What is the maximum deck thickness for installation?
What is the maximum deck thickness for installation? The spec sheet says 1 1/8" but I saw a post that this had been increased recently to accommodate thicker granite installations?
Hi Frustrated, Thank you for your question. In response to the trend of thicker counter top surfaces all of the recent and new wide spread lavatory faucets have a max deck thickness of 2-1/4". We offer the RP10612 for the models that need additional thickness.

Thank you for your question! Out of the box, this unit works with a maximum deck thickness of 1 1/8". However, the RP10612 extension kit will add an extra inch to the maximum deck thickness.

Even since install the hot and cold handles do not lie completely straight when in the off position. How do you adjust it?
Thank you for your question, embiidphila! The placement of the handles will rely on the valve orientation. If the base of the handle is not appropriately placed then the lever will also stop short of center. Please refer to diagram A and B in section 1 of the maintenance and installation manual for instructions. For further assistance, please contact our customer service team directly at 1-800-345-3358 Monday-Friday: 8a.m.-8p.m. EST and Saturday: 9a.m.-6p.m. EST or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

How can I adjust the handles so they stop when turning them
When I add the bonnet under the handle the handles do not catch on the stops so the handle goes all the way around. Is there a way to adjust the valve up or should I not use the plastic bonnet on top of the valve cover?
Thank you for your question. Please refer to diagram B in section 1 of the instructions. Please make sure that the top glide ring (5) is installed with the flat side face up. Please also be sure to press the handle (6) down until it is flush with the handle base (7).
Please also make sure that the top retainer (8) is threaded all the way down onto the valve. You may need to loosen the mounting nut to thread the retainer.

How do you remove the filter from the spigot. We have a new construction and when we turned the faucet on for the first time it was blocked with debris. No tool was provided to remove it.
Thank you for your question. Based on the "Maintenance" section of the below Maintenance/Installation document link, page 4. It states that you can pull out the stream straightener out of the end of the spout, with a long nose plier. This tool would not come in the box with the faucet.

Distance from spout to deck
The spec sheet on the 3553LF shows a distance of 2 5/8" from end of spout to counter/deck. Is that correct? Screen shot attached.
Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the 2 5/8" is the correct distance from the end of the spout to the counter-top/sink, for the Delta Vero Lavatory 3553LF faucet.

In 2012, was the GPM 1.2 which they are currently 1.5 this year?
The water flow is very restricted. I see the product has a 1.5 GPM. In 2012 was the GPM 1.2?
Thank you for your question. The Delta Vero Lavatory 3553LF faucet had a flow rate of 1.5 gpm at 60 PSI in 2012. To comply with all states current plumbing codes and restrictions the flow rate of this Vero faucet converted to 1.2 gpm at 60PSI, starting July 1, 2016.
