Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not user friendly!! This is the first Delta faucet I am very disappointed & unhappy with. It is a nice design & looks great but, there are several things that are not user friendly about it. First of all the handle is made where it needs to be pushed back to the center in order to fully turn off. If not the water will continue to drip. The handle also is a little stiff, it takes a little more effort to turn on and off. My prior faucet turned on & off very easily with no effort to maneuver it back & forth. Another problem I find, is that the 'weight' is like no weight at all. It is just a plastic ring that slides up & down the hose. My prior faucet's weight was adjustable. I was able to position & secure it to the hose. It also was metal & heavy. It weighed enough to pull the hose & sprayer back to the faucet. With this Delta one, I have to literally push the hose back into the faucet. I do not like this faucet at all and wish I bought a different one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from doesn't shut off easily Very hard to always shut it off. This has been since initial installation which was done by a professional plumber. Have had it a couple years now and it still is totally frustrating. So many times it drips or is on unless you really pay attention and make sure it is shut off in just the right way. Very very disappointed and now looking for a new faucet that works well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought it again after 10-yrs in hard water. great! I installed this faucet about 10 years ago. We have extremely hard water and the water caused most of the problems with this faucet. Yesterday I purchased the same model and installed it. Works great. Sprayer is a bit different than the old one. Too bad this model is discontinued, maybe it will still be available at Lowes. Seems like a lot of the bad reviews are due to operator error, with some folks not knowing what they are doing or failing to read the instructions. Since this is my second purchase I must have been happy. Purchased at Lowes 6/14/2025.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice finish The finish is nice, the soap pump is really bad, have changed it 3 times in a few years, the head is difficult to clean with hard water. A larger aerator would be an improvement, the power stream works well and it's a good idea, the spray (shower) is spread too wide and doesn't cover the center so you're moving it back and forth to cover the center. The soap pump is the most irritating part of the whole thing. The customer service is good if the control valve leaks, I had to replace mine and customer service was very helpful. If I had 3 or 4 soap pump cartridges (not the tube and not the bottle) I would be much happier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spray Head Detached We purchased the Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST for our newly renovated kitchen and within 4 months of use, the spray head detached from the supply line. I have tried numerous times to reattach the spray head to the supply line, but the connection appears to be compromised. I sent an e-mail to customerservice@deltafaucet.com and received an automated message to wait 24-48 hours for a response. The replacement line and head is $103.88.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from We really wanted to love this faucet We purchased this faucet after upgrading all of our appliances to black stainless and were pretty excited to get this installed. However once installed we noticed that the pulldown spray head did not match the body of the faucet, so we placed a call to Delta and the customer service lady was awesome and rushed a new spray head out to us and it too did not match (Very strange for Delta) So we are now searching for another faucet and out of the money for this one.. Very sad and in this case expensive trying to chase a look!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expensively disappointing. This is the second faucet of this model I have purchased, even after replacing the “diamond seal” cartridge on the first one. I thought perhaps the squeaking and squawking when using the handle was from my kids being aggressive with the handle, it seems this is just cheaply made. For the price I could have gotten a faucet from the supply house that wouldn’t have been a bunch of crummy plastic. The gaskets also aren’t good for the soap dispenser, the threads should be covered with PTFE tape to prevent leaking from the soap and the collar of “metal” trim seats too far down for the gasket to make a proper seal on my granite counters. Ruined the base cabinet underneath.

Does the rubber touch clean sprayer in the Ashton model# 19922Z-SSSD-DST contain latex?

Is there any way to clean out the spay head on this faucet?  I see no way to take the head apart but have used either a toothpick or paper clip to clean out the individual holes for the spay function.  When the openings clog the spray is not neat.

Is the black stainless painted on? Will the finish wear off or scratch easily?

Asked by: Rosebud
Hi Rosebud, Thank you for your question. The Black Stainless finish color of the Delta Ashton Pull-Down Kitchen 19922Z-KSSD-DST faucet is a durable, corrosion and tarnish resistant PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish. You will find that the use of PVD finishes is common throughout our industry and that finish variations are not unique to our products. The PVD process we use in the manufacture of many of our finished products adds the color to our Brilliance faucets and also provides superior abrasion resistance. We attempt to minimize variations in color by utilizing certain control methods. However, differences in sizes, shapes and materials of individual faucet parts can produce variations in color that can sometimes be noticeable to the human eye, despite the controls we have in place. Please know that we take extreme pride in the quality of our products and service. We sincerely appreciate you contacting us and allowing us the opportunity to offer a response. Best regards, Tanya

How do I fill the soap dispenser?  Can I do it from the top?  Or reach under the sink?

Will it be a problem if the pulldown faucet is left in the down position?

Asked by: SberryLenoir
Hello SberryLenoir, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend leaving the wand/sprayer assembly hanging from the spout arm docking. However, doing so would be a preference of the owner/installer. This faucet has the Delta MagnaTite Docking feature which uses a powerful integrated magnet to snap your faucet spray wand precisely into place and hold it there so it stays docked when not in use and doesn’t droop over time. I have weak water pressure after I installed my faucet. Every other faucet the pressure is fine. What can I d.

Asked by: gil15510
Thank you for your question, John A! We're sorry for this inconvenience and would recommend removing the pull down wand from the hose to check the debris screen for buildup that may have accumulated if the faucet was not fully flushed during installation. With the wand removed, point the hose directly into the sink and turn the water on to a full hot/cold mix for a minute to flush out any further sediment. If you have questions or need further assistance, please feel free to contact us directly. Best regards, Edward

Just installed Ashton 19922ZZ-SSSD-DST and no water comes out. How do I fix this?

Asked by: AndyH
Hello AndyH, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! Start by removing the spray head from your Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST faucet and checking the water flow. Next, flush the supply lines. Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge, and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. Please reach out directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Best regards, Bryan
