Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Poor I spend a lot of money for this and the solenoid already went out. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this faucet! Wife picked this and I had to install it and was not looking forward to it. It was very simple to install I must say and I love the feature that allows you to tap the faucet anywhere and turn the water on. I find myself tapping the faucet at work as it is now a habit. You will love this if you buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This faucet is a pleasure to use on a daily basis. Two of my children have and love this faucet. I finally received my own this past XMAS. I did the install myself and it was pretty easy. Just check your water supply line cutoff valves first to make sure you have the correct type so you don't have to make an unexpected run to the local big box store in the middle of your install. Also, one of the steps requires you to put a bucket under the sink to capture the water coming out one of the supply lines as you flush the new faucet lines. With a garbage disposal and dual sink piping this was a little tight to do. Luckily I had some clear tubing that fit over the line and I ran the line out from under the sink into the kitchen and let the water go into the bucket outside of the cabinet housing. This was much easier. Besides this small detail everything went smooth and flawlessly. My wife loves it, I love it, and we wished we would have gotten this faucet a lot sooner. I believe we actually will use less water as it is so easy to touch on and off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to use My wife loves this faucet. The only faucets we've used have been Delta. We have been married going on 36 yrs and love the features and options Delta has. I'm a home builder and we build in the 150,000 to 1,500,000 range and encourage all our customers to choose Delta. This recommendation is from our company and the plumbers we have used from many years. Great Products

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great to have The unit is great, easy to install and operate. The only problem was that it started leaking from the spout and on page 44 it says that you have to change the cartridge. After talking to customer support they told me it was the solenoid, which they are sending me right now. Delta should revise the manual and add this problem as a cause for the unit to leak.

Does Delta make a kitchen facet with an anti-scald feature?

Asked by: Chris777
Hi, Chris777! Thank you for your question. Our Diamond Seal Technology faucets are made to be at 120 degrees or less. Hotter than 120 degrees may result in damaging internal parts in our Delta faucets. Best Regards, Rosanna

Does the touch feature only work if the handle is in the "on or open" position?

Just purchased this faucet, installation was very easy. Faucet looks great. Sadly there are no instructions or FAQ included for the faucet itself. I just need to know if I have to keep the faucet handle in the open position for the touch feature to work. If I have the handle positioned to close touch feature does not work.
Asked by: Racheta
Yes, the handle must be in the open position for the water to come on when you touch the faucet. I recommend at night and when you are not home closing the handle, as the electronics are persnickity under the sink, and it can have a tendency to turn on by itself.

Can this be set up to work without the Touch2O, i.e. using the handle for "normal" on/off?

Asked by: Rob
Of course you can set it up to work without the touch feature, but my question is, why spend the money for something you are not going to use?

can this faucet be set to initiate flow in either spray or stream mode?

Asked by: spark
Yes. It has a two position slider to change between the two. It is located on the pull out nozzle.

How does the temperature sensor light work on this faucet?

We installed this faucet but I don't see anything that tells us how the temperature sensor is supposed to work on this unit. The indicator light on our faucet never anything other than a red light.
Asked by: Jeff
Also make sure the led plug (looks like a headphone plug) is plugged in all the way, that was my mistake.

Can be installed directly in the sink without the mounting deck provided?

Kitchen sink has only one hole and not enough space for mounting deck
Asked by: Contacto EC
Yes, but only the faucet would fit, most likely; you won't have room for the soap dispenser (separate anyway).

Is there any difference in quality of faucet I can purchase from Home Depot or Lowes verses from a plumbing distributor?

My plumbing contractor is convinced there is a difference in the internal parts (quality & durability) of the fixtures at big box stores and feels I would be better off in long run to pay a little more and buy from plumbing distributor. Any difference in quality or warranty?
Asked by: JB
I would not think so

Faucet Handle Direction

For single handle faucet, should the handle direction be down for hot water and up for cold water? This seems reversed from other faucets but there is nothing in the guide showing handle direction.
Asked by: John
Thought I had screwed up, took it apart. Found that I had done it correct. Switched the lines. It now works the way it should per other faucets.
