Tap anywhere on the spout or handle of the faucet with your hand, wrist, or forearm to start and stop the flow of water. Thoughtfully designed to make kitchen tasks easier, Touch2O Technology allows you to turn the faucet on and off with just a touch anywhere on the faucet's spout or handle. Designed for precise, responsive control every time, no matter where you touch. You can easily control and change the water temperature above the deck using the faucet handle. TempSense™ Technology measures the water temperature in the faucet. The LED light at the base of the faucet changes from blue to magenta to red depending upon the temperature of the water to let you know when the water temperature is right for you. A/C adapter EP102157 is available to purchase separately as an option to avoid changing batteries. Even if the adapter is used, batteries are still recommended as a back-up if power goes out. Once power is restored, the solenoid valve will automatically revert back to using A/C power. All Touch2O models are water-efficient, underlining Delta's commitment to conservation. The pull-down spray wand comes free with a gentle tug and gives you total flexibility. The hose extends and retracts without friction points, fed by gravity. As you raise the wand to dock it, the magnet embedded in the spout pulls the wand precisely into place. So, unlike other pull-downs that tend to droop over time, MagnaTite® keeps your pull-down faucet looking picture-perfect. Delta's exclusive DIAMOND Seal® Technology uses a valve with a tough diamond coating. InnoFlex® PEX waterways keep water inside the faucet out of contact with potential metal contaminants. This powerful combination brings you a faucet built to last up to five million uses. Only Delta faucets are equipped with Touch-Clean® soft, rubber nubbins that allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Faucet Received the Delta Trinsic Pro Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology and Spring Spout in Arctic Stainless. I must say this is a beautiful faucet, I was really impressed with how it looks and all of the features. I really like the single handle, the pull down free range sprayer, touch to turn it on and off, the stream or spray option, the light that changes color with the water temperature, the magnet that holds the wand in place, touch clean spray holes, light to indicate when batteries are low, automatic shut off, and the stainless steel finish. I am really going to enjoy using this faucet for years to come. It was fairly easy to install and I have demonstrated it to everyone who has come to visit. I will recommend it to friends and family.

We've reached a point where we don't want the touch feature but there is no information on how or whether we can disable this feature.

Spent a fortune on this faucet to use the touch feature but I have to turn it off and on with the handle as with any regular faucet. Otherwise, it leakes. DO NOT BUY

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great faucet When it works I purchased this in 2017. Within 6 weeks the touch sensor was not working properly. Same issue as many of the reviews here. Delta was great and sent me a new solenoid assembly. Because of the sink size and disposer, it was impossible for me to replace myself, and I paid a plumber to come back out and replace the part. Now about 2 years later suddenly the water flow dropped to a trickle. I tried cleaning but to no avail. Delta was great again, and walked me through getting the water running by disconnecting and bypassing the solenoid assembly. They are now sending me another new assembly. This should not happen on a relatively new faucet. As much as I love the faucet and the touch activation, I can't recommend this product. The customer service department is great and very helpful, but this should not be happening.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Frustrating I’ve had this faucet for two years now and wish I would’ve bought something else! The touch technology isn’t developed well enough for consumer use in my opinion. It constantly turns on and runs forever when you don’t want it to. Then when you want it to turn on, it won’t until you touch repeatedly at the base. Then it will turn off after being on only a few seconds. Trying to do the dishes is a real test in patience. I really wish the product worked better as it was very expensive! I’m not sure what options I have at this point, but this faucet is driving me nuts!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mind of it's own I purchased this faucet with the battery pack only for a new house we were building. That ran out of power and to my horror, I discovered that the entire faucet will NOT TURN ON if the batteries are discharged. To make matters worse, I decided to get the extra part to change this to a wired product - more expense for an electrician and a plumber! So now I don't have to worry about changing the batteries but the real reason I got this faucet was to utilize the touch technology which I thought would be great to keep from contaminating everything by tapping with the back of my hand. However, this faucet has a mind of its own. It turns on and off at will and while trying to clean or use the water it will repeatedly turn off. Not the best thing to happen when you are using the garbage disposal. And if I leave the faucet on to use later, it will simply turn on at will whether I'm there or not. I HATE this thing and if it weren't so expensive, I would replace it. I'm hoping Delta will stand by their lifetime warranty and help me out. It's incredibly annoying to try to use your faucet and have to repeatedly tap it to turn on the water two or three or four times. Sometimes it won't even work at all - seems to need a "rest" between taps. And make sure you turn it off when you are done or else you will find the blasted thing running when you come back into the room.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Performance degrades over time We have had this for about 7 months, and while it works reliably in terms of the touch functionality and turning on and off, over time the shut-off performance has degraded significantly. When it was new, the shutoff was almost instantaneous from when you tapped it, but now there is a significant delay from when it is tapped until the flow of water actually stops. I believe this is a reliability issue that is coming about through regular use, because we have one of these installed in the kitchen that we use every day which exhibits the slow shut-off behavior, and another one in the basement laundry room that we only use rarely and still shuts off quickly. So, it is a good idea and a convenient feature, but I would not recommend buying this due to the reliability issue of the performance degrading over such a short time frame (7 months).

We were hoping a Delta faucet at this price point would work. However, this is not the case.

We have had it for 3 months now and had to replace the batteries 4 times, it turns off by itself and won’t turn on at times. Now I am dreading cooking and washing dishes because it won’t even turn on unless I jiggle some wires underneath the sink! I should’ve gotten the old fashioned faucet. Would’ve saved me the headache!

After two or three months, the faucet drips unless the lever has been moved to the off position. If we didn’t have this drip, the stars would be 5, because it is quite handy when cooking and my hands get messy. I can just touch the faucet with my forearm or elbow and it comes on.

It is solidly built. The touch on/off feature is awesome. The water temperature light at the base of the faucet adds another level of coolness. Overall, we are very very pleased with this faucet upgrade.

It only turns off with the handle. In addition to this, pressure is low as many others have indicated. I contacted Delta regarding these issues and have not received any response. Poor customer service

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pressure is very low...not useful to wash dishes Even though the faucet looks very nice, there are 2 main problems with it: (1) the water pressure is very low, making it inadequate for kitchen use, since you need pressure to wash dishes effectively, and (2) when you turn it off with touch, the faucet drips (the drip doesn't stop until you actually turn it off with the handle).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even prettier in person! I was having my house repiped and decided what a great time to get rid of the old pull out faucet that was showing signs of wear. I went back and forth between Delta and Moen but I ultimately chose Delta. As a disabled person, I have little or no use in my right hand. The touch, is a godsend. Being able to see the temperature changing is a plus. The faucet is striking and makes the whole kitchen look redone. I added a pot filler faucet too and so glad I did.

The water pressure is so low with this faucet compared to the one it replaced and it constantly drips unless it is manually turned off. The touch feature wasn't working tonight as I was trying to do dishes. It just wouldn't turn on so I tried leaving it sit a few minutes and tried again. I had to do this a few times to get it to work again. This faucet was so expensive and is really just terrible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Has a mind of its own. I was hesitant to purchase this faucet, but friends of ours highly recommended the touch feature. Upon installation, it was clear from the beginning that our was a little off. First, the water pressure is drastically lower than the previous faucet installed. After about a week, and similar to other reviewer's experiences, it began turning on at random, even in the middle of the night, 5-6 times per day. Sometimes it will shut itself off after a few minutes, other times it needed intervention. In other instances only a manual shut off would turn it off, not the touch feature (same was true several times when using). We have now had it over a month, and when the touch feature is on, the faucet slowly drips when turned off. You need to manually turn it off to make it work. So much for spending the extra money for the touch feature. It was a total waste and sad to read that the warranty is so limited (and will cost a bunch to have someone come out to fix it). For a $750 product that is supposedly market-leading, you would expect Delta to stand behind it better.

Unfortunately after it was installed the touch tech started malfunctioning and would not turn on reliably and consistently. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Design, horrible functionality Maybe my wife and I are one of the few that have experienced the "ghost in the faucet" but this thing has really disappointed me. Like a couple of other reviews on this site, the faucet seems to have the uncanny ability to not function correctly.(i.e. turning off/on randomly, not turning on/off when touched.) I have replaced the batteries (after 1 month), checked all the connections multiple times, tested for ground...still a problem child. Not sure what to think of this faucet right now because we really love the look and idea of it, but the functionality right now is driving me crazy.

So far it has come on once by itself. I ordered this faucet through Home Depot's website. The first order I received just a faucet in the box.! It did not have any of the parts (an included parts list sure would of been handy). Glad I opened it before plumber got there. Ordered another one, this time it was missing the counter weight for the pull down hose and 3 batteries. Very frustrating to say the least. Delta is sending me the weight but the batteries I was in my own. Very poor quality control!!!

We change the battery out on this faucet. Afterwards we tried turning on the Fossett and there is very low pressure now. I tried to turn it on manually by disconnecting D batteries while the water was on but still low pressure now. Please help

Hello Bbender, Thank you for your question regarding the Trinsic Pro Pull-Down Kitchen 9659T-AR-DST model. To flush out the valve body, so that these parts do last as long as possible, please first turn off the water supply to the faucet. Gather an adjustable wrench, some towels and a bucket. Disconnect the hot side Innoflex line. Move the handle to the full on position, middle temp. Point the hot side Innoflex line into a bucket. Turn on the cold supply valve full. Let a gallon or two flow into the bucket. Shut off cold supply. Check bucket for debris. If no debris, empty bucket and run one more time. Move handle to off position. Reattach hot side line. Turn on both water supply valves. Best regards, Tanya

Can this faucet be mounted with the control level facing directly toward the sink / user?

Is Artic Stainless like a brushed nickel?

The Delta finish Brushed Nickel is a matte brushed finish, which matches most Stainless Steel finishes closely and has warmer tones, with more red in the color spectrum, whereas Arctic Stainless is a lighter, cooler metallic tone where blue is more predominant. where are the batteries
