Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replacement Replaced same model that was 16 years old. Noticed some changes. Water comes out noisier. Replaced braided stainless steel hose with a rubber one. I hope it holds up as well as the previous one. The brushed nickel finish looks almost like stainless steel.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Satisfied and it's a Waste of Money. The faucet had a modern design. Unfortunately, when I installed the faucet I was surprised the way the Standard Flow of water was very "LOW". I do not know what's wrong with my new faucet.

The cartridge needs replaced repeatedly and only lasts maybe a year before it starts leaking again. The finish (as you can see in the photos) didn't last at all on the venetian bronze finish. The connection to the pull down sprayer is rusting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t last long Needed a new cartridge after a year. Delta said they would only supply 1 for the life of the faucet. A year later the new one is failing and the screw to remove the handle to replace the $50 cartridge has seized so the faucet need to be replaced. Garbage.

How do you clean a pull down spray attachment that has a blockage both in stream and spray mode?

Hi Eddie, Thank you for your question. You can soak the wand assembly of the Delta Leland Bar/Prep 9678-SP-DST faucet, in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water to help clean the mineral build up, be sure to rinse when done. Best regards, Tanya

what do the initials mean following model # e.g. 9678 sp-dst or 9678 ar dst

I want to replace a bar sink faucet with a 4 inch spread. Can I get a spotshield plate to fit a 4 inch spread for this faucet?

Hi, JRW2020! Thank you for your question. At this time, the only escutcheon plate that will fit the Delta 9678-SP-DST Faucet is the Delta RP47274SP Escutcheon Plate which is 8" centers. We live in an area with a lot of minerals in our water. I would like to replace the entire faucet head piece; however, the tubes, faucet structure, weights and magnet are all fine. How can I go about ordering only a replacement faucet head?

How does this faucet (model 9678-SP-DST) differ from model 9178-AR-DST/? They seem to be identical.

Thank you for your question, Linda! Model 9678-SP-DS is the Bar/Prep version of the Leland kitchen faucet. 9178-AR-DST is the kitchen version in the Arctic Stainless finish whereas "SP" indicates the SpotShield Stainless finish. Both models are similar, however the bar prep version is shorter at 14 1/2" (368 mm) high whereas the kitchen faucet measures 14-7/8"(378 mm) high. Best regards, Edward

I would like to take off the faucet head because it has begun to spray - I assume build up is inside the head. I see the little piece you can push in but it doesn't want to come apart from the hose easily. Is there a trick to take the head off?
