Great looking product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my faucet since September and I am completely satisfied.
I was concerned about the magnetic locking system but it works just fine.
I have a deep sink and I like the pull down sprayer on this product.
It's much easier to rinse my sink after cleaning it as well.

So far... an excellent product
I did spend a couple of hours removing the old fixture and cleaning up the "footprint" of mung and residue it left on my stainless steel sink, before I could begin the installation of the Kate fixture, which does not have a plate to cover the top surface of the sink around the holes where the faucet, spout and soap dispenser protrude from. So the entire project took a good part of a day. (But I work slowly and carefully to avoid mistakes.) The installation instructions were pretty clear and understandable, but I did have to call the help line 3 times during the installation to get clarification on certain steps. The response time in all cases was fairly quick - matter of a 2 to 4 minute wait, which helps when you are in the middle of a project like this! And the help line staff was thankfully able to understand the details of the questions posed - they are apparently well-trained in their products! In one case, however, I wound up doing something differently from the recommended action, once it became apparent how the parts were going together. But overall, the installation went well, despite the very cramped and crowded conditions under the sink, which is a testament to the care Delta put into the design for ease of installation!! Due to the cramped conditions I wound up not installing the ring weight used to pull the spout hose back to a fully retracted position, or else it would have been banging on one of my shutoff valves every time the hose is released, which would not bode well for the long-term leak-tightness of the valve. Thanks to the magnetic catch that holds the hose in place, the weight isn't really needed. It is no bother at all to gently raise the hose back to the retracted position where the magnet finishes your action by pulling the hose nozzle into its seat. I followed the instructional guidance as closely as possible, and to my sheer delight, when I re-opened the shutoff valves, absolutely NO leakage or drippage anywhere! I continued to monitor under the sink for the start of leakage for almost a week thereafter - nothing! It is very important to remove the spout nozzle as called for in the instructions, because the first slug of water to come out was absolutely black, before it cleared up. Let that get flushed out so as not to get caught in the fine orifices of the nozzle, potentially clogging up your brand new faucet. The product has worked flawlessly for about 3 weeks since installation, and really improved the looks of the whole sink area. Here's hoping it stays this way for a long time! Also pleased that the soap dispenser can be filled from the top, and it is easy to monitor the soap level in the bottle with a flashlight. I would offer a suggestion, however, that the spout on the soap dispenser should be longer to allow it to more easily reach items you want to add soap to. (We use it to contain dish soap - not hand soap.) In fact if the spout could "telescope", so that it could be made shorter and temporarily out of the way when you are trying to wash a large pot, that would be ideal.

Love the product but it leaks
Why does the faucet leak at the connection with the clip every time it's turned on? Am I missing something at that connection? I love the faucet but have to keep a bucket under the sink to catch the leaking water

Stainless Faucet Spotty
The spray pattern and switch from stream to spray are very good. The magnetic connection for the extendable nozzle is a little finicky, as the magnets have to be properly aligned to catch.
The stainless does spot very easily, but overall decent faucet.
We had troubles with the installation (done by a contractor) the warranty parts/services were helpful in getting us replacement parts that were broken.

This product is not worth the money.
1: The mounting mechanism is not very good.
2: The cartridge wears out frequently.

Great product and great style
As a single woman, I was most thrilled that I was able to install this faucet ALL BY MYSELF!! And I LOVE it. The design is a nice, updated style that looks current in my kitchen. I really like the magnet attachment of the flexible/removable hose, and I like that I can change the water pattern from shower style to direct flow with the flip of a switch right on the faucet. Great product!

This product is sleek, attractive, and easy to install.
I purchased this product to replace a competitors faucet that didn't last 5 years and their warranty support let me down. We found this faucet and have come to love it. The features such as the magnetic head and switch for regular or shower flow are excellent addition. Installation was the easiest I have seen. Great job on this product!

The product has some very quality features
When I went looking for a new faucet I wanted something that was durable, long lasting, easy to install, and was easy to repair.
I must say that the faucet is great so far. The only challenge I had was the installation, but that was probably due to being anxious to get the faucet in and running.
Thank you for a great product.

Great faucet
I've been using the Delta Kate for a little over a month and so far love it! I was concerned about the magnetic attachment of the sprayer, but it locks in tight without issue. I expect that to continue and for that reason, give the faucet the highest marks.
Installation was very easy. The ability to place the handle separately from the spout is a nice feature PLUS, the soap dispenser makes for a complete set. My only wish now is for Delta to have a beverage faucet that matches for my filtered water spout.

TOTAL JUNK !!!!!
I paid $229 thinking this would last 20 years. Well it has been less than 2 years it drips all the time (so much for the Diamond technology) Now I can't get any hot water out of the darn thing. Only cold and the water pressure is low now on the cold side. Great pressure at the shut off valve hot and cold. I wish I would never bought it. Menards had a Delta rep in the store that day I bought it talked me in to buying it.

Nice faucet, difficult to install
I like the faucet now that it is in, but was very difficult to install. The single mounting stud for valve component is at perimeter of component. That may be fine for some sinks, but I have a Kohler cast iron (which is very common by the way) in which the holes on top are slightly beveled. The off-center mounting design pulls one side of the component down into the bevel when tightening the stud, causing the component to be cockeyed, not vertical. This makes it impossible to install yourself. I had to have a second person on top firmly hold the top part while I tightened from below to keep it straight. A simple faucet install should not be this difficult. Designers should test install on different brands of sinks. One other small beef. The free weight idea for helping hose retraction sounds good in principle and maybe works well in lab, but in real world there is a lot of stuff under the sink that interferes with the weight. You have two water supply lines, two shutoff valves, a drain and trap, a garbage disposer, a power cord coming from disposer to plug on back wall, a drain hose running across from dishwasher to drain pipe, and then, of course, the consumer wants to use this space as well for storing cleaning supplies. With all of that stuff under there, the free weight concept just does not work well. The saving grace here though is that the Delta models have the magnets to hold head in spout so you don't need to depend on the weight. That is the main reason I went with the Delta. They are only ones with the magnets to hold head firmly in place and that is the reason I still recommend it.

I really like the design and performance of this faucet.
Overall, this is a great product. Two issues with the product. The water temperature is difficult to adjust--either too hot or too cold. Need to adjust the handle ever so gently to get the temperature correct. Also, the soap dispenser is difficult to fill. When starting to refill the soap spills all over the sink if I am not careful. Also, it is very difficult to tell how much soap to add to refill the dispenser without if overflowing. Overall these are things I will get used to the more I use it, but a little annoying none the less.

Amazing faucet
We have been using for about 6 months and love it. Magnetic docking is great, keeps pull down in place. This pull down does NOT feel cheap as with other pull downs. I have chrome and it cleans easily. My 4 year old grandaughter can use & replace pull down with ease and loves the faucet. Asked her mother to buy one for their house. That makes it all worth while.

Very very nice faucet
I love this faucet. Couple of things. We have a very deep sink, actually a set of 2. This faucet works best with a deep sink, as you can pull down the sprayer/spout and it won’t splatter all over the counter. You can work deep in the sink. I like the high arc, as you can fit most anything under it. I like the magnetic pull back in place, as this tidies up the area. I wanted and had actually first bought the Touch one, but it did not have the lifetime warranty, so I returned it for this one. I do like it and I like the finish. I would say the only thing I find just a tad bit wrong is if the item I want to fill won’t fit in the sink under it, the spout pull out is difficult to get at a higher angle. So, you first have to pull out the hose, put it in the thing you want to fill, then hang on to it, then turn on the water. Overall, I would buy this again and really love it.

Almost Perfection
I love this faucet! Pull down style with magatite connection and a simple switch to change from stream to spray...this is the perfect type of faucet. Love the stainless steel finish, wears really well. My only suggestion would be to make the handle so the travel from off to full power was a longer stroke, it would make it easier to find the right flow position.
