Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1908 Farmhouse Renovations I inherited my family's 1908 Farmhouse and among the antiques is the house was a kitchen sink installed in the 1950's. After many years, the kitchen sink was in need of update so I selected the Delta 9678T-DST Leland Pull-Down Spray Kitchen Faucet with Touch Clean, Touch20, MagnaTite Docking and Diamond Seal Technology. I cannot say enough good things as it has become the centerpiece of the kitchen remodel.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not sure it was worth it To start off, I like the design, the pull out sprayer, the touch, etc. I really want to love this faucet but it has to many flaws. I had to replace the LED light and the solenoid all in the first month. Customer service was great and they actually tried to troubleshoot with me before sending me replacement parts. But, finding out parts are not working after professional installation, what a pain. It's not easy to take this back off to replace the LED light and I don't want to pay the plumber to come back out just to replace the one part. So, if everything is working correctly I would recommend this faucet. I would recommend plugging the LED light in and checking to make sure it works before tightening and final installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Professional Review Being in the plumbing industry for over 15 years, It is a great faucet easy to install and maintain. The customer service from delta has always been great getting parts out to me and local representation in the LA area. For those who do buy a touch faucet and have a metal sink, ( stainless, cast iron, ect.) you must make sure that the shank does not touch any part of the sink insulate with something if you cant install with out it touching the metal. Otherwise the touch feature will short and will not work. I have one and installed one in my mothers house who's has a hard time with arthritis and work great. On hers i had to insulate the shank it kept touching the sink.

How to clean the sprayer?

We are having issues with the Leland series bathroom faucets and the aerator clogging up from our well water. You were so gracious to send the tool I was missing to remove the aerator on my 3 bathroom faucets so I can clean them out. All working like new again. So just to see the same tools works on this kitchen sink, removed and cleaned out much better water flow. My question is how do you clean out the sprayer part of the Pull Down faucet? Also on the spa tub Leland faucet the parts list does not show any way to take off the aerator to clean it, does it need a special tool like the others?

Hi Donna, Thank you for your question. You can clean the wand by unscrewing it from the hose to check the back. You can soak the head in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution and flush backwards through it with water. The high arc Leland Roman Tub Faucet T2775 uses the stream straightener, which takes a wrench tool, RP52593. The stream straightener on lower spout model T2778 will unscrew by hand. Best regards, Jon

Does the check valve have to be straight up or can it be installed horizontally?

When used as a bar/prep faucet for RO water can it be used with only a “cold RO”  coming from the under sink RO system?

Can the touch20 technology be hard-wired instead of using batteries?

Hello Mark, Thanks for your question! If you have a touch faucet manufactured in 2015 or after, or you have the Generation 3 Solenoid, you will be able to use the EP73954 power supply to connect your Touch 2.0 Technology Faucet to the house electrical current. I hope this helps!

This faucet

The head of this faucet holes is stooped up, you said to soak it in white vinegar and water, you didn't say for how long and is there a way to open it up to clean it out? Need an answer asap please. Thank you Lena Pittman
