Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking faucet Nice looking and seemingly well built. However it began to leak within 2 yrs and is now a constant drip. The place where and allen nut should be is a solid metal plug?? So no idea of how to replace the cartridge- what ever the lifetime warranttee means this one's life time was two yrs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sprayer doesn’t last. Causes water damage The sprayer crapped out after 5 years. The handle leaks water and we found a ton of water under our sink puddled. Who knows how long it’s been leaking. We noticed the water puddle/damage and figured out it leaks every time we depress the handle to spray water.

I just installed the 2 handle model 2497LF kitchen faucet. Is there any way to change the angle of the handles other than sitting parallel to the base plate when in the "off" position? My old Am Std faucet had adjustable handles and made it easier to use.

Hi Urban! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. Unfortunately, there is no way to change the angle of the 2497LF handles. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us again. Best Regards, Carrie

If the diverter in my faucet is broken, would it cause no water at all to come out the spout? All of a sudden out of the blue, no water comes out the spout and it is getting water to the faucet, so I took the neck off to make sure it wasn't clogged.

Asked by: Bostock1957
Hello Bostock1957, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available for our Delta Faucet Cassidy™ Two Handle Kitchen Faucet With Spray In Venetian Bronze MODEL#: 2497LF-RB, and I am happy to help you! Low flow is normally caused by debris or blockage, with this I would ask that you do a whole faucet flush. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process. You will need a 1/8” Allen wrench if you have lever handles, a Philips screwdriver if you have knob handles, a towel, and a bucket. Please remove your handle with the 1/8" Allen wrench if you have a lever or remove the top cap to reveal the Philips screw if you have a knob handle, then pull the handle off of the stem unit. You will now see a bonnet nut, please remove it with your wrench. Please take note of how your stem units are installed in the valve. Please lift straight up to pull the stem units out and If you look into the valve, you should see a seat and spring. Please pull these pieces out before we flush. Next place the towel behind the back of the faucet, then put the bucket over the top of the towel. Have someone turn the cold water supply on for about 30 seconds to a minute. After this, shut the cold water off and move the bucket and towel to the hot side, flush that out as well. Lastly, remove the aerator and soak with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for about 15 minutes, and make sure to rinse the aerator off with water when completed. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

I have a Cassidy Two handle kitchen faucet that is seeping water from under the Hot water handle. I've removed the set screw from the side of the handle assembly to remove it, but the assembly will NOT come up off the faucet. What do I do now?

Asked by: Big Ed
Dear Big Ed, Thank you for your question! I will be happy to assist. Looking into this, with a stuck handle we would recommend soaking in 50/50 white vinegar and water. The handle was stuck due to the amount of calcium and mineral buildup due to the leaking. Please let us know if you need any further assistance, we will be happy to help you! Best Regards, Kyra

Asked by: Robert

Is this an immediate shut off faucet? We are looking for a gooseneck style kitchen faucet that turns off completely immediately when the faucet handle is turned off. We are replacing one that continues to slowly flow/drip for a few seconds after turn off.

Asked by: Retired
Hi Retired, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 2497LF-AR. The faucet should turn off when the handles are closed. A drip may indicate debris trapped in the faucet or wear to the rubber seats. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

What material are the parts of this faucet made of? Thank you!

Asked by: Barbara
Hello Barbara, Thank you for your question! I am sorry that the information you are inquiring about the Delta Faucet Two Handle Kitchen Faucet With Spray, model 2497LF, is not readily available; however, I am happy to help you. The faucet body, spout, and handle are metal. Unfortunately, we do not have a complete breakdown of the materials used; however, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate). Quality is of high importance to us, and our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure high-quality performance. Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer. Please contact us with any questions or for further assistance.
