting and sometimes useful. We are very happy with this faucet, good job, Delta!

I did have a corrosion issue with the magnet that holds the spray head...that being said, delta customer service was beyond amazing. A few days for parts to arrive and a few seconds to swap the magnet out and good as new. You get what you pay for and I love this faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad to have a Delta faucet again When we had our kitchen redone in a previous condo, we opted for a Delta with Touch2O technology. We loved it, and everyone who saw it was impressed. When we moved to NC, we spent a few months touching our faucet and being dismayed that nothing happened. When we bought a brand new home here two years ago, it was pre-built, and we didn't have the option on fixtures; and it didn't seem to be cost effective to replace a perfectly good new faucet. When Covid forced us inside, we mounted several projects around the house. One of the last was to replace our kitchen faucet - with a new Delta. We are so happy to have the convenience of Touch2O again. And the technology advances in the last several years are much appreciated....temperature indicator light and spray shield are really nice improvements. And now, of course, we wonder why we waited so long. And this one - I installed myself...not nearly as tough as I had expected it to be. Good job Delta!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing flow rate I love the look and function of this faucet, all except for the flow rate. The flow rate is not as advertised. I have a newer home with good water pressure. I had no complaints with our last Delta faucet, but this one has a noticeably decreased flow rate. In a marked bucket I’m getting just over 4.5 quarts per minute which translates to about 1.2 gallons instead of the 1.8 advertised. This is very disappointing to me.

Thankfully, Delta has a 5 yr warranty on electrical parts. Would hope the average life of this part is better than 1 yr, which prompted the 4 stars. Assuming mine is not common, it would be a 5 star product!

As i hoped all connections of the new model worked with the previous model. Have to say the shieldspray function leaves a bit to be desired. But the touch technology is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This faucet is awesome. This faucet looks great in our kitchen. It is no too large and overtakes the kitchen sink area, but it is fully functional. I like the the finish doesn't really show any spots. After 6 years of faucet ownership I had to replace a the magnet and the water cartridge. However Delta replaced both items free of charge. It's nice to see a company actually stand behind their product warranty.

You don't have to keep adjusting the temp when you are doing things in kitchen and only need to turn off water to conserve. Would totally buy again. Looks so good in my kitchen and have gotten many compliments

Unfortunately, I did have to contact customer service as the valve assembly was leaking and dripping on my counter. I submitted a help ticket to the company and without any further requirements, Delta mailed me a new valve assembly, I installed it and have not had another problem. Delta is a great company with excellent support!

Will the faucet still work if the owner goes out?? We have ours hard-wired and don&rsquo;t use the battery pack.&nbsp;

Hello Jill, Thank you for your question. The Delta Leland Touch2O Kitchen 9178T-SP-DST faucet is designed to only activate when touched. We recommend to turn the handle to the off position if leaving on vacation or for an extended period of time, but you can leave it on/open for day-to-day use. Best regards, Tanya

The touch on works with battery but it won't work with A.C. power supply. Why?

We recently installed this faucet in a condominium. When the neighbors use their cold faucets, hot water crosses through our clients 9178T-SP-DST and hot water comes out the neighbors faucets.

How do I dis-assemble the spray head?

Hi, Tom1! Thank you for your question. The Delta 9178T-SP-DST Faucet sprayer assembly can be dis assembled by first unscrewing the sprayer from the hose assembly at the connection. The aerator assembly at the face of the sprayer can be unscrewed with the RP50815 Aerator Wrench. I have 15 1/4&quot; from my counter to a a shelf above my sink. Is there a pipe attached to the faucet making it impossible to fit the faucet in the counter opening?

The 9178T-SP-DST faucet does have a spout shank and PEX lines that do have to be installed above the sink so the lines and spout shank can fit through the hole of the sink.
