Rated 3 out of 5 by from it's fine enough Installed one of these 15 years ago. It's been a fine faucet. The little cap that covers the set screw was lost almost immediately. Today I replaced it with the same faucet and what do you know, the little plastic cap doesn't fit to cover the set screw at all. HOW have you guys not figured out in 15 years of selling this thing that the little plastic cap doesn't fit into the set screw. The shape is completely different. I tried to glue it but I'm definitely losing it into my garbage disposal eventually. The rest of the faucet is good and fine. Just a super annoying lapse in attention to detail.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delta Kitchen Faucet The faucet is nice but I can definitely tell the material is lesser quality than the one I purchased 18 years ago. You can tell that the materials aren't as good, much lighter weight. But it works as expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy install, great magnetic docking. Have owned the Leland kitchen faucet for 3 years. It matches all the Leland faucets in my bathrooms. Could only cut off water from cold side. When cut off from middle or hot it would leak. Lived with it for 3 years and finally solved last week by replacing cartridge. Delta recommended flushing supply lines but my plumber felt cartridge would solve problem and it did. Sorry I waited so long to get it repaired. Delta has always provided great customer service and free replacement parts for all faucets and shower valves over the 16 years I have owned my home. I highly recommend Delta products.

In the researching I noticed a few comments about the company backing their parts! The sent me the cartridge and just put it in! Easy and fast!

The Pex Tubing Lines Were Very Easy To Align and Cut With My Husky Pex Pipe Cutter. No Teflon or Copper Connections. No Leaks Either.

The handle has a set screw and no longer stays tight. Believe threads in handle are stripped. Can I purchase a new handle?

Is this significantly smaller than model 9178-AR-DST?

I need a regular kitchen sink faucet as well as a smaller bar sink faucet. It has been difficult to find both in the same collection. I like the 9178 for the regular sink. How much smaller is the 9978 than the 9178? Will it truly work for a bar sink, which is quite a bit smaller than a regular kitchen sink?

I have a Leland 978-SS-DST. A couple of years ago it began to drip. You sent me a replacement Cartridge (RP50587) which fixed the drip but now its dripping once again. Can you send me another?

How to replace the diamond cartridge on 9978-RB-DST? Where is it?

Hello Valued Customer, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! We apologize this information was not readily available to you and we are happy to help! Please shut off the water supplies, and gather your 1/8" allen wrench, wrench, and strap wrench before we begin. 1. Shut off the water supplies. 2. Cover the drain opening so parts don't fall into it. 3. If you have a lever handle with a red and blue hot/cold button, pry it off with a non-metal object to expose the set screw. A library card works well. 4. Loosen the set screw with a 1/8" hex wrench and remove the handle. 5. Thread the sleeve counterclockwise. This is the part the handle is sitting on. 6. Remove the valve cartridge, making sure the bottom gasket comes out with it. 7. Inspect the valve cartridge for debris. 8. Install a new valve cartridge, aligning tabs on its bottom with divots in the valve. We appreciate your inquiry. Please reach out directly if you have further questions! This is the faucet that I currently have. It won’t stop leaking without fiddling around with the handle. You have to get it just right, and sometimes this take a while! Is this faucet warranties and can I get a new cartridge for it?

Could this be used as a normal kitchen sink faucet?  What is the difference between the two?

On the 9978 will that work if the 2 holes are 5 inches apart instead of 4 inches. Also is there a champagne bronze sink hole cover available.

Hi- the Leland Bronze faucet handle is faulty. You have to get a perfect spot for it to not leak. What part do i need to fix this?
