Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser in Chrome

Hello Chris Sorry your faucet is leaking. I am happy to help. DST DRIP - RP50587 We have tested this cartridge and found that it should last up to 1 million cycles under normal use. However, over time, debris in the water can cause a drip by preventing a water-tight seal under the gasket on the bottom of the cartridge. Please turn off the water supplies under the sink, loosen the set screw, remove the handle, then unscrew the cap and bonnet. Wipe the bottom of the cartridge and the valve where the cartridge seats with a soft cloth, then reinstall the cartridge. Please tighten the bonnet nut hand-tight plus a 1/4 turn with a wrench. Through normal use, and depending on the water conditions in your area, the RP50587 cartridge may need to be replaced. It is also possible that there is sediment or debris in your faucet if your faucet drips from the spout. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Our SpotShield Stainless was released in 2017; however, model 16970-SSSD-DST was released in 2008, so it does not have the SpotShield technology. Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. The faucet itself does not have a temperature adjustment, We normally recommend the hot and cold to be open equally at the shut offs, and the hot water heater to be set at 120 or lower.
