Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT WHAT I WANTED I was looking for a kitchen faucet with a "Victorian" look like my bathroom fixtures by Delta,.couldn't find anything so I settled for this, ehh The aerator stinks it is very "spashy" . the standard old fashioned aerators were great I don't understand why you had to change to the ""cache" aerators they are horrible what a pain in the neck to change.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A Dud I purchased this faucet in April of 2018 and had it installed by a plumber in April.Since my old box store faucet did not work out it was my plumber who suggested Delta. So now less than six months of installation IT LEAKS! Why can't companies make reliable products? Now I will have to double my original investment and have to call the plumber to fix the leak Just not fair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Faucet; Unusual Torque This is a nice high kitchen faucet. The spigot is much easier to turn than I am used to, so I have hit my kitchen windowsill a time or two. The handles are more difficult to turn than any I have ever experienced, though I don't think the strength required is excessive. The sprayer works well. I like the white hose. I also like that the on button is on the front (spraying) side of the handle. I am less likely to spray myself while retrieving the sprayer.

The one thing I can't figure out is under what circumstances would you want a spout to rotate 360 degrees for your kitchen faucet? Unless you had 2 back to back sinks or wanted to give your counter tops a surprise wash.

I would have given this 5 stars except for one feature: the faucet is so loose that it swings back and hits the wall when we move it from one side of the sink to the other. If the water is on, we have to be very careful because we can end up with water all over the countertop. The plumber who installed it said there was no way to adjust it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely a quality faucet that is very easy to install. The Delta faucet was well package to prevent any damage. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Once the old faucet was out replacing it took less than 30 minutes to install. The only tools necessary was a wrench to tighten the water supply lines- the sprayer just snaps on and the faucet just screws into place with nuts that you hand tighten. Definitely a well crafted product that looks great.

They sent 2 different hoses neither had the correct attachment luckily I just needed to change out the handle. They look very nice but come on that's alot of $ for such a short life and the 2 wrong hoses cost over $50.00.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a faucet to match the hardware of the cabinets in my kitchen and this champagne bronze was perfect. I already chose it for the bathroom I just had remodeled. Not as dark as the oiled bronze but not brassy either. The cabinets are in a light oak finish. The faucet was installed by a professional plumber, along with a new garbage disposal unit around June, 2016. I have had no problems with leaks, loose parts, or the finish rubbing off. It looks brand new and all the parts work great, even the sprayer. Looks clean and elegant and is high enough to put big pots in the sink and fill with ease.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BAD Faucet I have all Delta faucet in my house for 8 years that work great and look great still. This last delta faucet I bought to replace a cheap faucet in my laundry room. This delta faucet is poorly built and feels like it will break easy. Wish I had returned it. Was not happy with the looks and quality. Should have listen to the reviews. Not Delta quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great until it started leaking I installed this faucet about 2-1/2 years ago. Installation was straight forward and went in without a hassle. I noticed it started leaking around the base of the neck about 3 months ago. I took the neck off and replaced the O-rings (I think they were size AS568-114) and put silicone faucet grease on. It helped minimally and I tolerated the leak which grew worse over time. Today I finally have to do something about it. I have water shooting up from the base of the neck to the extent it's no longer usable. I'm disappointed it only lasted 2-1/2 years. At this price point I expected a longer functional life. It appears there's enough room in the O-ring grove for a backup ring. I'm going to try that but I'm not optimistic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad to find a 2 handle system We had to replace a 2 handle faucet of another brand. They are getting harder to find. I like the high neck for cleaning large pans. The only thing I don't particularly like is the sprayer nozzle. It's a bit bulky to handle. Wish it was a bit slimmer to navigate rinsing out the sink. It just feels big and bulky.

Handles work with a slight push of a finger - easy on and off. The installation was very simple. Plus lifetime warranty. My last Delta lasted 18 years. So I know Delta products are very durable. You won't make a mistake in buying this faucet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sprayer was broken The faucet looks nice and seems solid. However, once it was installed it was discovered that the sprayer would not shut off. There were no more in stock at the supply house where I bought the faucet so I had to request a new sprayer from Delta Customer Service. This meant if I wanted to use the faucet I had to purchase a temporary sprayer from the plumber who did the installation. Customer service did send a replacement which I was able to install myself. I'm happy with Customer Service since they sent a replacement without making a fuss. I'm not happy that I needed to contact them on day one. One more thing - now that the faucet has been in for a few weeks I find that it drips randomly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap made aerator I like the faucet system with exception to the faucet aerator. It appears to be cheaply made with plastic threads that can easily be cross threaded. I removed it with the wrench supplied with system to clean the filter & had a very difficult time getting aerator back into faucet & ended up stripping threads. Very disappointed this part could not be found at local hardware stores, so I had to order it. Also could not find an adapter that would fit into faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from short life Purchased this faucet and installed in our new home six years ago. It leaks around the faucet riser, the set screws on the handle are frozen and can't be removed. Handles are loose. Awful expensive faucet to have worn out so quickly. I wouldn't recommend it. It is going to have to be replaced.

Can this be mounted without the deck plate onto a granite counter top? If so, how?

Delta 2497LF- What parts are non-metal? Is the sprayer head plastic? What is weight of product?

Our faucets use either metal and plastic combination or a proprietary mixture of components so that the product has a high quality, while maintaining safety control with the various temperatures of water that go through the product. Where is the spec for deck thickness?

I don't see the deck thickness that this and other Delta faucets are for. Is that information provided somewhere? I've noticed that many faucets with escutcheons are limited to one inch or thereabouts of countertop thickness.

Can this faucet be mounted without the base plate?

Because of the sink set-up I have to mount the faucet spout at the right, and both handles to the left of the spout.

How do i get the it aerator off the faucet due to the fact that it's recessed? Is there a special tool for this?

Water in Socorro NM is very hard. I am considering the Vessona with a ceramic valve or the Cassidy with the Diamond valve. What is your recommendation for long leak free service in an area with hard water? Thank you
