To flush the Delta Coranto™ Single Handle Pull Down Kitchen Faucet In Chrome MODEL#: 9179-DST, we recommend following the instructions below: Start with the easy stuff: -Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. -If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is.  -Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow.   -If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. -Next, check the supply lines for debris: -Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.  -Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.  -Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket.  Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. -Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge, and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. -After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. There is no other way to clean out the pipes besides flushing the unit. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. Hi frustrated, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 9179-DST. The reflective chrome finish would show water spots, but they can be easily wiped off with a soft cloth or towel.
