Have had mine for almost 6 years and never had a problem n still looks new. I have stainless finish. Love longer handle on the sprayer too.

We picked this one because it is a little lower in height than other models but are not 100% satisfied due to the fact that you have to remember to really push it in every time you use The spray feature.

The handle is not designed well to distinguish the cold from the hot water. I would have chosen a different design but I needed the “look” to go with my new mission cabinets. There are DEFINITELY better designs out there

We ordered this from build.com after canceling our order with a large retailer because of delays. Build.com got it to us within a few days of our order!

We had a problem as there is a pull in window right over the sink so we were limited on faucets, they couldn't be too high. Delta helped me find this one and I am over the moon. You were the only one who had one and for that we are ever fo grateful.

It is true that the pull out spray nozzle does need a good tug, but because the nozzle already is well into the sink I don't need to pull it out often. Easy to adjust water force and hot/cold. Also the pull out spout is very easy to use contrary to many of the reviews I read. The spray function does not click off to stream once you turn off the water which I would have liked, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from great look and spray feature/ frustrating design I have bought many Delta faucets over the years and have always been happy. This one looks great and has great spray feature, but lacks in design. The pull out feature is very hard to properly dock in the holder and is even harder to pull out. If it is pushed in all the way, it pulls the entire top of faucet off when trying to pull back out. We have begun just barely pushing it in so it can be used, but it droops and sometimes falls out in the sink. I am not sure if there is a way to lube the docking area or what, but it has been a very disappointing function overall.

Sprayer option is handy would be a 5 star but sometimes the hose kinks if twisting to far. otherwise very happy with this purchase and finished off my new kitchen nicely :)

It also wasn't the most ideal style for us as we have to wash dishes by hand, and our dish drainer sits in the double sink. Still getting used to the built in sprayer (a bit splashy if we have full water flow; our sink is only 7" deep). But, well constructed faucet and works really well.

What is the distance from the base to the top of the handle?

Would you call this faucet a brushed chrome or brushed nickle

I am trying to match pendant lights with the faucet. All lights are either brushed chrome or brushed nickle. The faucet is called stainless.

Hi! Thank you for your question. This finish is called Arctic Stainless. It is neither a 'Brushed Nickel' or a 'Brushed Chrome' finish. It is a matte finish with a tint of blue. Arctic Stainless features cooler metallic tones. Best Regards, Rosanna

Re Cassidy kitchen faucet, I have a replacement retainer part that Delta supplied.   How do u replace this part?

Thank you for your question, Karen! The RP73942 retainer can be reached by first turning the water supplies to the faucet completely off, next remove the wand from the pull-out hose. You will then need to lift the top portion of the spout up and off, while pulling the hose through. The retainer will pull straight out of the lower portion of the spout and off of the hose. Now you can install the new retainer, threading the hose through it, until it sits inside the spout base as well as the upper spout segment. You can not screw the wand back on and turn on the shut-off supplies. Regarding this kitchen faucet: CASSIDY™ Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet MODEL#: 4197-AR-DST.  When this faucet is put in spray mode and the water is turned off, will it stay in spray mode when the water is turned back on?

Hot/Cold lever seems backward

We just built our new home and had this faucet installed. I love the classy look and cross handles we chose; however the lever that controls the hot and cold seems backwards to me. When it is lying down toward me, I can see the letter "C". I would assume this means "Cold" but when I turn it on in that position the water is hot. Vice versa the other way. My husband checked the water lines and they are connected blue to cold and red to hot so that is not the issue. Is this just how the lever is designed?
