Touch on. Touch off. With Touch2O® Technology, it doesn't matter if you have two full hands or ten messy fingers. Tap anywhere on the spout or handle of the faucet with your hand, wrist, or forearm to start and stop the flow of water. Thoughtfully designed to make kitchen tasks easier, Touch2O Technology allows you to turn the faucet on and off with just a touch anywhere on the faucet's spout or handle. Designed for precise, responsive control every time, no matter where you touch. You can easily control and change the water temperature above the deck using the faucet handle. TempSense® Technology measures the water temperature in the faucet. The LED light at the base of the faucet changes from blue to magenta to red depending upon the temperature of the water to let you know when the water temperature is right for you. A/C adapter EP73954 is available to purchase separately as an option to avoid changing batteries. Even if the adapter is used, batteries are still recommended as a back-up if power goes out. Once power is restored, the solenoid valve will automatically revert back to using A/C power. All Touch2O models are water-efficient, underlining Delta's commitment to conservation. The pull-down spray wand comes free with a gentle tug and gives you total flexibility. The hose extends and retracts without friction points, fed by gravity. As you raise the wand to dock it, the magnet embedded in the spout pulls the wand precisely into place. So, unlike other pull-downs that tend to droop over time, MagnaTite® keeps your pull-down faucet looking picture-perfect. Delta's exclusive DIAMOND™ Seal Technology uses a valve with a tough diamond coating. InnoFlex® PEX waterways keep water inside the faucet out of contact with potential metal contaminants. This powerful combination brings you a faucet built to last up to five million uses. Only Delta faucets are equipped with Touch-Clean® soft, rubber nubbins that allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Flaky faucet We built a new house and installed this for our kitchen. It turns off on its own constantly, we've had to replace the battery three times in eight months. We've reached a point where we don't want the touch feature but there is no information on how or whether we can disable this feature.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faucet drips - DO NOT BUY It drips constantly unless handle is in the OFF position. Very disappointing as this keeps happening over and over. Spent a fortune on this faucet to use the touch feature but I have to turn it off and on with the handle as with any regular faucet. Otherwise, it leakes. DO NOT BUY

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great faucet When it works I purchased this in 2017. Within 6 weeks the touch sensor was not working properly. Same issue as many of the reviews here. Delta was great and sent me a new solenoid assembly. Because of the sink size and disposer, it was impossible for me to replace myself, and I paid a plumber to come back out and replace the part. Now about 2 years later suddenly the water flow dropped to a trickle. I tried cleaning but to no avail. Delta was great again, and walked me through getting the water running by disconnecting and bypassing the solenoid assembly. They are now sending me another new assembly. This should not happen on a relatively new faucet. As much as I love the faucet and the touch activation, I can't recommend this product. The customer service department is great and very helpful, but this should not be happening.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Frustrating I’ve had this faucet for two years now and wish I would’ve bought something else! The touch technology isn’t developed well enough for consumer use in my opinion. It constantly turns on and runs forever when you don’t want it to. Then when you want it to turn on, it won’t until you touch repeatedly at the base. Then it will turn off after being on only a few seconds. Trying to do the dishes is a real test in patience. I really wish the product worked better as it was very expensive! I’m not sure what options I have at this point, but this faucet is driving me nuts!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! The faucet has been installed for about 3 months now with no issues. The build quality is nice and matches the price tag. The touch on/off functionality was new to us but we really like the convenience.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mind of it's own I purchased this faucet with the battery pack only for a new house we were building. That ran out of power and to my horror, I discovered that the entire faucet will NOT TURN ON if the batteries are discharged. To make matters worse, I decided to get the extra part to change this to a wired product - more expense for an electrician and a plumber! So now I don't have to worry about changing the batteries but the real reason I got this faucet was to utilize the touch technology which I thought would be great to keep from contaminating everything by tapping with the back of my hand. However, this faucet has a mind of its own. It turns on and off at will and while trying to clean or use the water it will repeatedly turn off. Not the best thing to happen when you are using the garbage disposal. And if I leave the faucet on to use later, it will simply turn on at will whether I'm there or not. I HATE this thing and if it weren't so expensive, I would replace it. I'm hoping Delta will stand by their lifetime warranty and help me out. It's incredibly annoying to try to use your faucet and have to repeatedly tap it to turn on the water two or three or four times. Sometimes it won't even work at all - seems to need a "rest" between taps. And make sure you turn it off when you are done or else you will find the blasted thing running when you come back into the room.

Can the handle be mounted in the middle as opposed to the right side?

Asked by: Keith Wayne
Hello Keith Wayne, Thank you for your question. You can install the Delta Trinsic Pro Touch2O 9659T-DST faucet, with the handle in the front. The spout rotates the full 360 degrees and is not affected by the handle position. Be aware of the fact the the handle will then pull toward you to turn on, with hot to the right, and cold to the left. Best regards, Tanya

how do i do clean sprayer assembly (partialy clogged )

Asked by: Thomas
Thank you for your question, Thomas! The wand on your Delta model 1993-SD-DST has Touch clean spray holes which can easily be wiped by hand to remove mineral buildup. If the issue is inside the wand, you can remove the wand and pour a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water inside to help break up deposits. Please contact us by calling our customer service team directly at 1-800-345-3358 Monday-Friday: 8a.m.-8p.m. EST and Saturday: 9a.m.-6p.m. EST or via email at Best regards, Edward

will faucet function without batteries?

Asked by: Kam
Hi Kam, Thanks for your question. There are two ways you can use the faucet without batteries. You may purchase an EP73954 Power Supply to use instead of the batteries, and you can also switch the faucet to manual mode by turning the water on by touch, then disconnecting the battery box (or power supply). Best regards, Jon

If you remove the nozzle from the dock and aim the wand at a particular direction, can you let go of the wand and will it support itself without dock?

My faucet is mounted too far back from a comfortable position to use because of the odd shape of the double sink. I would like to aim the wand more to the front and let it go to use both hands.
Asked by: Marty
Hi Marty! Thank you for your inquiry! The wand assembly of the Trinsic Pull-Down Kitchen 9659T-DST is not designed to hold a position outside of its mount or holding (by hand). Best regards, Tanya

do you have a soap dispenser to match this faucet in arctic stainless?  Besides the touchless one recommended previously?

Asked by: Kimmer
Thank you for your question, Kimmer! Although we do not have a specific model intended for the Trinsic collection, we design our dispensers to stylistically compliment many of our collections. The closest recommended model would be the Signature model RP1001AR. Below is a link to our Arctic Stainless soap dispensers we currently offer. Best regards, Edward
