Faulty neck design.
The curve of the faucet's neck aims the water flow between the drain and the operator. Subsequently, the operator always gets wet. After visiting the kitchen design center, the girls there have the same complaint.

Nice Delta faucet.
Not to difficult to install but have a helper handy to hold the faucet when tightening down the fastener nuts otherwise get creative to jerryrig a balancing prop to steady the faucet since you can't reach it while under the sink. It waters good and the spray is just fine. The valve assembly is smooth to handle. It is only a month old now but it should work fine for the long haul. It comes with hot/cold tubing to connect directly to the shut off valves so all you'll need comes with the Coranto. I think I'd buy one again.

We have ~~$7k worth of Delta, 4 bath, 2 kitchen. This delta faucet is poorly designed. All control is placed on a small screww that stripped out with less that 3 months use. I would NOT buy this product again. NickSz

Hi. I bought a faucet about 7 years ago that looks very similar to the 9179-DST. The spray head will no longer dock to the spray tube, so I guess the magnet is bad. Can you please provide the part# I need to replace the magnet?

1 The answer to question from Delta7, 6 months ago, states button 2 has a maximum of 1.5 GPM but tech specs and the answer to Subok101 was that the GPM is 1.8. Why the difference? 2. Coranto 9179DST has a ceramic cartridge?

The water pressure coming out of the Coranto kitchen faucet is much lower than expected. (All other faucets in the house are fine). I've removed the screen and cleaned it out. Is there anything that can be done or fixed to increase the pressure?

The faucet aerator can be removed with the included wrench. This faucet is designed to provide a maximum 1.8 GPM @ 60 psi.
Removing the aerator may cause the spray settings to not function correctly and may cause the faucet to not meet plumbing codes.

Hello, I own the Delta Faucet 8507510 "Coranto" Pull-Out Spray Kitchen Faucet. Unfortunately, the sprayer isn’t spraying properly b/c of built up calcium deposits and it’s impossible to get the sprayer piece out. Can I just purchase a new sprayer?

Water from only this faucet smells & tastes like old wet rag after sitting for a couple hours. We cleaned the aerator and soaked the head in vinegar, but the issue persists. Wondering if it is likely the head/hose or beyond just the faucet.

I recommend disconnecting the hose below the sink and using a bucket to flush the supply lines as shown in the installation instructions. See if the issue remains when the water does not go through the sprayer.
Many factors can be involved in odor coming from a faucet:
- water heater anode rod reaction
- stagnant water in sink overflow
- bacterial growth in well water
- variations in municipal water
- foreign matter lodged in the aerator or other areas of the faucet.

My plumber set this up with pushing back for hot and toward me for cold he said that is code so children cant reach to pull hot down. He said if he did it the way the blue/red dots indicate, it wouldn't pass inspection! Now it's wrong.

For the faucet to turn off must the handle be vertical? Water flow on mine turns off at vertical and at all points between hot and lukewarm. If the handle is turned off anywhere between vertical and lukewarm the faucet continuously drips.

We have the 9179-DST in chrome. We bought our home new in 2022. After about a year the lever became loose and no matter how hard I tried I could not get the set screw tight enough to hold it firm. Recently the lever cracked. I need a replacement.
