The place where and allen nut should be is a solid metal plug?? So no idea of how to replace the cartridge- what ever the lifetime warranttee means this one's life time was two yrs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sprayer doesn’t last. Causes water damage The sprayer crapped out after 5 years. The handle leaks water and we found a ton of water under our sink puddled. Who knows how long it’s been leaking. We noticed the water puddle/damage and figured out it leaks every time we depress the handle to spray water.

How do I replace the springs in the unit? Do the tops come off or the handles?

Hi, guyowa! Thank you for your question. The Delta 2497LF faucet handles can be removed by unscrewing the set screw with a 3/32" allen wrench. The set screw is located at the side of each handle. I have a delta faucet just like this has lasted 25 years but it has porcelain handles. That is what I am looking for. Can you help me?

Is the side sprayer made of plastic or metal? And does the faucet include the diamond seal cartridge or another type of cartridge?

I just installed this faucet and With either hot or cold at almost full water volume - the faucet sings a note.  What is causing this and how can I make this noise go away?

A pressure that is too high or too low can cause noise. I also recommend flushing the faucet to remove any trapped debris. First, flush with the aerator removed and next with the stems, seats, and springs removed if needed. I have a Delta Model #297LF. Both the hold and cold faucets leak. We are looking to replace the cartridge or gasket which is what I was told is all we need. Is the O ring the same thing?

How to change aerator? Does it unscrew?

How do I remove the buttons on the side of the handles? They are almost flush with the handle and there isn't anything to grab on to.

Hi, There! We inadvertently dropped (and lost) the tiny "cap" as it were that covers the equally tiny hole at the base of one of the faucet handles. I didn't see that listed in your parts list; is there any way we can get a replacement? Chrome finish.

how close / far should i place the sprayer from the actual faucet? i can't find the minimum distance required or the length of the handle to make sure i wont set it too close.

The spout and retainer ring(MODEL#: RP73391) for Cassidy 2497LF has been discontinued. Now what do I do? Also it is stated the spout can be accessed by turning counterclockwise on the base... is that correct?

The spout hub can be unthreaded, and the spout body can slide out of the body. Purchased and had it installed by a plumber Delta 2497LF faucet in March of 2022. It has started to leak where the spout meets the base connector. I don't see anyway to repair it?

Did not install sprayer. Would like to add spray nozzle to faucet discharge.  Threads for aerator are not standard 15/16-27.  what size adapter is required to put standard sprayer on the end of faucet.
