Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thoroughly disgusted! Bought this faucet about 9 months ago. Started having issues within 2 weeks. Sitting in my office one day I hear a gush of full stream water from the kitchen. The faucet turned itself on! Good thing I was nearby to turn it off. Since then it periodic shuts itself off on a daily basis no matter how long it's been running. Yesterday, for the second time in 2 months it stopped running water altogether! For the price of this facuet it should diagnosis and fix itself!! Instead this is the second time having to call a plumber or Delta support. I've had $100 faucets that were better and more dependable than this!!! Do NOT buy one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great Slightly more yellow brass than I would choose, but overall good color. The touch system is great after getting used to it. Leaves lots of fingerprints, though. Also bought the soap dispenser that matches - was totally surprised that it is a very expensive piece of plastic. Time will tell if the finish on it holds up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the touch, quality isn't great I bought one in 2012 and the solenoid has stopped working. (This is the second time) I usually take it apart and clean it our and grease up the components, but I'm tired of having to do so. It has also developed rust on the magnetic joint (it's swollen with rust). The LED ring on the base stopped working after the first year. The placement of the battery pack needs to be strategic as it affects the touch. Also don't get too much water on the base. Mine was properly installed, but the gasket wasn't tight so some water had dripped down to the solenoid causing rust on the metal pieces on it. I applied silicone after that and should have applied it at the time of install. Warranty is done with, and despite it only lasting 6 years, I want to replace it with the same kind because of the touch feature (I don't want a motion sensing faucet). I have an early version of the faucet (an open battery box design) and I sure hope the kinks have gotten worked out on this model.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the Touch On/Off Feature We originally installed a Delta Touch Pilar in our previous house and missed the touch feature after we moved. We have installed 3 of the Delta Trinsic models in our new house and continue to love the touch on/off features. Had a small problem with the faucet dripping on one of the Trnisic faucets which was quickly taken care of my Delta customer service by sending a replacement part. These faucets are easy to install and work great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn’t Be Happier With My Purchase I always wanted a faucet that you can turn on and off with a quick touch for those times when your hands are dirty from raw foods. We purchased the Touch2O Trinsic faucet in polished chrome when we remodeled our kitchen this year. I absolutely love the clean lines of this faucet and the Touch2O feature. It goes well with our contemporary style; and it feels solid and cleans up nicely. The automatic shut off is a great feature. I purchased the ac adapter so I wouldn't have to worry about changing out batteries. There are lots of expensive faucets out there but who needs them! This one works beautifully, looks great, and is a good value.

I've had this faucet for about six months. In the past week, every time I turn the faucet on or off the TempSense light blinks red three times. What does this mean?

Asked by: BenH
Hello, BenH. Thank you for your question! The light will flash red 3 times when the faucet is turned on or off if the batteries are low. We recommend installing a brand new set of non-rechargeable, Duracell or Energizer batteries. Please refer to page 16 of the Instructions for more information: https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/92519%20Rev%20H.pdf Best regards, Jon

How do I manually bypass the electronics section, should the need ever arise?

Asked by: Pfloof
Hello Pfloof, Thank you for your question! The faucet can be operated manually by disconnecting the battery box while the water is running. It will remain in manual mode until you reconnect the batteries. Another method is to remove the solenoid assembly and connect the hose directly to the faucet under the sink. Best regards, Tanya

How do I remove the screen for cleaning.

Asked by: Tommy
Hi, Tommy! Thank you for your question. The aerator in the sprayer of the Delta 9159T-DST faucet is not removable from the sprayer. To clean, remove the sprayer from the hose assembly. Soak the whole sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution. This can be soaked for an hour or even overnight. Best Regards, Rosanna

When my kitchen faucet with touch technology gets wet, it works erratic. Is there anything I can do, so this doesn’t happen?

Asked by: Ricardo
Hi, Ricardo. Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing erratic issues with your Delta faucet. We do recommend to wipe the faucet down after each use. Here is a list of do's and don't's for touch faucets: Must Do or significant degradation in touch responsiveness is likely: • Use the stabilization plate provided with the faucet (it is an insulator, which helps the faucet recognize the signal better) • Use all other insulators provided with the faucet (exception: spout insulator cannot be used with thin-mounting surfaces) • Make sure the metal mounting shank is at least ½” from the sink bowl or other metal objects (e.g., sink clips, metallic hoses, house wiring, etc.) • Separate the black wire with the stereo plug as much as possible from the other wires Should Do or some degradation in touch responsiveness is possible: • Place battery pack as close to the floor of cabinet as possible (flat on cabinet floor for best results) • Maintain a 2” clearance around battery pack (excluding cabinet itself) • Route faucet wires away from all hoses and supply lines to prevent contact • Avoid placing household objects (sponges, soaps, decorations, etc.) within 2” of faucet Must NOT Do or significant degradation in touch responsiveness is likely: • Modify the supplied parts (exception is stabilizer plate—it may be cut for non-standard hole spacing) • Use power adaptor in lieu of supplied battery pack • Bundle wires together Should NOT Do or some degradation in touch responsiveness is possible: • **Connect faucet or battery pack to an earth ground (e.g., house wiring or water lines) • Install faucet on metal counter top (metal sinks are fine) • Install faucet within 4” of a metal backsplash behind faucet • Wrap wires around drains If you should need further assistance, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358.
