The only problem is to quit spraying my self - not used to how high the faucet is above the sink. Would definitely recommend to anyone that needs a faucet in this color for the kitchen. Very classic looking.

The color is a dark brown but you can see lots of coppery streaks coming thru from underneath. Just the colors I was looking for. The spray nozzle seemed a little stiff at first when pulling it out for use, but is loosening up with use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to Control Hot Water Pleased with overall quality of purchase. My one concern is that it is very hard to adjust the temperature of the hot water. In the normal set up temp is too hot and trying to adjust is not very easy. You have an internal switch you can set that limits the travel of the handle to the hot water side but that is almost useless as that only allows you to have luke warm water. You have to be very careful as you could scald yourself in the normal setting.

The design is beautiful and delivery was fast. Also, I changed my mind about the color on my first order and this company refunded all of my money, except for the return postage. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weird Design The inner cylinder threads of the handle are slightly too short, therefore, the handle mechanism will pop off as it's not secure to the counter. We ended using poxy to seal it firmly to the counter.

The spout handle is great, as I can pull it out to refill water, etc. Highly recommend...also the finish on it is quality, antique looking, etc.

Does the spray function continue without requiring continual hold of the button?

Hi Jen, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9978-AR-DST does not require you to hold the button down to change from spray to stream. It will stay in the spray mode until you switch it back to stream even after the faucet is turned off.

What escutcheon plate can be purchased for a 978-AR-DST, to go from a four hole to a two hole

Hi C, Thank you for your question. The 978-AR-DST offers an escutheon to go from a 2 hole to a 4 hole installation but unfortunately does not offer a 2 hole escutcheon. The spout and valve are 2 separate pieces. Thanks, Dave

can i keep the faucet head from spinning>

is there any way to stop the faucet head from spinning all the way around? i dont see the point of having it facing 180 degrees from the sink, and my 5 yr old son thinks it is a water gun.

Robin, thank you for your post. I have to admit, I chuckled at the joy your son must feel when he turns the faucet into a toy. Having a 6 year old, myself, I can relate to that! With that said, unfortunately there is not a stop that can be installed to restrict the swivel of the 360 degree spin.
