TempSense™ Technology measures the water temperature in the faucet. The LED light at the base of the faucet changes from blue to magenta to red depending upon the temperature of the water to let you know when the water temperature is right for you. A/C adapter EP102157 is available to purchase separately as an option to avoid changing batteries. Even if the adapter is used, batteries are still recommended as a back-up if power goes out. Once power is restored, the solenoid valve will automatically revert back to using A/C power. All Touch2O models are water-efficient, underlining Delta's commitment to conservation. The pull-down spray wand comes free with a gentle tug and gives you total flexibility. The hose extends and retracts without friction points, fed by gravity. As you raise the wand to dock it, the magnet embedded in the spout pulls the wand precisely into place. So, unlike other pull-downs that tend to droop over time, MagnaTite® keeps your pull-down faucet looking picture-perfect. Delta's exclusive DIAMOND Seal® Technology uses a valve with a tough diamond coating. InnoFlex® PEX waterways keep water inside the faucet out of contact with potential metal contaminants. Looks good, works fine, devil in the details.
Overall I like the faucet.
These are the issues I have. I regret the finish I chose because finger prints show. The faucet swivels 360 degrees and moves easily which can cause water to run over the counter. The magnetic clip doesn’t dislodge easily so I don’t use the spring pull down like I did on my old one. I use the pull down of the spout.
It looks good. I have a touchless faucet in my bathroom and love it.
The battery operated faucet is nice because it will work when the electricity is off. It’s easy to change.

The faucet is so beautiful but the arm that holds the faucet in place keeps falling apart. It looks like it should just screw back in, but we can’t go a week without it falling out of place, sooo annoying.

Selected after TONS of research!
This faucet has been in our kitchen over two years and we LOVE it. We got the kit to plug it in under the sink so we don’t have to worry about batteries. The light display is helpful for kids to see water temp. I love being able to tap the sink to wash hands when prepping food. I’ll never go back to a regular faucet in the kitchen! The magnet is strong and the sprayer pulls out far enough to easily clean all around our big sink. Great purchase.

We have had this faucet for less than a year. The water flow started going bad about 7 months after installation. We have cleaned the filter as instructed, but no improvement. Very $$ faucet to be having issues this early on. Looks beautiful....not the best function.

Beautiful but inconsistent water
The water flow stops sometimes for no reason while in use (not touched), and does not flow again, even when touched multiple times. Sometimes no water comes out at all when the faucet is turned on. Inconsistent and annoying. This was an expensive faucet to not work as it should.

Junk Faucet
We’ve had an open case for about three months now. The replacement part hasn’t worked. When you include the labor, batteries and cost of the faucet, we could have bought several faucets. We went with all Delta faucets in our home built 4 years ago. While only the kitchen faucet has gone bad, the customer service is so disappointing. What good is a lifetime warranty when they don’t honor it??

We had the faucet installed about 3 weeks ago. So far I love it! I especially love not having as many water drips and drops all over the faucet part of the counter which was especially obvious in our sink / kitchen set up with white counters.
I haven’t had the problems mentioned in the other reviews like the faucet starting on its own or not being able to start it. Right now we are using the battery pack as I neglected to buy the extra bit to plug it into an outlet. After the plumber left I cleaned under the sink and messed with the solenoid a little. Then I did have a few problems. But it got sorted out when I put it into position according to instructions.

We have a the 9659T-AR-DST and the magnetic docking part where the faucet connects to the arm has broken free. We looked for it in the "parts" tab but did not see a way to purchase this. We can provide a photo. Is there a way to order this part?

Will the faucet turn back on in spray function if that was the setting when shut off? Also, will it operate manually if the batteries are dead?

Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you.
Our Delta Faucet 9659T-AR-DST would need to be flushed after installation, debris can move through the supply lines and get caught in the faucet causing the cartridge to not seal properly.
To flush the unit, we recommend the following:
Check the supply lines:
Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.
Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.
Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket.
Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply, then do this with the hot waterside.
Once the flush has been done, please reconnect both water lines. Lastly, insert a small screwdriver into the slot in the button and remove it. Loosen the set screw inside the handle. Remove handle. Remove cap by rotating counterclockwise.
Bonnet may be stiff due to O-ring, but should rotate by hand. Remove the bonnet
nut by rotating counterclockwise with a wrench. Remove the cartridge by
pulling it directly back on the stem. Take a soft cloth and wipe the puck located behind the cartridge, let the cartridge soak in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water for about 10 minutes before reassembling. This should fix the leak you are having, but if you find the issue remains, the cartridge would need to be replaced.

We have the trinsic pro faucet. If we shut off the water using the touch technology it continues to leak. We have to manually move the handle to the off position to avoid leaking. What can be done to fix this issue?

It is possible that a flush could resolve this issue with the TRINSIC® PRO Pull-Down Spring Kitchen Faucet MODEL#: 9659T-AR-DST. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold-water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut-off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the fully open middle position, and then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and repeat with the second line. If this does not help, we recommend replacing the valve cartridge.

Why does this faucet have such a hefty price tag?! It’s nice looking, but the construction and parts don’t warrant that kind of price, unless you’re including installation.

The RP78389 battery box accommodates either 6 AA or 6 C batteries.

I installed the faucet and everything worked. I tapped the handle, it came on/off fine. Put everything away. Now when I tap the handle the blue light comes on, I hear it click on the solenoid but no water. I can use the handle to get water.

Our finishes are not currently tested for use in outdoor weather, but the chrome finish has the best chance of withstanding the elements. Trinis Pro # 9659 - Where do you replace the batteries? I can't see anything that looks like it will hold 6 AA batteries under the sink.

It is possible the LED light will still work if you leave it connected to the faucet after bypassing. It will not read accurate temperatures, however. We recommend removing the entire solenoid if you bypass the faucet.

Can this faucet come with the handle of the left side?

Thank you for your question. We recommend installing this faucet with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front or left side in a single-hole installation, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature.

I have had this faucet for the past 3 years - 9659T-AR-DST. The touch feature seems to be temperamental now and more recently it has stopped responding. I have the AC adapter not the battery feature so I unplug the faucet. How can I fix the touch feature?
Hello, When I use the touch feature to turn off the water, it doesn't fully turn off and there is either a constant drip or sometimes a trickle of water. What do I need to do?
