This is a good option if you have a smaller basin and want to avoid getting water all over the counter. It can feel a bit short when washing large items, but it's great quality for the price and looks good.

I bought this house +10 years ago and was equipped with delta products, the lifetime warranty of the product was honored. Customer support representative was very polite, helpful and effective to promptly resolve the issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta a company that stands with there product I always look at the negative reviews as i do not know who is writing the positive ones. however Delta as a company has impressed me so many times over i felt obligated to write this review. i have several delta faucets in my home. delta customer service is always extremely helpful identifying the faucet problem and replacement part and helping with instructions to disassemble, replace part and reassemble the faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor adaptive engineering I bought this model as for 10+ yrs I loved this design with the old “ball & springs.” Delta made a big mistake simply putting ceramic innards in this older model. Now the handle must be put in a precise location every time it is turned off or else the faucet runs or drips. Even when it is precisely shut off it may start to drip of its own volition after 30 mins or so. Often I may turn the faucet on/off 30-70 times per day. I’ve used this faucet for 2 months and am shopping for a replacement as I can no longer put up with this shoddy product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its simplicity. The faucet leaked from the date of installation. I contacted Delta and explained the problem to a Delta technician. He diagnosed the problem, and Delta mailed me a new 50587 cartridge. The installation was easy. I appreciate the professional and expeditious manner in which Delta responded to my problem. I would recommend Delta products without reservation.

I now how the same faucet in stainless steel. It looks and performs beautifully. I am very impressed with the quality and ease of installation. I am so happy that Delta still sells this faucet 20 years later now in 2020!

(1997 Model) The older model would leak just a bit at the base after 20+ years of hard service. I went to the local hardware store and they had what looked like the exact same model I had. I purchased the faucet; simple to install as it looked like a replacement. The new model has a much better pull out faucet hose. After installing the new faucet, the water pressure was SLOW ! I took the faucet apart and removed the water restrictor. Bingo ! The pressure returned and I could not be happier with the new faucet.

Now about 6 months into installation, this faucet has started to leak and be difficult to turn off. I called their customer service they immediately sent a new cartridge but who wants to deal with fixing an essentially new faucet. ai'd recommend buying something else

It seems to be higher quality than the faucet it replaced that was purchased at a large hardware store. Since the old faucet was a "lemon' and was cheaply made my plumber assured me that it is higher quality than the old faucet. I like the Delta warranty & like the idea that parts are available if it needs a repair. We wanted a black faucet to match our sink & the new one matches well. We are grateful to have the new faucet since we did not have running water in the kitchen after the old faucet broke. It took about one month to get the new Delta faucet because the wholesale supplier to our plumber did not have a black one & had to order it from the factory. All this occurred during the Covid 19 pandemic.

It dripped constantly for the past two years, even after installing the replacement parts Delta sent to me. Delta sold me a replacement faucet at a discount but it has a stainless steel finish since brushed nickel is no longer available. It's way too shiny and shows spots whenever touched .... I'm so disappointed:-(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Need to redesign this faucet! Like other customer reviews listed here, this faucet has a "leaking" problem. I had it installed new in December of last year and within seven months (July) it was leaking heavily (ruining the wood cabinet below.) Four months later (on Thanksgiving no less), the faucet started leaking again. I've asked for a complete replacement of this faucet, but Delta only will only replace parts. I think they should scrap and/or redesign this unit as it seems to be a common complaint with this particular model.

It worked so well in the first house, that I replaced a competitor's unit that kept leaking even after a gasket replacement. The Delta is a better basic design and much better quality construction.

It also feels much flimsier and cheaper than the original faucet. I still like the way it looks and the life time warranty that comes with it.

when I look online for a Delta faucet #470DST, the faucet shown is like a 472DST which has a wider base. I need the narrow type faucet. I have checked several different suppliers. David Irvin

Delta model 472-DST and the 470-DST are essentially the same and both part of the Signature collection, however model 472-DST is used to designate the standard Signature model using the optional escutcheon plate along with the loop handle. The bases are exactly the same width. (1 15/16") Thanks, Antoine

Where is the toggle button to change from spray to stream

Hi Mair, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Signature Kitchen Pull-Out 470-DST faucet has a toggle button on the sides of the pull-out wand assembly. Pushing this toggle button back and forth will switch the water flow between spray and steam feature. Best regards, Tanya

Our home was built in 2007.  We have what looks like a Delta Signature 470-DST or 470-AR-DST. How can I tell which one it is and where is the model number found?  Our hose is leaking and we need to replace it.

The web site shows the Magna-Tite icon for the Signature (470-DST), but the spec sheet does not mention that feature. Does this model have Magna-Tite?

what is the minimum hole diameter for the faucet and soap for single hole application for faucet?

the specs page is unclear as the measurement I only have 1 5/16 diameter hole. If this is too small do you have another kitchen faucet like this that would fit? thanks

hose leaks under sink, no drip from faucet

The black water feed hose under the sink leaks from the top of the connection. Would this be a problem with the faucet connection or the plumbing connecting the small hose under the collar bracing the hose to the sink? We are going to replace parts since the faucet is already partially taken apart. Does the base also come apart

Hi, Maureen. Thank you for your question. The base does come apart by turning off the water to your faucet first. You're then able to remove your handle assembly by using a 1/8" allen wrench to unscrew the set screw. Take the handle off and then unscrew the cap assembly. What clip to use for attaching pull out handle to faucet water line?

From the information on your webpage I think the faucet is a Signature 470-DST, 470-WE-DST or 472-DST. The pull out handle uses some type of clip at the end to attach to the water line coming from the faucet. From the parts diagrams it looks like part # RP60911 is the part. Can you verify this? Attached are a couple of photos of the faucet and the connection I'm trying to repair with this part. Thanks.
