We will be happy to assist you in resolving this issue as quickly as possible. We do not provide a long tailpiece option, however locally you should be able to find adapter parts. You will need to purchase a slip joint extension tube in either 1-1/4" or 1-1/2". You will also need to purchase a 1-1/2" to 1-1/4" reducing bushing. These are compression-style fittings that compress onto the pipe to secure, not thread on. These are available at most hardware stores or home centers, not through Delta.
