How do you remove the sprayer/nozzle to clean?

I'd like to check the inside of the sprayer/nozzle if there is any build-up or debris. The flow from it has seemed very slow/low lately. The button on the sprayer is also very tough to press.
Asked by: fcradit
Dear Fcradit, Thank you for your question! If debris is trapped in the wand assembly, please remove the wand from the hose and try lightly tapping it upside-down on the counter. You may also try soaking it in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about 15 minutes to help remove minerals. Best regards, Tanya

Asked by: tania4444
Thank you for your question, tania4444! I do apologize that you are not getting any water flow to your touch faucet, but will be more than happy to help! Model 9159T-DST runs on batteries, as a default option. When those batteries die, the light at the base of the faucet will blink red 3 times. Once the batteries die, the faucet will not be able to get water until new batteries are installed. Feel free to contact us directly, if you need further assistance. Best Regards, Benjamin

Renovating my kitchen and am interested in this Trinsic faucet. Does the water flow from the aerator at an angle (if so what angle)or straight down?

Also, may be better off with the Bar/Prep model (#9959 AR) which seems to have the same spout height despite the decreased overall height. What is the angle of water from that spout? Any other differences between the two models?

As a global manufacturer, we also source and assemble a number of parts around the world. No matter where in the world our products are sourced, manufactured or assembled, they are built to Delta Faucet Company’s exacting specifications and are quality tested to ensure long-lasting performance. We have one of these faucets installed in our office and recently the flow on the hot water side is greatly reduced almost to a trickle. The hot water supply valve is wide open. Please advise as to the best option for troubleshoot this problem.

Asked by: craig1961
Hi, craig1961! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing low flow from your Delta faucet. Over time, common water debris will settle in the house supply lines. Anytime the water is shut off to a portion of the home, this debris can become dislodged and will move through the pipes to be caught by a faucet. Local construction or the changing of the seasons can also cause this. Flushing the supply lines through the unit should remedy this situation. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. If this does not fix the issue, please contact us back. Best Regards, Rosanna
