Nice faucet
I really like the appearance of this faucet and it does work well except the spray feature is not very strong, I wish it had a little more power behind the spray.

Delta is the best
Have been using Delta faucets for over 20 years. Have needed repair occasionally and when needed parts, or how to repair or replace was always given clear instructions for the repair and parts free. They stand behind their quality products with excellent customer service.

Good Faucet
The faucet works well and was easy to install. The instructions were great. The only hard was removing the 30 year old faucet. Looks great in my old 4 hole sink configuration. The cover plate for the extra holes integrates well with the faucet and sink. I know it is how things are done know, but lots of plastic parts looses a star. The other other star lost for the Gimmicky Spray Shield. It is a useless feature that really does nothing, other then take a good picture for the package. The rest of the sprayer looks good. To be fair I have a well and the water pressure may be on the low side for what is required, but it is above the minimum 35 psi. I did not buy the faucet for this, and will never use it. I did remove a star because it is a useless gimmick. The soap dispenser is adequate and looks good. Basically It is just there to fill in the hole form the old sprayer.

very disappointed
I love the look and color of this faucet unfortunately the use is not so good The sprayer head is angled to far toward the back that when you undock it it wants to spray backwards which makes it uncomfortable to use I would definitely return it if it wasn't already installed I had the previous version of this faucet and loved it the sprayer head pointed straight down

Great replacement
We bought this new Delta faucet at Lowes. Our old Grohe kitchen faucet started having problems within a couple months of purchasing it (15 years ago). The nail in the Grohe's coffin was a serious leak. The plumber installed the new Delta in a short time. In addition, he said he "loved Delta" - his "favorite!" Among the things he pointed out to us was Delta's parts replacement policy. We love how smoothly it works, plus the 2 different sprays,

Wise Choice
I made a very wise choice in selecting my Delta faucet. My plumber actually recommended this particular style when we knew my old faucet was about to give out. Its features allow us to refill our coffee maker easily. The higher necked faucet also enables easier access in cleaning larger heavy cast iron cookware. I owned a restaurant for 31 years so I had a good idea what I actually needed. Thank you Delta! You made my life easier!

Great Features and an Easy Hookup!!!
Installed this faucet yesterday. This was the easiest install I have ever done. The Pex hookup system allowed me to hook up to existing 3/8" Compression fitting valves in record time. Color coding the inserts red and blue made it easy to figure out which line was hot or cold.
Love the spray and the style!

Q&A
Looking for a soap dispenser to match #19922Z-SSSD-DST Pull down Faucet
Thank you for your question! Model 19922Z-SSSD-DST, already includes a soap dispenser. The part number for that soap dispenser is RP50781SS. I have included a link to the soap dispenser's web page, for you to refer to.
https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/RP50781SS
Best Regards, Benjamin
Date published: 2024-03-28
We just purchased and installed the 19922Z-SSSD-DST and are having a problem with the shield feature. It splatters on sink / counter top and spreads some while closing in about 5 or 7 inches down. The regular stream and shower seem OK.
Thank you for your question, Phillip! When using the ShieldSpray feature, please be sure to pull down the wand and place the dish in the center of the bubble area. This should reduce splashing by an average of 90% when compared to a standard spray setting. We recommend using the standard spray setting when the wand is docked. For more information, please visit the link below.
https://www.deltafaucet.com/design-innovation/innovations/kitchen/shieldspray
The ShieldSpray feature may be affected by debris in the wand, which can reduce the flow rate. For optimal performance, we recommend that the water pressure is above 35 psi. The Shield Spray feature will look tattered outside of 35-80 psi. Feel free to contact us directly, if you need further assistance.
Best Regards, Benjamin

How do I use faucet adapters with this? For example, if I want to connect a garden hose to it?
Hi, Optimus!
Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to install a garden hose to the sprayer of the Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST Faucet as potential pressure fluctuations during dishwasher operation may result in the hose rupturing.
Best Regards, Rosanna

I need a long hose in my drop down kitchen faucet because I have a very large deep sink. I like contemporary styling. I like the Ahston 19922z sssd-dst, but I fear the hose is too short. What models are best.
Hello Jody67,
Thank you for your question. The Delta Ashton ShieldSpray Pull-Down Kitchen 19922Z-SSSD-DST comes with a 62" pull-out hose assembly. This is the longest hose assembly that we manufacture for our pull-out/down faucets.
Best regards,
Tanya

Soap dispenser does not fit the hole in the counter top.Hole is to small.
Thank you for your inquiry, Condor! The soap dispenser that come with the Delta Ashton ShieldSpray Kitchen Pull-Down Touch2O 19922TZ-SSSD-DST faucet, requires a 1 3/8"
(35 mm) hole size for installation.

Tanya

I just purchased Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST with Brilliance Stainless finish. I would like to purchase an additional soap dispenser but not sure if I should order the "spotshield stainless" or "stainless" finish to match my faucet?
Thank you for your question, Sharon! Stainless Steel and SpotShield Stainless are identical in appearance; however, the RP50781 soap dispenser is available in both options. We recommend SpotShield if the dispenser will be used often, to ensure a longer lasting finish that both resists fingerprints and spotting.
Best regards, Edward

Had my stainless finish 199222-SSSD-DST for 1 wk and am disappointed that the escutcheon plate and soap dispenser water spots badly. Is there a polish or wax that can be applied to make water bead off them and is safe for this finish?
Hello Sad in Chilli,
Thank you for your question. Always blot dry any water from faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward.
Avoid using the following which can damage your finish:
Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes Avoid bleach-based cleaners.
Best regards,
Tanya
