I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! The faucet aerator can be removed with the included wrench. This faucet is designed to provide a maximum 1.8 GPM @ 60 psi. Removing the aerator may cause the spray settings to not function correctly and may cause the faucet to not meet plumbing codes. The faucet lost water pressure from when it was first installed a month ago. What could the reasons be? I tried to remove the screen to see if there was any obstruction but it turns with the tool provided but doesn't come out for cleaning.

We also recommend securing the hose and unscrewing the spray head from the hose to clean out any trapped debris. Is this faucet solid brass construction?

Unfortunately, we do not have a complete breakdown of the materials used in the Delta Faucet Single Handle Pull Down Kitchen Faucet model 9179-AR-DST. In general, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate). The specs say minimum 2 1/2" clearance between the center of the faucet and the backsplash. will the faucet still function with only 2 1/4" space to the back splash

Hello,   I own the Delta Faucet 8507510 "Coranto" Pull-Out Spray Kitchen Faucet.  Unfortunately, the sprayer isn’t spraying properly b/c of built up calcium deposits and it’s impossible to get the sprayer piece out.  Can I just purchase a new sprayer?

My plumber set this up with pushing back for hot and toward me for cold he said that is code so children cant reach to pull hot down. He said if he did it the way the blue/red dots indicate, it wouldn't pass inspection! Now it's wrong.

Seems the volume of water is low at the head end but take off head and water volume is much better. Is the head a water miser? Can I change it so I could increase the volume of water coming out? Our model is Delta Faucet : 9179-AR-DST

Unfortunately, we don't make a different spray head for this faucet. I recommend unscrewing and cleaning the aerator. Flush the spray head for a minute before reinstalling the aerator. What does "no-lead compliant" mean? Is water flowing through the faucet not encountering metals with even a small fraction of lead? Also, what's the rationale for not being NSF certified? Is it simply cost or are NSF requirements too stringent?

Thank you for your question. "No-lead compliant" means our products meet or beat the requirements for state and federal regulations. In this faucet, the water never comes into contact with metals. We recommend wiping any water that splashes on the faucet with a soft dry cloth. We also recommend cleaning any water spots on the faucet with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. For the faucet to turn off must the handle be vertical? Water flow on mine turns off at vertical and at all points between hot and lukewarm. If the handle is turned off anywhere between vertical and lukewarm the faucet continuously drips.
