Rated 3 out of 5 by from great brand new install today got it installed today and my wife is not happy with the touch feature. it just stops after 15-20 seconds of it running during use. then you have to touch it to turn on again for another 20 seconds. the instructions calls for 4 minutes then it auto shuts off. the manual is not telling me what or how to trouble shoot this.. any help is appreciated. thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek Design and Functional I installed this faucet about 3 weeks ago and it looks great, which I expected it to. I was a little hesitant on how it would function with the touch technology but so far so good. But like most purchases I want something that lasts and I haven't owned it long enough to make a true determination on how it holds up. I am currently using the battery pack but based on reviews of past customers I might install the A/C adaptor depending how long the batteries last.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn’t Last Long Bought this faucet 2 years ago. Worked great the first year now not so much. Like other reviewers the touch function is working sporadically. Can tap the faucet in multiple areas and nothing, then out of the blue it turns on by itself. I’ve been in the other room & will hear it turn on when I haven’t been near it or touched it for an hour. This has been happening multiple times in the past couple months. I’ve changed the batteries & even unplugged everything thinking it might reset itself but to no avail. Guess I’ll go back to a regular faucet. Would expect more life out of a $350 faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice !! I got this faucet as a gift. Installation was quite easy (and different than any I've done before). I had a problem with a persistent dripping after a few days. I notified customer service and they had a replacement part to me in only a few days. The faucet works flawlessly now. Also we love the spot free finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it My husband installed it about a month ago and it's working beautiful. I am like a kid with a new toy. Now, I have notice that recently when it's on touch mode and I tap it to shut off, it stays dripping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenience! The tap on/off feature definitely saves water and surely must help prevent germs. Especially when needing to wash hands after handling poultry by use of a wrist or back of the hand as opposed to using fingers to turn the faucet on.

the faucet goes on by touch and then stops on its own shortly after then you play a game of touch and go. it is very frustrating. is there a sensor or something we can do to make this stay on more than 10-45 seconds?

Asked by: Roger
Hi, Roger! Thank you for your question, and  I am sorry to hear you are having an issue with your Touch2O faucet. There are a couple of things that can cause the issue you are experiencing. The installation of electronic faucets must be precise to prevent interference in the signal or false activation. Over time things can be knocked around below the sink from the faucet being swiveled and hose being pulled out. If the signal is weak or wires come in to contact with one another or other components it interferes with the signal.  Below are items to check for.  Must Do or significant degradation in touch responsiveness is likely: • Use the stabilization plate provided with the faucet (it is an insulator, which helps the faucet recognize the signal better) • Use all other insulators provided with the faucet (exception: spout insulator cannot be used with thin-mounting surfaces) • Make sure the metal mounting shank is at least ½" from the sink bowl or other metal objects (e.g., sink clips, metallic hoses, house wiring, etc.) • Separate the black wire with the stereo plug as much as possible from the other wires.   Should Do or some degradation in touch responsiveness is possible: • Place battery pack as close to the floor of cabinet as possible (flat on cabinet floor for best results) • Maintain a 2" clearance around battery pack (excluding cabinet itself) • Route faucet wires away from all hoses and supply lines to prevent contact. • Avoid placing household objects (sponges, soaps, decorations, etc.) within 2" of faucet.   Must NOT Do or significant degradation in touch responsiveness is likely: • Modify the supplied parts (exception is stabilizer plate—it may be cut for non-standard hole spacing) • Use power adaptor in lieu of supplied battery pack. • Bundle wires together.   Should NOT Do or some degradation in touch responsiveness is possible: • **Connect faucet or battery pack to an earth ground (e.g., house wiring or water lines) • Install faucet on metal counter top (metal sinks are fine) • Install faucet within 4" of a metal back splash behind faucet. What is the Ethernet port for . Why does it have a connection like the one on the internet routers ?

Asked by: Chicofly
Hi, Chcicofly! Thank you for your question. The ethernet port on the solenoid assembly should be disregarded. It is technical testing at our factory. Best Regards, Rosanna

Does Delta make a kitchen facet with an anti-scald feature?

Asked by: Chris777
Hi, Chris777! Thank you for your question. Our Diamond Seal Technology faucets are made to be at 120 degrees or less. Hotter than 120 degrees may result in damaging internal parts in our Delta faucets. Best Regards, Rosanna

Does the touch feature only work if the handle is in the "on or open" position?

Just purchased this faucet, installation was very easy. Faucet looks great. Sadly there are no instructions or FAQ included for the faucet itself. I just need to know if I have to keep the faucet handle in the open position for the touch feature to work. If I have the handle positioned to close touch feature does not work.
Asked by: Racheta
Yes, the handle must be in the open position for the water to come on when you touch the faucet. I recommend at night and when you are not home closing the handle, as the electronics are persnickity under the sink, and it can have a tendency to turn on by itself.

Can this be set up to work without the Touch2O, i.e. using the handle for "normal" on/off?

Asked by: Rob
Of course you can set it up to work without the touch feature, but my question is, why spend the money for something you are not going to use?

can this faucet be set to initiate flow in either spray or stream mode?

Asked by: spark
Yes. It has a two position slider to change between the two. It is located on the pull out nozzle.

How does the temperature sensor light work on this faucet?

We installed this faucet but I don't see anything that tells us how the temperature sensor is supposed to work on this unit. The indicator light on our faucet never anything other than a red light.
Asked by: Jeff
Also make sure the led plug (looks like a headphone plug) is plugged in all the way, that was my mistake.
