Great Faucet - but started leaking
Really enjoyed changing to this faucet. More sleek and nice functions and pressure. However, now after roughly 6 months of use, it has started to randomly drop water one drop at a time after being shut off and not in use. This happens hours after use too.

Looks great but awful minuscule water flow.
I got this a year ago when I had my kitchen remodeled. I bought this through my contractor and they did the install. I had them replace it because the water flow was unacceptable to me and them.. second one installed and had a better flow. Now it’s been 10/11 months and the same flow rate (unacceptable) is happening again. I HATE this faucet.

Excellent Faucet for Kitchen Sink
Easy to use with 3 functions: regular water stream, spray pattern, or highly focused for glassware and smaller items. Love that you can fill a pot of water with the pot on your counter and pull the hose and fill it right there. This model does not have any touchless features, which we didn't want as they require frequent battery changes.

Classy Faucet
I purchased this faucet in brushed stainless to install in my newly-remodeled kitchen after doing lots of research. It looks great, is easy to clean and I believe the 1.8 GPM flow is accurate. The magnet holding the spray head seems exceptionally strong and should last. Installation was relatively easy. I'm not impressed with the ShieldSpray; it creates a splashy mess and is a useless add-on in my opinion. My partner and I are still at odds over which way is Hot/Cold. The teeny red and blue temp. dots on the handle are positioned in such a way that is a bit confusing. Overall I'm satisfied with my choice.

Water trickles out
We are really disappointed in this faucet. It looks great but water pressure is really weak. We have had two plumbers try to fix it, and they say it's as good as it is going to get. For what we paid I thought this would do the job. It does not even clean dishes, the sides of the sink, nor can it push a grain of rice down the drain. I wish I read other reviews but the description says 1.8gpm. Not so.

Nice Faucet
Sleek and elegant looking. I was surprised that the hot/cold function are on opposite sides from what I am used to, so still retraining myself). Installed easily (according to my contractor). I like the pull away feature and the magnetic catch ensures the hose and faucet head stay I. The right place when finished using. Arrived within 2 days of ordering. Well packaged. The seller took care to deliver order on time.

Doesnt work as expected
Bought it and immediatley had trouble with water flow and pressure in all three modes. If I take the head off and run the water there is good flow and pressure. Put the head back on and it reverts to low flow and pressure. Its not the aerator. If I take it off and run the water, flow is just as bad as with the aerator on. Only replacement part is an aerator, and that's not the problem. Need a new head. My wife calls for warranty assistance from customer support several times and she is 83rd in line. Highly frustrating. Plumbing supply company says dealing with Delta directly is the fastest route. Wow...

Pretty, needed site modification
A nice faucet, plumber had to unfortunately file down the mounting bracket assembly as it did not fit in the correct orientation. Said it was not the first time for such a Delta faucet, perhaps a QC issue?

Performs well & looks nice!
This faucet has performed very well since it was installed. Like the magnetic lock on the sprayer! The 3 different water sprays are nice and we use each of them. Faucet style looks nice. We were looking for something simple. Highly recommend.

Very well made
This is a very well made kitchen faucet. It is one of the higher flow-rate faucets on the market. It is simple to install, works and looks great, and is reasonably priced for a faucet of this caliber. It comes with an escutcheon plate, so if you are replacing a 3-hole faucet, the plate will cover most hole openings. The weighted, magnetic pull down sprayer works great.

Product worth the price
The 7.5 in distance from base to spout is what I was looking for in order to have space to rinse items in the center of the sink and not have water splash all over my backsplash and counter. The handle is a little bigger than competitors with wider spray coverage, the weight on under sink hose is adequate enough to pull handle right back to position. I have the Moen brand in our other home…want to replace it with this one!

Sleek and Works Well
Have had only a few weeks so far - but working out well. Replaced old, lower neck faucet that was existing. Cannot speak on assembly as we had handyman install but it didn’t seem to take him long. The Spray function takes some getting used to, with the separated spray- it does not come from entire faucet head. However, Sleek- swivels nicely.

Beautiful faucet!
Love this faucet in the oil rubbed bronze. Solid, well built and the color is rich. The diameter of the neck might be larger than some and it does sit very close to our windowsill. Be careful where it is mounted for good clearance of window framing and the sill.

Don't promise shipping if you can't deliver.
Product was great - shipping was not. I get that you can't control delays after passing it off to the shipper - but you promised two-day delivery and didn't even put it in the hands of the shipper for almost that long. Purchased because of the delivery promise, but it was a week in getting to us. Don't offer if you can't make it happen!

Can you lock the toggle to spray or do you have to continuously hold the button in order to get the spray.

Button 1 - Standard Flow Aerator
Button 2 - 1.5 GPM at 60 psi Maximum Aerator
Button 3 - Spray Mode
Note - 3 Function Sprayer returns to position 2 if left in position 1 when
the water is turned off.

How to remove aerator to soak in vinegar to clean hard water deposits? Thank you. I see the small plastic piece to press in, but still can't seem to get it off.

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 9179-AR-DST.
The aerator is unscrewed with the included wrench. Turn counterclockwise when looking up at the aerator. A replacement wrench is available as RP101765.
The spray head can be unscrewed from the hose by pressing the button. See the maintenance section of the installation instructions or a video here:

Pull the handle toward you for hot water and push the handle back toward the backsplash for cold water. In between will be a mix of hot and cold.
