Rated 1 out of 5 by from on/off Touch Activation Does NOT work, I Installed it ( Correctly after the fact) they sent a new Faucet and I had a Plumber install the replacement one, because I thought I may have installed the original one Incorrectly, Plumber installed the replacement on, just Like Installed the original one, and Still Doesn't work, so I would not recommend this Faucet

The water turns on and off by itself which is very frustrating when you are trying to wash dishes or when you can hear it from the other side of the house. I was really excited about this purchase as all the fixtures in our house are Delta and we have had no issues but this is a big disappointment.

I like the features such as stop at touch, and the new water spout feature that reduces splashing of water. I love the color and the style, and it is very well made. Totally recommend it.

Looks great and I like the weight instead of the magnet that kept losing it's power. I haven't used the sprayshield yet so we will see. All in all VERY nice.

In particular, when washing dishes, I find I save a significant amount of water since it's so easy to turn the faucet on and off. Installation was easy as well - kitchen faucets keep getting more DIY-friendly over the years.

I also liked the LED at the base that indicated water temperature. Blue for cold, purple for warm, and red for hot water. This feature was very handy for gauging water temp and preventing scalded hands. Alas, this LED became erratic and eventually quit working after 6 months. The touch feature still works but I sure do miss that LED.

(We also purchased the item so it could be operated from an electrical outlet rather than batteries.) We love the touch on & off and how the color changes on the front panel which indicates the water temperature. The pull out feature is also handy when I rinse out the trash can or have a large pot to fill. It's a very good looking faucet too. Definitely recommend this faucet!

The only problem I encountered was the handle was a little stiff to adjust the water temperature but that may be due to the fact it is brand new. I only purchased it about two weeks ago, otherwise I like the product.

It is stylish, fits perfect in my country kitchen. The best part, however is the touch feature.. so nice when your hands are messy, you can turn it on with a slight tap.

At the base is a temeperature indicator so that when you turn the Hot on and it starts cold, you can watch the temperature rise to Hot. Excellent product.

Although we have only enjoyed the installed faucet for two to three weeks, it has performed flawlessly and we don't miss the watery mess on the granite counter top around the base of our old faucet from operating the handle with wet hands. Installation was a breeze and took less than an hour. Hint: read the instructions thoroughly and do a "dress rehearsal" installation before hand on a carpeted surface to become familiar with components and how they fit together. Delta engineering has done a great job to minimize under sink connections. Highly recommend the Leland faucet with Touch20 technology

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks good in store but suspect quality We installed this faucet in July 2017 during a major kitchen renovation. Within a few weeks the push switch that toggles spray / stream began malfunctioning, allowing dribbling from the spray holes when stream is selected. This could be stopped in the beginning by using more force on the push switch but that no longer works and the dribble now cannot be stopped. I plan to call Delta for direction and will update this post. This is a beautiful faucet but the dribble is super irritating!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great technology but hose won't retract properly after 3 years due to corrosion inside the neck Bought this faucet for our new kitchen 3 years ago. In fact, Touch2O was not available until after our kitchen was finished but we chose to wait rather than put a different one in. For 2 1/2 years plus it worked great. Love the touch technology and have no issues with that. The problem is now the hose will not retract all the way to allow the magnets to reseat it. Started noticing it a little but you could push it up in the neck. A couple months have passed and it has worsened to the point it only is within a half inch or so (kinda hangs out). Touch2O still works fine just frustrating to not have it retract. if you look closely at picture, corrosion is visible on magnetic seat of sprayer head. For the price of this faucet, I would not expect it to have a functionality problem after 3 years. Have a very similar delta faucet in SS without Touch2O in our outdoor kitchen in Houston Texas humidity and after 5 years it still retracts and reseats fine.

Will the faucet still work if the owner goes out?? We have ours hard-wired and don&rsquo;t use the battery pack.&nbsp;

Hello Jill, Thank you for your question. The Delta Leland Touch2O Kitchen 9178T-SP-DST faucet is designed to only activate when touched. We recommend to turn the handle to the off position if leaving on vacation or for an extended period of time, but you can leave it on/open for day-to-day use. Best regards, Tanya

The touch on works with battery but it won't work with A.C. power supply. Why?

We recently installed this faucet in a condominium. When the neighbors use their cold faucets, hot water crosses through our clients 9178T-SP-DST and hot water comes out the neighbors faucets.

How do I dis-assemble the spray head?

Hi, Tom1! Thank you for your question. The Delta 9178T-SP-DST Faucet sprayer assembly can be dis assembled by first unscrewing the sprayer from the hose assembly at the connection. The aerator assembly at the face of the sprayer can be unscrewed with the RP50815 Aerator Wrench. I have 15 1/4&quot; from my counter to a a shelf above my sink. Is there a pipe attached to the faucet making it impossible to fit the faucet in the counter opening?

The 9178T-SP-DST faucet does have a spout shank and PEX lines that do have to be installed above the sink so the lines and spout shank can fit through the hole of the sink.
