We had had a motion activated one at our other home, which we loved, but if a fly flew over it just right it would turn on and waste water. I thought the touch would solve that issue, which it has. My issue is with the spray shield. It doesn’t seem to work like it shows. It also only runs for a short time and then it cuts off just as the water is getting warm. I wish you could adjust how long the water ran before turning off.

I bought this in December 2019 by the end of Jan 2020 it needed a new cartridge .I called them up and in about a week it came .I installed it and it works 200% better .I now do not have to look for that sweet spot in order for faucet not to leak or turn on and off repeativly until it finally would stop dripping. This was a replacement for a Moen and I like this a lot better easy to install.

It has work off and on over the first few weeks then I had to resort to disconnecting the batteries and reconnecting to get it to work. Now we just use the lever the touch feature has died. Tried contacting service but couldn't get anyone to pick up. So I sent emails still wait for a response to them.................... been weeks. Should have bought a Moen

It was exactly what I was looking for in the kitchen, no more germ covered hands on the faucet and it was working great for the first two months. Then it started shutting off randomly. We replaced the batteries as needed and even with brand new batteries we are still having the issues. Turn the faucet on and it shuts right off. In the middle of washing a dish and the hot water shuts off. Washing your hands and the water turns off. VERY frustrating. Getting ready to disconnect the touch feature and just use it as a normal faucet...a very pricey normal faucet!!!!

Never have to turn the water on with messy hands, just touch faucet with your wrist or back of you hand. However, after being in our new house for less than a year, the touch feature stopped working out of nowhere;the solinoid had to be replaced. I spoke with Delta customer service and was sent the replacement part within a few days. Very easy fix, but and worried how long this one will last.

This faucet has great water pressure and cleans things well. It is easy to clean because it has an anti-fingerprint finish. We love this faucet and would highly recommend it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Flaky features I really wanted to love this faucet, but it's had a lot of trouble. It looks great and the water pressure and touch-function is fine. It does seem to burn through batteries quickly, but I can live with that. I had it professionally installed, but after a few months the LED stopped working when the water was cold. Then a few weeks later it stopped when it was hot. I talked to Delta and we tried to troubleshoot it, but ultimately Delta replaced the solenoid. That unfortunately meant completely uninstalling the faucet, which I paid a plumber to do...again. A few months later the LED stopped working for cold water again. I decided to ignore it since it still warns when it's hot. But now the faucet takes forever to change temperature. I'll push the lever from cold to hot, and then need to pull it back and press it to hot a few times to get the temperature to change.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked really nice for 60 Days Took a chance and bought this very expensive faucet about 90 days ago even though I read some of the customer reviews where people were complaining about the faucet turning on and off randomly when it was turned off. Initially I didn't have any issues but this particular problem started after about 60 days and I thought maybe I needed to change the batteries in the cabinet below but that didn't help one bit. I regret getting this because I feel it will turn on in the middle of the night or when I'm not home. So far I've gotten no answers from Delta but would appreciate some help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisfied, thus far! After doing extensive research on a replacement kitchen faucet, I decided on this one from Delta. Initially, I was looking into a touch-free faucet which cost about $100 more, but decided against this after reading customer reviews that if the power went out the faucet would not operate. So, I decided to go with the Delta '9178T-AR-DST Touch2O' based on Delta's reputation, the faucet's features including the magnetic docking faucet head, diamond water seal, and touch on/off control. Before making my purchase, I also read many reviews from other buyers of this faucet to get their feedback on their experiences and any recommendations they shared. Three very helpful suggestions were to zip-tie the coupling clips to ensure they would not unintentionally pop off. Also, the use of an outer hose to fit over the faucet water line prior to flushing the faucet which would give better control of catching the rinse water into a bucket outside of the sink cabinet to keep it dry. Finally, purchasing the optional plug-in power supply adapter was recommended by several buyers who said that it made the responsiveness of the "touch on/off" feature of the faucet more consistently reliable without the need to fumble with replacing batteries. All these suggestions were quite helpful for me. As for the operation of the faucet that I installed about a month ago, I am very satisfied! The instruction manual and on-line Delta manufacturer's video helped prepare me for a straight-forward and clean installation. All of the faucet's features are working as advertised and expected. The weakest feature that I have experienced is the "shield spray" which is both weaker in operation than I would have preferred and must be held very close to whatever I am spraying to avoid splashing; otherwise, "shield spray" doesn't reduce splashing much more than the other operating spray functions do. I also wish that the plug-in solenoid power adapter was included with the faucet when you buy it rather than the battery pack feature as a matter of convenience, but I understand that not all purchasers of this faucet necessarily have an electric outlet located under their sink as I do and that the battery pack is their only option. Finally, the tubular specialty wrench that is included to secure the faucet to the counter top is a true blessing to have and made the 'trickiest' part of my installation so much easier. Time will tell whether or not the "Leland Touch2O" I purchased will live up to Delta's promises. At this point, I feel as though the quality of the product and its components will stand the test of time. Should I need future warranty assistance, I trust that Delta's customer service representatives and Delta will stand behind this product.

Its only flaw is inconsistency in the touch feature. Most of the time it works as designed, but sometimes the touch feature does not respond, and other times it's way too sensitive. All members of our family have the same experience. At first I considered exchanging the faucet; but overall I like it well enough to put up with this one weakness.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not What Was Expected We bought this faucet a month ago and unfortunately the shield spray feature that we paid about $100.00 extra for is simply not what is advertised or promoted. First, the water pressure with the entire faucet is much weaker than our previous faucet which makes it hard to wash food away. Because of that, the shield spray feature doesn't actually provide additional assistance to actually wash food away. Additionally, the 'shield' on the shield spray doesn't form a large circle as advertised. It may be a defect in our faucet but it still causes spraying.

This is a great product and works beyond my expectations. I did have a issue with a solenoid and Delta sent a replacement out without question. Unbelievable customer service, I identify the problem and have the replacement parts here within days.

Does the check valve have to be straight up or can it be installed horizontally?

This faucet

The head of this faucet holes is stooped up, you said to soak it in white vinegar and water, you didn't say for how long and is there a way to open it up to clean it out? Need an answer asap please. Thank you Lena Pittman

Can the on/off control valve be left in the on position continuously and only control the water flow with the touch feature?

What is the part number for a 4&quot; center (approx. 6&quot; long) escutcheon plate that matches a Delta Leland 9678T -ST-DST faucet with Spotshield finish? And where can I order one?

The touch on works with battery but it won't work with A.C. power supply. Why?
