Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient! Beautiful! I love this faucet! Touch anywhere on the neck or the lever and the water goes on and off. The sprayer head does not turn it on or off, which is wonderful. I got the spotless version and it is! I have been using it for a couple of weeks and I have not had to "clean" it or wipe it down for prints or water stains and we have hard water. I would highly recommend this faucet. We bought the cord separately to plug it in to the outlet instead of thinking about replacing batteries. We had the electrician add more outlets under the sink to be able to use it this way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delta Touch Faucet Overall, we're pleased with the look and the operation of the faucet. It was a relatively simple installation although with a two bay sink, garbage disposal and water filter system, the wires, hoses and pipes under our sink are a little crowded. The "touch" feature works well, perhaps too well. It would be nice to be able to reduce the sensitivity a little bit. Too often and "incidental" touch, or even water splashing on the faucet turns it on/off. One specific complaint regarding the faucet. The battery pack included is cheap and poorly designed. Not what I expected for a faucet that sells for just under $400. The lid on the battery box has tabs that flex to "snap" into the box body to hold the two parts together. Unfortunately, there is no "snap" that truly occurs since the tabs barely go into the holes. This is a problem since you have to depress contact springs from the lid onto the batteries in the box. The pressure against the lid, forces the top back off. This is a particular problem if the lid pops off while the remote valve is in the off position (the faucet becomes inoperative until you dig thru all the junk under your sink to reconnect the battery). Additionally, the lid has screw holes to mount to the wall inside the cabinet, but since the lid barely stays attached to the box, there is no way to mount it. Bottom line, the battery box looks like something you would get with a $30 kids toy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from LED issue Our 9178T-DST was installed in November 2015 by a plumber as part of a kitchen remodel. We continue to have issues with the LED light feature. The same plumber replaced a part under warranty within the first year and said he was told that part (the ring with the indicator light, I believe) is not to get wet?? LED feature worked for a short bit and has been out since. New batteries have not solved it. Wire is not loose so I believe connection is good. The LED was a factor in buying this faucet but has been disappointing. Please advise.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sporadic Functionality We had this faucet installed in April as part of a full kitchen renovation. For the first 6 weeks or so, it worked phenomenally. I loved the ease of leaving the physical faucet lever to the "on" position and using the tap to turn it on and off. I love the LED indicator light that shows water temperature. I also like the auto-off feature for when the water is running for a long period to prevent accidental overuse. However, since June, we have been having problems with the faucet turning on randomly in the middle of the night, it shutting off sporadically during use. When using the faucet, taps will not always turn it on or off. Sometimes you cannot get the faucet to turn on at all, using the physical lever or the tapping feature. I spoke with customer service who made suggestions about moving the wires and solenoid to make sure there were no crossed wires or other causes to these behaviors but the problem has not been resolved. Very disappointed from what I know it can be and was when we first had this product installed- it WAS awesome but now is a big headache.

I ordered it online and we couldn't be happier! I also love the temperature changing LED light. It's awesome and we are thrilled with it. Absolutely love it!!

I get water behind the faucet all the time from the splash. So far I’m happy with the touch option but we have only been using it for a month. Probably wouldn’t buy it again but I guess that’s what I get from ordering online.

After many years, the kitchen sink was in need of update so I selected the Delta 9678T-DST Leland Pull-Down Spray Kitchen Faucet with Touch Clean, Touch20, MagnaTite Docking and Diamond Seal Technology. I cannot say enough good things as it has become the centerpiece of the kitchen remodel.

Looks great and I like the weight instead of the magnet that kept losing it's power. I haven't used the sprayshield yet so we will see. All in all VERY nice.

Does the check valve have to be straight up or can it be installed horizontally?

This faucet

The head of this faucet holes is stooped up, you said to soak it in white vinegar and water, you didn't say for how long and is there a way to open it up to clean it out? Need an answer asap please. Thank you Lena Pittman

Can the on/off control valve be left in the on position continuously and only control the water flow with the touch feature?

What is the part number for a 4&quot; center (approx. 6&quot; long) escutcheon plate that matches a Delta Leland 9678T -ST-DST faucet with Spotshield finish? And where can I order one?

We recommend to turn the handle to the off position if leaving on vacation or for an extended period of time, but you can leave it on/open for day-to-day use. Best regards, Tanya

The touch on works with battery but it won't work with A.C. power supply. Why?
