Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaking I had this installed properly & almost immediately the faucet started to drip about 1/4 cup overnight. To be fair when I called customer support I was told it was due to a faulty cartridge & a new one has been sent to me. The faucet is lovely but very disappointed in the workmanship. Waiting for the plumber to return from vacation to have the cartridge replaced & hopefully that will fix the problem

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic replacement parts I appreciate the limited lifetime warranty but when I ordered a replacement spray head for my kitchen faucet I was totally surprised about the poor/cheap craftsmanship of the replacement part. The spray head was thin plastic and my wife and I decided we would do without the spray function and keep the original head. The original faucet was great until it broke, now we will shop for a replacement, maybe not Delta.

Plumbing store recommended, i had a licensed plumber install andvwhen all was done after using it, both me and other family members feel same. Not much water pressure by comparison either

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOVE the functionality and quality of this faucet Metal sprayer cord is smooth acting and retracts fully with every use. Love that you can keep the sprayer in either regular stream or sprayer mode between uses for hands free sprayer use (some faucets require you to hold the sprayer button down for use). After 15+ years of use, the enamel flaked and the hose suddenly flooded under the sink. After 2 calls to delta warranty (and 4 weeks waiting for parts to arrive), finally received parts for warranty repair. Can be installed without the white base.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Disappointment I had an older faucet (Delta 470 ) which gave me great service, but grew oldand started to leak around the handle, so I decided to buy another. Greatest mistake I ever Made. The faucet creaks when you turn it on . It runs or drips when you try to shut it off. One has to fiddle with the handle to get it to shut off. This is a great disappointment . I wouldn't buy from this company nor another delta faucet again.

Similar style to the older model but this one is a lot easier to install than the older one. The older model would not swivel any longer. I contacted Delta and they sent a replacement , no questions asked. Top class service from an organisation. I am a Delta customer for life

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Facet no longer swivels I had my facet installed by a licensed plumber on 6/30/2011. I did like how the facet worked. But after only 6 years, the facet no longer swivels. It's now stationary in one position. While I called Delta and they happily supplied me with a replacement "O" ring which saved me a $1.50 purchase at the local hardware store, now I have to hire a plumber and pay him/her to replace it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Side Mount vs Under Mount Buttons The feature that sold me on this faucet was the location of the buttons for switching from spray to stream mode. Most faucets have the button(s) on the underside. When comparing the side mount buttons with under mount buttons on various faucets I found the side mount style to be more comfortable in my hand. The faucet has been in use for only a month now but I'm satisfied with the quality and performance so far.

I telephoned Delta and they graciously offered to replace the entire faucet at no cost, based on their 'life time' warranty program. The customer service representative was knowledgeable, pleasant and could not have been more supportive. In today's society, what other company honors a twenty year old warranty? When making your next purchase, I encourage you to consider, Delta not only manufactures superior products, they also honor their commitments to their customers.

It seems a little flimsier and the water stream and power is not as strong. Although my previous faucet lasted many years, I am not as confident about this latest white model. However, I would recommend the products.

Luckily we were home and caught it early or the water leaking under the handle that went under the sink would have caused significant damage. No water to the kitchen sink until it can be repaired. Would not buy again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product has nice features but unreliable. Our model (DST-473) in brushed stainless is no longer available but is almost identical to the DST-470. We had to replace the first faucet after it leaked while in the cradle and caused us thousands of dollars in wood floor repair. If you don't check the connection frequently, it is subject to loosening and unless you pull it out of the cradle often, you would never know it was leaking until it was too late. The insurance company required us to replace the entire faucet. Two days ago, we noticed water was dribbling out of the hose connection again. We constantly check for tightness, but somehow missed seeing that a plastic ring was totally broken away from the hose connection. It was the little ring that we tighten regularly. We immediately set up fans to dry under the sink and back wall opening. We discovered that it would require a new Quick-Connect Hose to stop the leaking, and we will need to call a plumber because it is a tight space and prefer a professional than ourselves. We've built this house 13 years ago, so each faucet averaged about 6-1/2 years. We were fearful of seeing floors warp again, but happy we caught it before it traveled through the walls. With this experience twice, we wonder whether we should just buy the hose or replace the entire faucet for a new style. Very disappointed in this Delta faucet. We have a total of 13 Delta faucets in our house and this is the only one that has caused problems and concerns.

I pulled the strainer screen and found small bits of black rubber clogging the screen. I cleaned it out and reinstalled the strainer but the condition continues. I do not know how to disassemble the valve.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easy installation, dismal spray hose, supply line limitations We replaced our Signature faucet with a new one (2016). Installation is a breeze; compared to the previous one (~16 years old), the main stem does no longer require a special tool to attach/remove. However, the spray hose is now made of plastic, as opposed to the old metal-braided version. That new hose kinks very easily, which affects and sometimes stops the water flow. The old metal hose unfortunately does not fit the new faucet, as far as I can see, anyway. I wish Delta would either offer a metal replacement hose, or switch back to using a metal-braided version. Personally, I think the issue is big enough to be worthwhile for a third company to offer a metal-braided replacement hose. I also believe Delta should have stayed with the usual way of connecting water to the faucet, i.e., let the customer choose the method., As it is, there are Pex lines molded into the assembly. I personally prefer metal-braided lines here as well, even if I have to purchase them myself.

Do you make a reverse osmosis faucet (smaller faucet off to side) in arctic stainless that will go with 470-ar-dst?

Wand Shutoff??

Does the pull out “wand assembly” have a water shut-off button? That is, can you shut the water flow completely OFF from the wand assembly?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 470-AR-DST has a handle on the back of the faucet. The only way to completely shut off the water is to use the handle. The spray wand will switch from spray to stream but not turn the water off completely. We do manufaucture touch faucets that can be shut off by touching the spout.

Is there a flow restricter I can remove? (I have low water pressure)

Hi Jkflip, Thank you for your question. There is not a removable flow restrictor in the model 470-AR-DST. The flow rate is controlled by the aerator which on this model is 1.8 gallons per minute. You can switch out the aerator to one with a higher flow rate, the RP53998 flows at 2.2 gpm and will fit this model. Thanks, Dave http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp53998.html

Cache aerator adapter

My 470-DTS has cache (hidden internally) aerator. Need to know specification for the aerator thread size to convert it to most common 15/16"-27 or 55/64-27" thread. Thank you.
