Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bellini Faucet very nice. This is a very nice looking, easy to install faucet. Sadly I had to replace my other faucet that was not that old because of failure. My understanding was a lifetime guarantee on these products. Delta did send me another spray unit but it did not work so because it was a kitchen and I'm married I had to replace it promptly. Hope this one lasts longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The design of the Delta Bellini series makes it difficult for the consumer to install a spray attachment to the faucet spout. Owner problem after installation of the Delta Bellini series faucet. After installing the faucet I discovered that the faucet spout uses a metric thread for the aerator that is supplied with faucet spout. That means there is no way to install a typical aftermarket spray nozzle to replace the aerator without buying a Delta thread conversion adapter (part # RP 51505). Even more annoying, the all-plastic thread adapter I received from Delta was extremely difficult to install. Other faucet manufacturers do not use a metric thread in their faucet spouts. This may be the last Delta product purchase for me.

Also, not sure if something is wrong or not or if it wasn't adjusted correctly, but the water pressure is great on the sprayer, but almost non-existent on my faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great brand, great faucet! Me and my wife needed a new faucet (our old faucet started leaking a lot around the movable faucet area). I started doing research and fell in love with this faucet. The design is simple, elegant and would work perfectly for our kitchen's 3-hole granite counter top. We purchased it and I installed it. Since a lot of the parts are proprietary, I had never done an install like this before. It was a bit of a task, but if you follow the directions step-by-step, it's pretty straight forward. Everything will fit perfectly and it's all a tight fit (no leaks at all the first time) and at the end... it looks great, works great and the wife is happy! I highly recommend this faucet, if it fits your counter's specifications. Another great thing that I want to point out is that it has a lifetime warranty guarantee! Wow. Awesome for the company to do this. It gives me peace of mind IF anything does happen to this faucet, it's backed by the company. Thank you for a great a product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handle Issue The handle has broken after approx 1 year. Not a very good design or construction. On the good side Delta is aware of the issue and will replace it without to much hoopla. I have delta on all my faucets in the bathroom and and they have not had an issue. I hope they fix this one flaw.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from would not recommend this faucet This is a beautiful faucet but I would not recommend it for the following reasons: 1) The handle on this faucet is extremely temperamental. We have to be careful how we shut off the water so it will not drip. We have to move the handle down and slightly to the left, instead of moving it straight down like most faucets. My kids do not take the time to find the 'sweet spot' where it doesn't drip so I frequently find the faucet dripping. 2) It is hard to find the warm setting on the handle. Hot water comes out automatically if we lift straight up on the handle instead of warm water which is annoying. 3) The handle and sprayer leak a little bit of water occasionally during use which causes hard water stains to form around that area. 4) The water pressure is too strong which causes water to splash out of the sink. This has caused hard water deposits to form on my granite countertops and water damage to the window sill above the sink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better engineered and better built than the competitor. I have had Moen, Delta, and Peerless faucets over the last 30 years. In 2001 we installed a new Moen in our kitchen. That faucet has been a nightmare, despite city water and a whole house water filter, the Moen seals failed regularly. In addition, the Moen handle had a poorly engineered and sloppy connection that required regular tinkering and parts replacement because the faucet wouldn't turn off properly. Moen sent me a completely new faucet 2 years ago and it has the same problems. Because of the excellent quality of the Delta faucets in our bathrooms, I bought a new Delta kitchen faucet with the DST seal system. I installed it several weeks ago--what a difference! The handle fits well, there is no slop at all, and the water flow from both faucet and sprayer are much better than we ever had with the Moen. Time will tell with the new seal technology, but I am hopeful since it is designed to cycle ten times more than other comparable faucets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall, Great Product I would purchase the again. The installation was incredibly easy - the designers clearly thought this through. Removing the old faucet was far more difficult. Areas for improvement would be: 1) the ease of alignment of the faucet - it's difficult to determine if the alignment was correct while under the sink, hence it's a little crooked and at some point I'll have to try it again with someone watching up top, and 2) the handle seems a little wobbly - hopefully this won't be an issue longer term.

I looked at hundreds of faucets (all Delta) before falling in love with the Ballini. My husband had it installed in less than 30 minutes and it's just the finishing touch to our mini makeover.

The one issue I had was that the instructions were not clear as to which gasket to use on the spout and which to use on the handle. Once gasket has adhesive on it and the other does not.

The faucet seems to be good quality so far, and the features are nice with the single handle and sprayer. The stainless finish does show marks more than other finishes, similar to stainless appliances - difficult to get spotless. The faucet was very easy to install for the plumber. So far, so good!

When adjusting the water temperature it is either very hot or cold. I have ordered a new cartridge and will change it when it arrives, that may do the trick.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Notice after installation it constantly drips. Biggest problem we are having now is sprayer just stops working. We purchased this item from Lowes here in Tampa fl. Its the Delta - Bellini / 11946-SSSD-DST. I did a quick refresh to kitchen after several years changing sink as well. Started off amazed at now easy install was. Then started noticing it tends to drip if you don't firmly pull handle down, figured id learn to live with this. But starting this week if you use sprayer it will pulses and then water will stop. If you release sprayer no water will come out of faucet till you turn off then back on. Sometimes you have to turn on and off more than once to get water again. Is this a simple fix or is unit defective, please advise. Anyone dealt with this and how do i fix. Id like to give this a 5 Star rating, but first month 2 issues not sure i picked wisely at this point. Thanks in advance Daniel N.

Thus far I am very well pleased with the look, the feel and the quality of this faucet. Ease of installation was a big plus. So far I am very happy with the product. It looks great in my kitchen. I've only had it a little over a month so I can't comment on longevity yet. So far, I'm completely satisfied. I think I made the right choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and contemporary design This Delta faucet replaced another Delta faucet that was fifteen years old. Instead of ordering parts I opted to purchase a brand new Delta faucet and have not been disappointed. The quality is excellent and it functions very well in my kitchen. I did have it professionally installed by a certified plumber but I am sure anyone with a little plumbing experience would be able to install it easily. I highly recommend Delta faucets and this particular faucet goes well with any kitchen decor.

Our product had a integrated tighten down handle which facilitated tightening down the main faucet unit under the sink. We had it installed by didn't feel it was snug enough to the sink. I was able to improve fit without tools. Very slick. Would purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet I'm very pleased with the faucet. The quality for the price is great. Installation was a breeze. I really liked the way all of the water lines snapped together with no leaks. The hand sprayer is powerful which is a plus, my previous faucet sprayer was weak. My only issue was with the stud that holds the handle assembly wasn't pressed in correctly so the handle assembly base doesn't sit completely flush on the counter top but it's not really noticeable once it cover was installed over it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Spigot design is excellent. The handle, well not so much I love the height, shape, and operation of the spigot. The handle just doesn't cut the mustard. It's always been somewhat hard to operate, the throw is quite short and for some time it has not wanted to shut off. If you don't hit the sweet spot of getting the side to side throw back to vertical, the faucet drips/runs with a stream. If I could get a new handle that worked, I'd give this a 5 star. The handle is just designed poorly.

The only thing that is taking some getting used to is that there is a fine line between scalding hot and cold, a problem we didn't have with our previous model.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks nice but maybe not sturdy Purchased in April 2015 at Lowes and the handle leaks and does not allow for a easy tight fit when placing it on the valve. We have had on and off problems since we purchased. Also the hot/cold indicator button that covers the allen screw. holding the handle on, does not want to fit easily and will come out. We have replaced the indicator button once already. I wish this had turned out better as we switched to Delta from Moen after recommendations and now we are purchasing new bathroom fixtures and are afraid to stay with Delta.

My delta faucet model #11946-SSSD-DST handle is very loose making it very hard to turn the water totally off so it doesn’t drip Any suggestions? Or do I need to replace faucet?

Can a different aerator be installed on this faucet in order to cut down on the splash?

Water comes out so hard and "streamed" that it splashes out of the sink and all over the place.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 11946- SSSD-DST has an aerator with a flow rate of 1.8 gpm at 60 psi. There a couple of factors that can affect splash into your sink. If your sink is too small to handle the arc of the faucet, then the water will splash out of the sink. If the water is turned on too hard, then the water could splash out. If you would like lower flow aerator, you can purchase one with a lower flow. RP60729 flows at .5 gpm. RP72676 flows at .35 gpm. RP63886 flows at 1.0 gpm, and RP60983 flows at 1.5 gpm at 60 psi. Any of these aerators will work with your existing faucet.

Can you install without the spray nozzle on older models

The one I have does not have the plug to eliminate the sprayer. It has a tee fitting. Is there an adapter that can be purchased.

Hi, Jerome! Thank you for your question. The older Bellini faucet (11946-SSSD) does not have a plug to eliminate the sprayer. For the newer Bellini faucet, (11946-SSSD-DST), the plug is available to eliminate the sprayer. The plug is RP54269. Best Regards, Rosanna

Why does the aerator drip water from opposite sides. Removed several times and no change. Unit does not have an o-ring or gasket. Also does not look like the replacement aerator shown in the parts list.

is it possible to hook up a portable dishwasher adapter to faucet?

No, the spout is too wide. I had the same problem years ago and discovered several solutions. I installed a T between the hot water valve and sink supply line. Then I attached a second valve to the T that allowed me to connect the portable dish washer. I connected mine permanently by running the dishwasher hose behind the cabinetry. If that is not an option for you, the second valve could be turned on when the portable dishwasher is connected and off when it is disconnected.

I want to install a swivel head on the end of the faucet

On my old very similar Delta faucet, I was able to install a swivel head on the end of the faucet that could either flow or spray. The threads on this new faucet do not alow that. I want to know why this one was made this way, and also if there are any swivel heads available that I could install.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 11946-SSSD-DST has a cache hidden aerator. We do manufacture an adapter that will convert your faucet to a 55/64" - 27 male thread faucet. You should be able to add a swivel aerator to it then. The model number is RP51505, and it can be purchased at your local retailer or wholesaler.
