Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Elegance in Chrome When remodeling my kitchen I was looking for a faucet with some character, that was not too tall. I have a 6" deep cabinet above the sink with 16" of clearance from the counter to the cabinet. Many of the new high curved models were too tall. This was perfect. It is heavy, but the visual weight balances nicely with my new deep stainless sink. I never dreamed that when the kitchen was completed the sink and faucet would be my favorite new items. After a year of use I would not make a change. I love my faucet! I am now getting ready to make some bathroom changes and I will be getting more Delta products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is a big honkin faucet Got home last night and hubs had already installed this Cassidy faucet. This is not sized for a normal kitchen sink. It's big enough for a great big jetted tub or even an outdoor spa. I can't believe I am stuck with this thing. As soon as I save up enough money for a different faucet, this thing is coming out of my kitchen. The color is beautiful. The sprayer arm is very difficult to detach and re-attach but works great when you actually pull it away from the stationary faucet. Hubs said installation was a breeze. Just a design gone mad in my opinion.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's a giant Just installed yesterday.To say I hate it is an understatement. But I'm stuck with it. I like the color. I like the overall style but the faucet is big enough to go on a two person jetted tub. Oh wait, I have one of them and the faucet there is not as big as this one. Love the handle. Easy to install. Watch ebay for this. As soon as I save up enough money I will be buying me another faucet/brand.

The handle slides in farther than my old one which was beginning to sag. I don't see this becoming a problem with this model. Love everything about this faucet. Customer service was great too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is not your grandma's kitchen faucet This faucet is beautiful -- it manages to look both modern and antique-ish and I love the chrome look. The pull out sprayer works so well that I use it often. I never used the old-fashioned single sprayer previously installed in my sink. Since this faucet is a single hole type, I had to contact Faucet Direct customer service to find the correct baseplate and a soap dispenser that also matched. They were very knowledgable and even were able to ship all three items in one box, which arrived very quickly, too. I'm very happy with Faucet Direct and my new kitchen faucet.

Saw (on another web site) a questions about switching sides for handle and someone saying it only swung 120 degrees. Mine swung 360 degrees so valve should be able to be put on either side. If it is on left however the valve will rotate back for hot water, so make sure you have enough room between faucet and back splash. I did not so I put it on the right. Time will tell about finish staying good and valve not leaking. There is, however, a lifetime warranty and valve looks easy to replace.

It totally upgraded and uplifted our kitchen. I'm also very happy with Delta's Customer Service. They listened and took care of our needs when I called to get a replacement part for our Delta faucet, which we have enjoyed for greater than 12 years. When we were advised our faucet had been discontinued, they immediately presented us with two great replacement, free of charge and also included the life time warranty. We also liked they sent us emails as to the progress of receiving our new replacement. Suggestion: To enhance Delta's Customer Service, have someone to do a final check on the new product being mailed out to the customer. When we received our new beautiful faucet, we could not install it immediately because it was missing the counter plate. I called Delta and they immediately got the correct counter plate into the mail and again they provided us with updates concerning the mail arrival process. We tell everyone about our new faucet and how wonderful Delta's Customer Service is. It is really hard, today, to find a company that still believes and practices excellent customer service begins with listening to your customer and providing them with world class products, warranty and customer service.

The Venetian Bronze faucet is beautiful and has a high quality appearance. It also matches the "oil-rubbed bronze" finish on my recently purchased flange/strainer. I find the sprayer easy to use, enjoy the far-reaching spray hose, and have no problem switching between a single water stream and a spray. Although I have only used it for about a month, I highly recommend it.

Not a drip of water escapes when the lever is shut off. The pull out nozzle is convenient and easy to switch from stream to spray. Installation was easy and straight forward. Excellent value for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta Cassidy 10" high Bronze faucet Installed this faucet with my new Blanco cafe brown sink and have only had it for about 3 weeks. Still getting use to the faucet being on the right side of the sink. My other 4 piece faucet set, the lever to turn on the water was on the left side. Love the bronze look and sprayer connected to the faucet. Keeps the sink and backsplash neat and clean. Had to get a 10 inch high faucet that cleared a window over my sink, that swings in to open. It also has a lifetime warranty and the clean feature, which will help with my hard water. I'm like that woman on the commercial, always wiping down the sink and faucet and telling everyone else to do the same. I'm sure this will wear off down the line.

What is the distance from the base to the top of the handle?

Would you call this faucet a brushed chrome or brushed nickle

I am trying to match pendant lights with the faucet. All lights are either brushed chrome or brushed nickle. The faucet is called stainless.

Hi! Thank you for your question. This finish is called Arctic Stainless. It is neither a 'Brushed Nickel' or a 'Brushed Chrome' finish. It is a matte finish with a tint of blue. Arctic Stainless features cooler metallic tones. Best Regards, Rosanna

Re Cassidy kitchen faucet, I have a replacement retainer part that Delta supplied.   How do u replace this part?

Thank you for your question, Karen! The RP73942 retainer can be reached by first turning the water supplies to the faucet completely off, next remove the wand from the pull-out hose. You will then need to lift the top portion of the spout up and off, while pulling the hose through. The retainer will pull straight out of the lower portion of the spout and off of the hose. Now you can install the new retainer, threading the hose through it, until it sits inside the spout base as well as the upper spout segment. You can not screw the wand back on and turn on the shut-off supplies. Regarding this kitchen faucet: CASSIDY™ Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet MODEL#: 4197-AR-DST.  When this faucet is put in spray mode and the water is turned off, will it stay in spray mode when the water is turned back on?

Hot/Cold lever seems backward

We just built our new home and had this faucet installed. I love the classy look and cross handles we chose; however the lever that controls the hot and cold seems backwards to me. When it is lying down toward me, I can see the letter "C". I would assume this means "Cold" but when I turn it on in that position the water is hot. Vice versa the other way. My husband checked the water lines and they are connected blue to cold and red to hot so that is not the issue. Is this just how the lever is designed?
