It renews memories of the personal service experience of an old-timey hardware store. Through the years, I have bought quite an assortment of faucets for my rental properties. This Delta faucet is installed, looks great, and is performing admirably.

Needed a new cartridge called delta customer service told what was going and they sent me a new. No charge lifetime warranty. Took my husband 5 minutes to change. Will definitely buy from delta again customer service is great!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from worked for about 1 year installed 2021, worked about 1 1/2 years. Now it takes several attempts to stop the water from dripping or sometime a steady stream of water. The spray handle does not work at all now. Contacted Delta as my plumber suggested waiting on their response.

faucet and handle are misaligned

Just bought a home, it has this faucet installed. The faucet and the handle are misaligned, with the handle turned to the right by about 30-45 degrees. I was able to remove the lever by loosening the setscrew, but was not able to determine how to rotate the cap/bonnet/valve so that the handle would be aligned with the faucet. Ideas? It works fine, just bugs me about the alignment thing

Hi Bob, Thank you for your question. The position of the handle is determined by the installation of the valve. Does the handle swivel to the right and left for cold and hot water and can you adjust for warm water

4453-AR-DST. Am thinking about buying this one but have this big concern. Also I have 2" space between raised countertop and faucet handle I have now. Specs say need 2 1/2. If handle swivels, would this still be a problem?

Hi Pat, Thank you for your question. The handle will tilt up to turn the water on and right/left to adjust the temperature. We recommend that there be 2 1/2" from the center of the faucet to the back splash. I am getting quartz countertop; have undermount sink [Ruvati 32-inch Low-Divide 50/50 Double Bowl Undermount 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink – RVM4350] ---- should I have gotten this faucet: Delta 4453-AR-DST Linden Single-Handle Kitchen Faucet?

Thank you for your question, BarbaraC! The Delta model 4453-AR-DST will work with an undermount as well as top mounted sink. Our products are manufactured to fit standard applications. However, we do manufacture extension kits for granite for some of our models. This information is normally located in the technical specifications sheet for each model. What are the exact dimensions of the single hole eustachian mounting plate for Model#: 4453-AR-DST?

Faucet Finishes

I have a 4453-AR, I'm not sure of the finish that I have. I need to order a single mount escutcheon & gasket. What is the difference between the stainless steel and the arctic stainless steel. The pictures don't show enough detail for me to identify which I have. I updating counter tops and want to have a single mount. I can take a photo of what I have if that will help. Thanks in advance.

Hi RLB, Thank you for your question. The AR in the model number stands for the arctic finish, SS would be the brilliance stainless. The SS finish has a gold hue to it, comparable to brushed nickel. The arctic stainless has a blue tint that matches with stainless appliances. The part for the single mount would be the RP60692AR. Thanks, Dave

I am trying to remove tha aerator with the blue tool supplied w the faucet.Do you just twist the aeraror off, counter clock wise? It seems very tight

The faucet is only 2 weeks old, brand new.
