Rated 5 out of 5 by bubbag5_3666 from Beautiful Very easy for my hubby to install. Only problem was it was too big for our windowsill so we had to make modifications. Love how the head comes off as the sprayer hose!

Rated 5 out of 5 by reelxreviews_4675 from Very well made I received this Chrome Kitchen Faucet for free from Influenster and Delta in exchange for my honest review. Very excited to receive this as, it really filled a need in our home. The Delta Cassidy Single Handle Kitchen Faucet in Chrome has a sleek, modern look that still feels unique and timeless, not like every other chrome faucet out there. The design is elegant without being over the top, and it adds such a refined touch to the kitchen. The handle moves smoothly, the water pressure is great, and it feels solidly made. Overall, it’s a perfect mix of style and quality—a beautiful update that makes the space feel more polished and modern.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anna from Looks great… that’s about it After just a few years the faucet has become so loose that I can’t even really use it. The sprayer gets harder and harder to take in and out of the spout as well. Very disappointing for such an expensive product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Christy from Fantastic Faucet! This is a beautiful upgrade in our kitchen. Our sink has a window above it so the height of this faucet was better for us than the tall curved ones that they r showing everywhere. So happy we went with this one! Worth every penny!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Brevva from Horrible quality The nozzle does not retract easily. It does not fit together with the base well. The spout is made of plastic with a thin veneer or metal- very flimsy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Carmel from Laundry Room This faucet in the polished nickel is just gorgeous and looks great in my laundry room with the farmhouse sink. The water pressure/sprayer is powerful. I have had this faucet for 5 yrs now. The reason that I am not giving it 5 starts, is because after pulling the faucet head out all these years to spray down the sink, it is difficult and cumbersome to put the nozzle back in place. Sometimes there's a gap 'cause it's too hard to put back all the way. Building a new house so not sure yet if I'll put this one in the new laundry room because of this one issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by nanda from It lasted only 5 years, very disappointed! I bought this Delta Cassidy pull out sprayer faucet in 2018. and felt in love but two weeks ago the water pressure was vey low making impossible to use it. The plumber just left and said it's clogged and he does not want to try to fix bc it will break. This faucet is not "lifetime of Reliable Performance or self cleaning. It is too expensive in order to be replaced every 5 years!

Rated 5 out of 5 by KD from Nice looking and functiona This replaced a similar existing Delta faucet. I feel like the water pressure through the sprayer isn’t as good as the old one, but still a very nice faucet.

Q&A

on CASSIDY 4197-C2-DST , how do you replace the valve cylinder, once you have the handle removed? what holds the valve in place? Any special tools needed?

Asked by: TomB

Hello TomB, Thank you for your question. Once the handle of the Delta Cassidy Pull-Out Kitchen 4197-CZ-DST faucet is removed, you would remove the cap and unscrew the bonnet nut from around the the valve cartridge. Then, the valve cartridge can be pull right out of the valve body. Best regards, Tanya

Please explain how the handle operates - it looks like it rotates away from the faucet to turn it on and off. But how is the temperature regulated? If the handle needs to rotate back towards the backsplash, how much clearance does it need. Thanks!

Asked by: Marilyn

Hi, Marilyn! Thank you for your question. The Delta 4197-CZ-DST faucet handle turns out/away from the faucet to turn on and give hot water. Move the handle towards you to get hot water. The minimum clearance to back splash for the faucet is 2 1/2" (64 mm). Best Regards, Rosanna

Hot/Cold lever seems backward

We just built our new home and had this faucet installed. I love the classy look and cross handles we chose; however the lever that controls the hot and cold seems backwards to me. When it is lying down toward me, I can see the letter "C". I would assume this means "Cold" but when I turn it on in that position the water is hot. Vice versa the other way. My husband checked the water lines and they are connected blue to cold and red to hot so that is not the issue. Is this just how the lever is designed?

Asked by: Sherry

Hi Sherry, Thank you for your question. Rotating the handle backwards toward the C will provide cold water. Rotating it forward toward the H will increase the temperature. Best regards, Jon

Is there a larger size escutcheon available for this model?

I am mounting this faucet on a vintage cast sink with previously a 3 hole mount faucet. The area has some discoloration I am trying to cover. I purchased a RP714545 escutcheon but it is a little short for the coverage area I need. Is there a larger one that is compatible?

Asked by: tcall61

Hi tcall61, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not offer an larger escutcheon for the model 4197-DST faucet other than the RP71545. Thanks, Dave

We installed a Cassidy faucet it our Kitchen and love the color (Chrome) however it is very difficult to pull out the sprayer and return it??? Can you give me some things to check, I really don't want to return it, I just want it to function correctly.

Asked by: Mark6466

To help with the tight fit issue try WD40 Silicone spray on the plastic base that fits into the wand opening not the opening itself.
