Delta has always honored their lifetime guarantee for us with friendly and effective service when any repair parts were needed (very infrequently).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Better than Moen The 470-DST replaced a defective Moen faucet. I like the way it handle a lot better. When you select stream or spay it stays that way not dependent on pressure as the Moen did. The volume of water flow seems better even though they both had restrictors. The Delta just works better.

The price is reasonable, its easy to keep clean and easy to use. What more do you need in a kitchen faucet?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Customer service is great Have all Delta faucets in my home that was built in 1999. Every time I need something Delta has always come through with no hassle. They are the one of the best companies I've ever dealt with when it comes to customer service, and taking care of my needs. I can't recommend them highly enough...... I don't know about any other companies as I'll only have Delta faucets. Why go anywhere else? The lifetime warranty for the original owner is exactly what one gets........ That can't be beat..... They also have very stylish products in my opinion........ I haven't had to buy another faucet for this home I built in 1999........ What else could I ask for?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I highly recommend this product. Customer Support helped me by telephone, virtual tour and written instruction. They gave me advice and a tool to remove the old faucet. I was able to remove the old faucet and install the new in less than an hour. I am not a professional but have replaced faucets in the past. This one by far was the easiest.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed in quality I had the prior version of this faucet for 10 years. I had to replace it because there were problems, it had started to leak and just had some general issues. I don't have a problem with that since Delta replaced it for free. This replacement faucet is definitely cheaper quality. The finish seems to stain with water droplets constantly. The construction of the handle is definitely not the quality of the prior one. The prior faucet was definitely of sturdier construction. I only recommend it because I do like the overall design and I do think Delta is a good company.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Basis fault From the beginning the pull-out part of the faucet would not fit back into the opening. I paid a plumber to tinker with it, but he failed to remedy the fault. For six months since then, the pull-out part has dangled below the opening with a couple of black plastic (?) gaskets exposed. It will not even fit in when shoved -- and who wants to be jamming a faucet head in place every time you use it? I am planning to ask Delta for a replacement of a DIFFERENT MODEL.

The brushed stainless finish shows every water spot with my hard water, so I have to keep drying off the spots.

It works smoothly an effortlessly, without developing drips or problems of any kind. The toggle between spray and stream works well and makes a positive transition between modes, unlike those of competing brands. The article stainless finish looks the same as it did at the time of installation and is simple to wipe clean. This design is a winner!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from After 7 years of gentle use: While I LOVE the functionality of this faucet, for the price, I would expect it to hold-up better than it has. Over the years, I've had problems with the wand's threading loosening from the water supply line. That was remedied by re-tightening it. This week (after 7 years of use) the wand completely pulled-out of the interface. (Broken) Not because it was forced, but because the o-rings around the wand's hose got stuck to the faucet body and prevented the hose from following the wand when the wand was pulled out for spray use. We were not hard on this faucet (no kids), so if you're tough on stuff, this is unlikely to last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have Delta in my shower and over tub. Very happy! Just had my plumber install a new Delta faucet in my kitchen, single hole with pull out sprayer. Had a Moen, similar type, but base gasket deteriated resulting a loose and shifting faucet that could not be fixed, due to poor engineering! I will Never buy another Moen product. The Delta faucet is made so much better. There is no comparison! Thanks!

when I look online for a Delta faucet #470DST, the faucet shown is like a 472DST which has a wider base. I need the narrow type faucet. I have checked several different suppliers. David Irvin

Delta model 472-DST and the 470-DST are essentially the same and both part of the Signature collection, however model 472-DST is used to designate the standard Signature model using the optional escutcheon plate along with the loop handle. The bases are exactly the same width. (1 15/16") Thanks, Antoine

Where is the toggle button to change from spray to stream

Hi Mair, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Signature Kitchen Pull-Out 470-DST faucet has a toggle button on the sides of the pull-out wand assembly. Pushing this toggle button back and forth will switch the water flow between spray and steam feature. Best regards, Tanya

Our home was built in 2007.  We have what looks like a Delta Signature 470-DST or 470-AR-DST. How can I tell which one it is and where is the model number found?  Our hose is leaking and we need to replace it.

The web site shows the Magna-Tite icon for the Signature (470-DST), but the spec sheet does not mention that feature. Does this model have Magna-Tite?

what is the minimum hole diameter for the faucet and soap for single hole application for faucet?

the specs page is unclear as the measurement I only have 1 5/16 diameter hole. If this is too small do you have another kitchen faucet like this that would fit? thanks

hose leaks under sink, no drip from faucet

The black water feed hose under the sink leaks from the top of the connection. Would this be a problem with the faucet connection or the plumbing connecting the small hose under the collar bracing the hose to the sink? We are going to replace parts since the faucet is already partially taken apart. Does the base also come apart

Hi, Maureen. Thank you for your question. The base does come apart by turning off the water to your faucet first. You're then able to remove your handle assembly by using a 1/8" allen wrench to unscrew the set screw. Take the handle off and then unscrew the cap assembly. Then, you're able to take the hub/base off of the valve. Best Regards, Rosanna

What clip to use for attaching pull out handle to faucet water line?

From the information on your webpage I think the faucet is a Signature 470-DST, 470-WE-DST or 472-DST. The pull out handle uses some type of clip at the end to attach to the water line coming from the faucet. From the parts diagrams it looks like part # RP60911 is the part. Can you verify this? Attached are a couple of photos of the faucet and the connection I'm trying to repair with this part. Thanks.

Hi Paul, Thank you for your question. Based on your photographs you have an older non-DST version of the 470/472. The correct clip to use on your hose connection is the RP32522.
