Touch on. Touch off. With Touch2O® Technology, it doesn't matter if you have two full hands or ten messy fingers. Tap anywhere on the spout or handle of the faucet with your hand, wrist, or forearm to start and stop the flow of water. Thoughtfully designed to make kitchen tasks easier, Touch2O Technology allows you to turn the faucet on and off with just a touch anywhere on the faucet's spout or handle. Designed for precise, responsive control every time, no matter where you touch. You can easily control and change the water temperature above the deck using the faucet handle. TempSense® Technology measures the water temperature in the faucet. The LED light at the base of the faucet changes from blue to magenta to red depending upon the temperature of the water to let you know when the water temperature is right for you. A/C adapter EP102157 is available to purchase separately as an option to avoid changing batteries. Even if the adapter is used, batteries are still recommended as a back-up if power goes out. Once power is restored, the solenoid valve will automatically revert back to using A/C power. All Touch2O models are water-efficient, underlining Delta's commitment to conservation. The pull-down spray wand comes free with a gentle tug and gives you total flexibility. The hose extends and retracts without friction points, fed by gravity. As you raise the wand to dock it, the magnet embedded in the spout pulls the wand precisely into place. So, unlike other pull-downs that tend to droop over time, MagnaTite® keeps your pull-down faucet looking picture-perfect. Delta's exclusive DIAMOND™ Seal Technology uses a valve with a tough diamond coating. InnoFlex® PEX waterways keep water inside the faucet out of contact with potential metal contaminants. This powerful combination brings you a faucet built to last up to five million uses. Only Delta faucets are equipped with Touch-Clean® soft, rubber nubbins that allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Selected after TONS of research! This faucet has been in our kitchen over two years and we LOVE it. We got the kit to plug it in under the sink so we don’t have to worry about batteries. The light display is helpful for kids to see water temp. I love being able to tap the sink to wash hands when prepping food. I’ll never go back to a regular faucet in the kitchen! The magnet is strong and the sprayer pulls out far enough to easily clean all around our big sink. Great purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from We have had this faucet for less than a year. The water flow started going bad about 7 months after installation. We have cleaned the filter as instructed, but no improvement. Very $$ faucet to be having issues this early on. Looks beautiful....not the best function.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful but inconsistent water The water flow stops sometimes for no reason while in use (not touched), and does not flow again, even when touched multiple times. Sometimes no water comes out at all when the faucet is turned on. Inconsistent and annoying. This was an expensive faucet to not work as it should.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Faucet We’ve had an open case for about three months now. The replacement part hasn’t worked. When you include the labor, batteries and cost of the faucet, we could have bought several faucets. We went with all Delta faucets in our home built 4 years ago. While only the kitchen faucet has gone bad, the customer service is so disappointing. What good is a lifetime warranty when they don’t honor it??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Protrinsic Touch We had the faucet installed about 3 weeks ago. So far I love it! I especially love not having as many water drips and drops all over the faucet part of the counter which was especially obvious in our sink / kitchen set up with white counters. I haven’t had the problems mentioned in the other reviews like the faucet starting on its own or not being able to start it. Right now we are using the battery pack as I neglected to buy the extra bit to plug it into an outlet. After the plumber left I cleaned under the sink and messed with the solenoid a little. Then I did have a few problems. But it got sorted out when I put it into position according to instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommend this faucet We really like this faucet. We paired it with a 33” sink and with the sprayer, it reaches the edges of the sink. We added the voice control which I don’t think is worth it… by the time you tell Alexa to do something you could have done it yourself. But the faucet itself with touch control works great. And I really like the light that indicates the water temperature and the sprayer works great.

What specific material is this faucet made from?

7$552, Thank you for your question. The body, spout, and handle are metal. We do not have a complete breakdown of materials, but the faucet has brass, Zinc, and stainless steel components and non-metallic components. Best regards, Jon

Can the handle be mounted in the middle as opposed to the right side?

Hello Keith Wayne, Thank you for your question. You can install the Delta Trinsic Pro Touch2O 9659T-DST faucet, with the handle in the front. The spout rotates the full 360 degrees and is not affected by the handle position. Be aware of the fact the the handle will then pull toward you to turn on, with hot to the right, and cold to the left. Best regards, Tanya

how do i do clean sprayer assembly (partialy clogged )

Thank you for your question, Thomas! The wand on your Delta model 1993-SD-DST has Touch clean spray holes which can easily be wiped by hand to remove mineral buildup. If the issue is inside the wand, you can remove the wand and pour a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water inside to help break up deposits. will faucet function without batteries?

Hi Kam, Thanks for your question. There are two ways you can use the faucet without batteries. You may purchase an EP73954 Power Supply to use instead of the batteries, and you can also switch the faucet to manual mode by turning the water on by touch, then disconnecting the battery box (or power supply). If you remove the nozzle from the dock and aim the wand at a particular direction, can you let go of the wand and will it support itself without dock?

My faucet is mounted too far back from a comfortable position to use because of the odd shape of the double sink. I would like to aim the wand more to the front and let it go to use both hands.

Love this faucet but very concerned how do you clean the coil if debris gets in the nooks? Does the coil remove?

The coiled spout arm of the Delta Trinsic Pro Pull-Down Touch2O Kitchen 9659T-DST has Touch clean feature which can easily be wiped by hand to remove mineral buildup. You can pull-out the hose assembly and use a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to wipe down and clean of any debris or particles.
